The trauma & emotional burden he's carrying is something I see all the time. @@mhutch5082You might sound different too if it was your loved one who died or committed murder. It is easy for people to judge others because we are not experiencing what has happened. Additionally, it is okay to have some understanding or sympathy for those who committed crimes. It does not mean the person condones the crime committed. It just means we do not have to resort to hating someone who makes very very evil decisions. Fortunately, when we serve on a jury, we have to make decisions based on facts and what is lawful or expected by the courts. I have a feeling you might never serve on jury. Now having to testify this poor man not only already has trauma written all over his face from this, but now will fear for his safety and his life/ his loved ones lives, all because they wanted him to take the stand. :( I think for cases like these, they need to have witnesses speak/talk/take the stand and have both parties question him/ interrogate or whatever you call it, getting his testimony BUT without the KILLER IN THE ROOM who is able to identify this innocent man.

    • @CarrieAnn77
      @CarrieAnn77 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      Unfortunately there's no way to do that. Because in the Constitution of the United States you have the right to face your accuser. So, that's why the witness protection program was created. Especially during like the RICO Act and when people were testifying against mob bosses and whatnot. However, it's still unfair.. because you take the stand to help out the state and you lose your entire life. And in some cases people wanted that. But in cases like this witness protection isn't even afforded to these people. It's usually only in federal cases. And these kids probably wouldn't want that anyways. Because what they have and the only life they know would then be taken away again. And they're also doing time so they're in prison anyways. At least in most of these cases. They don't get off scott free for testifying. So testifying and doing the right thing is also a lose-lose situation for a lot of these people. And it's sad. There should be another way. Especially when it's people this young that make awful decisions but they came from awful situations to begin with.

They were framed to make them complicit in the crime and to give the actual killer leverage over them if things went South. The system noticed that these misguided and easily-manipulated youngins were all “friends” with each other for lesser criminal activities and decided it was fitting to label these 2 victims on an equal category as a psychopathic narcissistic manipulative gangster hitman/serial killer/child killer.

      Louisville, KY is full with addicts and I'm not judging because I have family and friends there. A lot of people go there for their sobriety.

    This hurt my heart because he was so remorseful about what happened he did not want to be apart of this crime but he was terrified of the monster that had control of them

    The fear and pain in his eyes are so noticeable it’s sad. That dude manipulated a bunch of kids and now has them in a huge mess. Prayers to the victims family 🙏🏽

    Imagine if Brice was a positive male role model for these kids . All of their outcomes would’ve been different. It starts with him and the lack there of of parenting and positive role models in the home and environment. Brice probably grew up in the same circumstances and turnt out the way he did. These kids aren’t “killas” , they all are victims of circumstance, influence and environment . Far as Brice , he has a lot of demon in him , no love or compassion at all. That’s a killa”

      Brice Rhodes had a happy upbringing with his father & stepmother. You should watch the stepmother’s witness statement.

    Has anyone asked themselves the question on how Brice even knew these two brothers. Maurice and Larry were introduced to Brice by their mother who thought Brice would put some money in their pockets. She’s a previous gang member herself and influenced her sons to be apart of the same life she was living. Shes not innocent and should be on trial just as much as Brice, they questioned the other boy on the stand about a phone call he overheard between Brice and Elizabeth Marie wren, that call wasn’t about the boys being involved in the shooting but that Brice didn’t break them off the cut he told them he would. Don’t believe me look her up and see for yourself.

      Exactly what I’m dealing with right now. The courts see these “mothers” crying in court and forget to investigate them too. My husband was killed by his brother and father because his mother said the brother didn’t have to give him his car back after stealing it. Nasty work!!! These “mothers” be too involved with the street life themselves smh all grownups need to be charged and convicted!

    What do you do when your young and being forced to take part in a brutal murder because if you don't participate it's going to be your life aswell? Nobody wants to die like that but if your in the wrong place at the wrong time it's do as your told or fight or flight and that was never going to happen.

      @ceasarwright7567 he was more innocent than the others including their mother if you want to look at it that way. Also we don't know who, how or what their minds were besides children. If they acted alone I'd blame them to a certainextent. There are too many adults that failed these children & greatly.
