Good luck and have fun! Definitely takes time to get in the fingers, especially the left hand in the last movement, but it’s so much fun, especially if you have wonderful string partners like I did!
Extraordinary piece, extraordinary musicianship all, esp. the cellist who is a dexterous devil on the quick passages in the last movement. I heard this piece last week on WQXR and had to find a recording as I want to gather some momentum from friends to hopefully hear it live-performed in NYC.
Shell out the 60 bucks. Selling their music is how composers make a living, you know. You don't expect the chef to give you free food. You don't expect your hairdresser to give you a free haircut.
Hi Matt, thanks for the nice comment. I played the piece around 20 times with Paul in the early nineties, mostly with Andy Jennings but also with Lev Polyakin, one of the concertmasters in The Cleveland Orchestra. You guys sound good too!
I waited in my car for like 15 minutes for the song to end to get the name. Well worth the wait. Amazing performance!
Did exactly the same, in car, waiting..had to know. Now a massive lover of this piece.
Really intense cafe music. It'd take me an extra 15 mins to finish the food I ordered cause I'd be distracted by the cool passages.
A most elegant violin interpretation. All of you, gorgeous and refreshing version.
What a lot of fun. Thanks Matthew. Fabulous performance
What a sparkling gem of a performance.
I’m not sure how anyone plays this! I just received the music and beginning the work on it. I’ll check back in two years!

Whoa. This is better than most (ok, all) recordings of this piece. Freakin fantastic.
Es un hermoso tema, y fue una interpretación demasiado espectacular ❤❤❤

Oh, how badly I want to play this piece. . .
AWESOME performance!!!
Wonderful!
בהחלט מוזיקה נעימה וקומוניקטיבית שמנוגנת היטב.
Looking for free downloading music sheet for this piece, would be awesome if anyone can tell me where to find it:) thanks!!
Your best bet might be inter-library loan, or shell out almost $60 for it.

Thanks for sending, you all sound fantastic! Our group was fortunate enough to be coached by the composer when I was a student at Michigan.
