For a long time I would get bogged down in the kitchen. I love to experiment and learn new recipes -- which is great until my ambitions exceeded my available time & energy. It makes no sense to be up late at night cooking up a storm (or cleaning up from said storm!) once the babies are finally asleep.
So, overtime I've learned that having a MEAL STRATEGY (instead of an elaborate menu plan) can be so helpful!
    1. Create a binder of all of your family's favorite recipes that they will actually eat. I did this last summer and it has been SUPER helpful for getting kids involved in the kitchen!
    2. Pick a theme for several nights per week. Meatball Monday, Taco Tuesday, Homemade Pizza Friday -- alliteration helps :)
    3. Implement simple mealtime routines. For example, everyone has a job when supper is over so the mess is cleaned up before bed.

    1. Ninja blender with single serve option (for making amazing protein shakes!)
