i just brought the same gun and I also already have the g19 non blowback and after watching this it's like you said every little thing I thought. loved the review and can tell how much you actually appreciate the gun thanks man. :)
Unfortunately, mine jammed after about 4 uses. My RFD said they'd been discontinued, so I wound up swapping it for store credit on a PP700SA.
I own this very gun. As well as a few other co2 pellet guns.
The Glock Is fantastic to plink with. the feel of the gun is really nice.
I was also disappointed it isn't field stripable and also disappointed that the trigger safety isn't fully functional on this model.
However the overall user experience of the gun still has me smiling from ear to ear every time I load a fresh co2 and fire off a fast 8

The black plastic mag is for steel bbs
Would like to see a day we get our gun rights back so we can buy the real thing and not rely on replicas. Nice gun though.
You can, with some caveats, buy the real thing still..

Warming, when CO2 is low in this, pellets don't have enough power to fire out and can get stuck...so yeah
I want to know. If it has the same takedown and parts as the airsoft blockback Verizon could change the inner barrel and replace the magazine so it can fire 6mm plastic bbs

Yes bro looking on getting one from aladins cave wanting £199 for it tho. Got my passport the other day an got payed my wages the same day could of got it then but ordered fishing stuff before it came
Had one, sold within 3 weeks, the half finished box with padding starts off the very poor quality and the WORST trigger ever on a pistol. Also a pot tin slide which sounds cheap n nasty, and not field strippable. When you release the mag the black plastic bb wheel drops out on its own, best one by far is the gen4 bb as much better quality and the slide sounds better and the polymer frame seems better quality too.
All pointed out in video besides the gen4 part, I'd choose the first 19 non blowback over this, but loving the glock brand I'd happily own all. Just shoot the 19 and gen4 17 bb lol
The "half built box" is a genuine Glock case, exactly as you'd get with the firearm.

But yeah. Love to shoot it even though.
Great kick on this dual-ammo G17 - and better accuracy than on the gen4 BB. My gen4 BB shot unacceptably low - and the recoil was kinaa sloppy (as on an airsoft pistol - which kinda also does not surprise me because of it's build)..

One question please: does the blowback effect work with the 8C .177 pellets also or it works only using 4.5 mm BB?
It's primarily a pellet gun, yes with either ammo the blowback works, the ammo type has no bearing on that.
I have a few co2 pistols and to be perfectly honest i have this pistol and it utterly appalling and the worst of the lot. Ok it looks the part and you get a plastic Glock box with it, but stops there. Slide rattled is terrible, trigger pull is the worst i have used on a pistol. The sights are bad, BB's & pellets never consistent, Power droppage after the first mag shot, i only get 35 ish decent shots to a canister (& not its not leaking either). Plastic mag wear common and pellets and BBs start to just fall out. Terrible pistol compared to what is out there for £200-ish.
I have a Umerex SA-10 duel ammo that is not only cheaper but runs rings around this Glock and is far far better to shot and enjoy. This version of the Glock 17 dual ammo is a 4-10 pistol for what it is and its faults. price etc. The trigger really is bad, and i can not over look how tinny and rattily that slide is. Not field strippable either, no slide lock after last shot and a abysmal very very difficult and stiff slide safety under the barrel in front of the trigger, which is unaffected and still stiff even by being oiled. The strictly just BB version of the Glock 17 is much better. Slide lock after last shot, field strippable, better trigger and safety and much better fun and value all round. Just my opinion on owning this overpriced tat. So many better pistols out there for the money and cheaper 👍🏻
Do you know how to dismantle the slide?
It is sadly not field strippable. The Gen4 bb version is I believe but I'm yet to get one in for review.
I had this pistol for 2 weeks before the seal started leaking.
The slide rattled, the but plate moved on its own & overall the build quality was poor.
I contacted umarex they did not want to know, terrible customer service.
Made by KWC in Taiwan …. STEER CLEAR OF THIS RUBBISH!
KWC isnt actually bad and Umarex is German.
