I first heard this on WQXR about 12 years ago, tuning in just as that snatch of a Chasidic melody playing on the cello (about 9:14 in this recording.) This is a superb, fun, toe-tapping composition, thoroughly enjoyable. Lively performance! As an aside, only the cellist looked like she was having fun. The other two were working kinda hard.
This piece is new to me and you have played it superbly!! I love coming across good music I have never heard before and so well played. Thank you!!! I shall have to visit your website.... :-)
