Hi, I've just discovered you and I'm so pleased I have. What a great little project. I'm disabled so I don't get to go away overly much but these would still be useful at home. Thank you so much for sharing this video, best wishes, from Annie :)
I don't think so. When it first comes up on my screen it is showing at 73% so will have to be adjusted to 100%, but I don't have a working printer here to check sadly. You can always extend the diagonals to the length of your coat hanger shoulders for a perfect fit, c x
@@SewistChannel thank you. I found that if I go to the website it prints out actual size. If I print from the link here it’s got to be enlarged. Probably just me. 🤪 Thanks! Working on some today for son’s wedding guests in July! I love it!
That's strange, I'm pretty sure I originally drew it on A4 but looking at the pdf now it seems there is extra space round the edges. Does it print out over two sheets if it's at 100% (sorry, not got a working printer to try this right now)? Alternatively, if you can see the structure from your screen you can make your own template by drawing round your chosen coat hanger and adding a seam allowance. Sorry, that's not an ideal solution for you but hopefully you can make it work, c x
great idea but i wasted over 30 sheets of paper trying to get te correct pattern but it didn't work. so I ended up making my own template. good idea though
I love your tutorials plus you make me smile with your commentary
Thank you, glad you like them, c x
Thank u. Great idea. I put Velcro on the top of the pockets to hold my objects inside.
They would be fabulous gifts for any occasion.❤
Wish I'd seen this before the holidays. Will make them anyway. Love this idea
I think that it would make a great place to store a Diary or Journal, just make it to fit the book. And it would be safe from prying eyes💖
Great Idea!! Love it! I think I would use some iron on stabilizer on back piece on one side to make it look neater. What do you think?
Yes, stabiliser would give the finished piece a crispness, especially if you're putting heavy things in the pockets, c x

Thank you Annie, they're also handy for just storing toiletries etc on a hook in the bathroom, c x
This project looks like fun.
Once you get the hang of how it goes together you can make it however you need, c x

@@SewistChannel Thank you. This will make lovely gifts.
It looks great. I want to try it. but where is the template? Am i looking in the wrong place?
Sorry Robyn, bear with us, we forgot to upload it, c x
It's there now Robyn, or you can click here for it... aplimages.s3.amazonaws.com/_sew/Sewist/coat-hanger-safe.pdf
@@SewistChannel Thank you😍👍👌
Is there an enlarge % necessary for this?
I just went to print this out and it is miniature.
Sorry for the delayed reply. Did you check the document was set to 100%? c x
Is the template enlarged 150% ?
I don't think so. When it first comes up on my screen it is showing at 73% so will have to be adjusted to 100%, but I don't have a working printer here to check sadly. You can always extend the diagonals to the length of your coat hanger shoulders for a perfect fit, c x

@@janinemartin7024 thanks for letting me know. That's a bit weird but glad you got it sorted. Have fun in July c x
template is not made for A4 paper it seems.
