Love my crochet hangers. Years ago I was gifted some crochet hangers. The best part is that she used two metal hangers and also crochet the hooks. I felt it was a great way to recycle all of those uniform service hangers.
I was gifted with this style crochet covered hangers by a dear friend and I love, love, love them. She learned this pattern from her Grandmother as a child and it is the only crochet she knows. I have looked for a similar pattern and am so happy to find your video tutorial so I can learn to make them.
I'm going to be making me a few of these hangers. I'm with you on the knots. You can always find creative ways to hide them, but I want it to be secure. Thank you so much for showing us how to do this.
Oh yeah I'm excited about this video I learned how to crochet on TH-cam and it's something that I really enjoy doing. I need to finish watching the one on the flowers so I can add them to the hanger. Thank you though for making this video appreciate it!
More power to you all! Not my thing, I'd rather knit socks!!! Thus bought those expensive what's her name hangers, over 10 years ago 😁 they still look like new unlike the cheaper version..... Though I may have to dig out my crochet hooks some day and make pots rubber roses!!!!! Saved a ton of netting for that.
How cute is that?! And Mr. Rain made you crochet hooks??? Would you like a sister-wife? I think I'll adapt your idea to make padded hangers. I love that striped one for kids at college....Whatever the colors are for the school team!
This video is old but I am pretty sure I mentioned my Crochet 101 Series where I cover all those very basic steps you must learn first before going on to projects list this. Please at least watch part one where I go over that: th-cam.com/play/PLzVtTPDzFPKEzCoivfrHr1qXgPn83BeUe.html
Loved your video. You are a great instructor, easy to understand your instructions . Like you giving ideas also.
I appreciate this, thank you!

Best video ever for the crochet hanger project. Thank you for posting!
Thank you!

Great use. I’ve been crocheting for years and honestly never thought to do hangars!

Did I say I like mindless crocheting it relaxes me
@Nadine H- I agree with you. I enjoy mindless knitting and crochet. Life is too complicated to add more confusion and stress to a hobby.
I was given a box with scrap yarn and theres a pile of Pentex yarn which I hate but isd PERFECT for non slip hangers so I am so doing this!
This was a fun video. I'm thinking Christmas presents!
Very pretty! My daughter is going to make one! Thanks ❤️
Great idea thanks Heidi!
Very nice -- thank you!

O yeah, they do make those team colored variegated yarns, that would be cool!
You're incredible!!!
Love & prayers
I break the knot rule for the same reasons. Nothing more frustrating than having to fix someone else's crocheted gift. Great video.
Thank you! Going to do this right now :-)
Great idea, I have a lot of leftover yarn. Now I know what to do with it.
I'm gonna do this, seen the velvet hangers like 22 dollars, no way I'll make my own.... thank you
Plus I'm wondering if you are going to put together a book. :-)
Hopefully some day if time ever allows :)
I wanted to ask you a ? Do you have the plant called horse tail?
I think I will have to view this again lol
I think I can do this, except not sure I am skilled enough for the flower
Can you do an up close video of that. I can't find any like it. So I can see up close. 😀
Maybe done day I will redo it. Old video, poor camera techniques and lighting back then
Flower pattern?

You’re working in the shade. Can’t see what you are doing
I realized this too late and I apologize, did my best to brighten the picture.
It's good information but it's in the shadows, I can't see what's happening 🤷♀️
Sorry, old video and I did not have the lighting or editor to properly brighten things up back then.
You didn’t even show the process….you just took off not showing how to place the hook or anything. For us just starting we need a little more 😢
