    This is just an awesome replica. One of the finest replica-wise imo. It is sturdy solid, has weight, good slide fit and stiff slide spring. The barrel is just way wiggly. My both m92A1s shot low-right. The other one is semi-auto-only -version. But by adding a couple slips of black electrical tape within the front of the slide, underneath the barrel - the barrel will be centered and shoot tighter. Getting coin sized groupholes now on bullseye from 6 metres without aiming deliberately off anywhere.

      Mine does the same thing. On my gun, it's very consistent low right just like yours. For now I just compensate by changing my point of aim high right, but I would like to fix this with the electrical tape idea. Someone should make a video on how to best do this. By the way, this is my second m92A1 from umarex that shoots identical. I'm going to try your idea though as it's easily reversible and I can experiment until I get the barrel dialed in.

      @@PaulsToolReview Has worked well for me. Just clean surfaces well before adding tape. And use good tape. My tape slips are still in there after all these years.

    It seems like it would be a good "yard practice" representation of a regular CCW M9, and the neighbors won't complain about the noise.
    It's hard to find a range that will allow you to quick draw from a holster, so this seems like a good alternative to snap caps, or going out to the boonies.

    Beautiful pistol, if someone complain about accuracy, simple you can’t aiming properly. From 10m piercing both sides 0,5L beer bottle without crashing in it. Great fun. Buy one with fullauto for extra fun. You will not regret it. Make sure you have plenty of co2 cartridges

    i got this for christmas, its very picky on the bb's you use and have to tightem the co2 exactly right, but boy is it fun!!!!!! Only other thing I have to say is when you're almost empty on air, single fire will shoot full auto.

    Another way to get rid of the white lettering is to use some cold blue. It wipes the paint right off. I used it for my Springfield Arms 1911

    I recently acquired this airgun from Umarex (KWC). And out of the box (yes a nice cardboard box, no horrible plastic clamshell thankfully), it was rather dry. I lubricated it properly. But still was shooting very low (4 inches low at 30 feet). So I stripped it, and found a hop-up adjustment (not mentioned in the documentation) inside the slide. Several turns of the screw later it is now almost perfectly centered. Of course, it's not an extremely precise airgun because of the way the barrel is designed, but it's now much better. I love the safety/de-cocker like on the real deal.
    I thought I'd let you know about the hop-up adjustment because many people complained about the inaccuracy straight out of the box.

    • @seattlejdmcivic

      Man is there anyway you could send me pictures of this adjustment that you're talking about I'm getting ready to purchase this gun I have the semi-auto version of this but I've been really wanting to get a blowback action one and I really want to be able to teach my younger sister with the blowback action one because it is more realistic at least until she's ready to actually go to the range and shoot my real Beretta 92fs but I really want to purchase this gun and if there's a way to take it apart make it more accurate if there's any way I could give you my social media or number or email or something and you could send me pictures or a video of how you did it it would be greatly greatly greatly appreciated

    Hello, recently bought this exact model and I'm having trouble with the slide going forward. Completely new to replica firearms and real firearms for that matter. When I shoot the slide goes back and gets locked by the slide stop, every single time. The only way I could get it to function normally was to hold the slide stop down with my thumb while operating it. Could somebody tell me if I'm doing anything wrong haha. Also, amazingly informative video!

  • @ozzie444
    @ozzie444 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Yes the white lettering is obnoxious and spoils the esthetics of the gun. You should be able to mask off the white lettered area and squirt a few light passes of the black Krylon till the white lettering is gone then right after using a clean rag with varsol or paint thinner wipe off any overspray on the slide and the lettering will stay black. I've done this with other items so it should work OK. Crossman has a similar full auto blowback model and they advertise it as having 400 fps velocity. It also comes with a red dot laser. Have you checked it out?

  • @Reviewerhn

    • @AirgunDetectives
      @AirgunDetectives  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Actually it moved in all the shots. If not, a bb could have not been chambered and it would not cock the hammer. It needs the blowback to move the slide to reset the hammer each time. I think the slide was slower in the beginning but it definitely worked on all the shots. Thank you for watching 👍

    Just bought this gun, it's semi auto only, but the cut out at the top of the grip for the full auto lever is there, I wonder if they just removed the little lever for my market (UK) and it may still have the full auto function hidden away 🤔🤔🤔

      I would guess they probably did...🎅

    • @brandonbrook9664
      @brandonbrook9664 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would suspect it's 'full auto' function is more internaly disabled than just the removal of of the function switch lever. Given the fact that 'full auto' function is banned throughout most Western countries, it's entirely possible that certain internals are manufactured 'market specific' to satisfy import restrictions..... especially in the case of replica airguns.
      If it were as easy as only adding a simple missing lever or switch, everyone in the UK who'd ever bought a 'semi-auto only' version Crosman DPMS SBR would have figured it out within days of purchase. At 430 fps, full auto 25 shot mag dumps at a rate of 1400 tounds per minute is way more fun than semi-auto. A one second full mag dump translates to every shot hits the soda can before it's even had time to explode.

    Great review as usual! Quick question, I just received my brand new Bretta in mail and see some faded paint on the slide where the blowback occurs. Is this normal for a brand new item out of box? Are these guns factory fire tested and that could be the reason? Thanks!

    • @AirgunDetectives
      @AirgunDetectives  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Normally, it should look brand new with no scratched or wear marks. I would test fire it and see how well it shoots, especially check how the sights line up at point of aim. If it is a great shooter than consider some flat black paint for touch up. If it doesn't shoot well send it back for an exchange. Label it defective. 👍

    While I've occaisionally heard overhead aircraft in the background in some of your reviews, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised to now discover you also have an executive jet and your own private runway.
    Great review as always, but I'm curious..... how much aviation fuel did your Gulfstream or Leer jet burn at runway idle for at least the first 5 minutes of the video?

The random location intro clips are a really nice touch!

I'll put a couple of trinkets with message adressed to Airgun Detectives in a bottle and toss it into the Columbia River system (north of the 49th) when I'm fishin' this afternoon on Kootenay Lake. Not sure how long before it'll reach the Pacific at Portland and then drift your way South towards the Baja. Maybe keep an eye open for it washed up on the sand if you're out for a beach stroll in mid-to late August.

    Great video. FWIW, I just subscribed. Questions: 1. Can you purchase extra magazines from UMAREX? 2. I'm new to using CO2, so once the cylinder is punctured, how long will its gas be retained? Many thanks.

    • @AirgunDetectives
      @AirgunDetectives  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, they do sell spare magazines. You really only want to leave the Co2 in these style magazines for no more than 24-48 hours. I usually shoot the pistol and remove the empty Co2 by the end of the day. The reason is the Co2 capsule is forced against the seal with pressure from the piercing screw. This crushes the seal. So if you leave the Co2 in the magazine for an extended period of time it can ruin the seal. There are styles of Co2 rifles you can leave the Co2 in with no issues. Usually the rifles that hold two Co2's where the gas is released into a chamber. They seal with an O-ring in a different manner. Happy Shooting 👍
