I am a pregnant mom [ 24 weeks pregnant] and I have two sons, aged 4 and 5. My boys eat like big men...i was exhausted by keeping up with feeding my boys and preparing for an upcoming baby a.k.a " nesting" ...your video made my day. Thank you!!! Sending love from metro Detroit, MI.
My daughter and I just made breakfast freezer meals! 2 casseroles (each divided into 6 servings), sausage (chorizo) and egg burritos, hash brown egg muffins. She took half home for a quick breakfast before work. Today I'm doing mini waffles and pancakes. When you're 77 and retired, cooking is what you do 😊
Hi Becky! Retired and living the good life at 77 years young! I cannot tell you how much your daughter appreciated those meals and your help because I know how much of a blessing my folks are to me (also retired) when they visit and help out in the same way you mentioned. God bless you for stewarding your family so well!
It’s totally how I cook. When I was young my grandma would say, “Honey I can tell you the ingredients but if you want a ‘recipe’ you betta come in this kitchen and watch me make it” 😂 I totally get it now, it’s all about look and feel. Plus each of these recipes do not require you to be precise to turn out great!
Oh my gosh, incredible. Please can you add links to your lunch box, your silicone bags, silicone muffin trays, skewers, I realize this is a lot, but you are so organized and resourceful that I feel the need to tap therein of gold.
Here is a little show stopper for a get together. Line your cast iron skillet with your bacon strips. Letting the ends run up the sides. All around the skillet and criss crossing the center. Then pour in your favorite cornbread recipe. The bacon will cook crispy and brown on the bottom and flavor your cornbread. When you take it out the oven flip it where the browned bacon will be on top. And the bacon will have the wonderful crunch when you slice the cornbread. You can add the sausage and corn to cornbread as well. All your favorite things. It will almost make it like a meal in a pan.
OK now THIS one is my favorite!!! I think I said that last time, but you consistently out do yourself Cassandra!!! I'm terrible at making sure breakfast is a thing, so these tips and delicious recipes are EXACTLY what I needed today!!! Thank you so much!!! 🎉❤🥰🥰🥰
Haha, Sara you know how to lay the flattery on thick don’t ya! I was in the same boat, which is why I mainly stick with oatmeal but there are times I just need something to throw in my work bag and get out the door! Sometimes I like something a bit more savory or veggie based so the spectrum I shared here is a collection of my go-to’s! So glad you found this helpful.
Last night my husband asked me what I had planned for today. I watched this awesomely wonderful video this morning and now I know the answer to last night's question. Make ahead scratch breakfast freezer meals. Grandchildren will be here next to spend "Spring Break" with us and I am not going to be in the kitchen cooking all the time. Thank you for sharing your incredible knowledge with us. Have a blessed weekend.
Just discovered your channel and love that you are sharing your skills! As a long-time meal prepper, you can also bake your scrambled eggs in a greased brownie pan and cut them into squares for breakfast sandwiches.❤
@sunnyemmerich5860 My family likes custardy eggs, so I do about 7-8 eggs and a touch of cream, salt and pepper and bake them at 325 F. Depends on the volume of the eggs, but around 10 mins or until they are set enough to hold their shape when cut.
You knocked it out of the park with this one, Cassandra! So many fantastic and delicious ideas that it’s hard to decide which to try first. I like that these recipes are easily adapted to meet dietary needs. Thank you mucho!
Finally! Someone who doesn’t like COLD overnight oatmeals!!! I like oatmeals but only when it’s warm. Thank you very much for your brilliant ideas. Love the sausage cornbread muffins and homemade corn dogs, and coffee filter ideas!!
As a new diabetic, I have to eat regular meals now, so these quick make ahead brekkie ideas are just what I needed to get me eating reliably in the morning. I love the grama style as well, since I'm a visual learner and this method works best for me. Thank you so much!
These would be good to take camping as that's probably the only time we eat breakfast. Another good recipe here, Cassandra. Glad I found you on you tube. Thank you so much.
Excellent! I love how you've created so many instant hot meals. So many meal prep recipes out there are for cold meals, but I can't stomach them, and I don't want tp be feeding my kids cold breakfasts. This is perfect!
I am a new house wife, I love it here, and I want to keep my husband lol. I think learning how to do things like this will definitely help! I also love how you make some things from scratch. Thank you for your channel and very informative content. ❤
Hi Cassandra, this is a fantastic video. Great job. My daughter and I have been watching your videos for several months now and we have enjoyed every one. My daughter has tried multiple recipes. I eat a plant based diet but I still love to watch. The oatmeal recipe you used here will be a game changer for me. Thank you. Please keep the great cooking ideas coming!
Hello sweet friend! Awww, this was so sweet for me to read. I am so glad that you're able to adapt the recipes I share to your diet preferences. And honey, yes, you know that I love my weekday morning oatmeal so Ive explored nearly every option on how to prepare it. With my work schedule I've figured that I can manage posting a video every 8-10 days. Please say hello to your daughter for me!
I love that I've been at this for years, but your take on things is just a bit different than mine and I come away inspired with new recipes. Brilliant.
I just discovered your videos. The content and recipes are fantastic. You’re such an inspiration. I plan on making several of your breakfast meal preps.
Oh, wow, I just found your channel and I'm so glad I did. You're a genius! Seriously, I watch a lot, A LOT of batch cooking/meal prepping videos, and yours is actually one of the few with recipes that I might actually dare to make. You just gained a new subscriber! 💜
GURRL....YOU ARE A LIFE AND DEFINITELY TIME SAVER ! YOU HAVE REINVENTED COOKING FOR ME, AND I'M SO THANKFUL I FOUND YOU. I EAT AND LIVE A LOT HEALTHIER NOW BECAUSE OF YOU (AND BECAUSE OF THIS, I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DISCONTINUE MY HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE MEDICATION - YAY)!! I LIVE IN AN APARTMENT AND GROW MY FOOD, WHICH HAS SUBSTANTIALLY CUT MY GROCERY BILL. THANK YOU, YOUNG LADY FOR SHOWING ME WHAT WORKS. MANY BLESSINGS TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY AND COMMUNITY🌻🌱🌻
the endless possibilities?!!?!? I FINALLY bought some of these silicone cupcake pans and my kids loved the egg bites, but this honey will have them never bored! Thanks for all the tips and recipes!
Thank you SO much for these great recipes! They’re unique! We homeschool and having quick ready to go breakfasts make our whole day run more smoothly. Since I am homeschooling five kids who also do almost year round sports, there is never a slow time. I like to take a large chunk of time to food prep on Sundays after church and these are just such good ideas. I truly appreciate them. Maybe having these prepped will allow me to get some morning workouts in while my kids do their morning farm chores. ❤
I'm a mom of 3 and work about 50 hours a week. This is the best breakfast tutorial i have found. Between getting the 3 out the door, getting myself ready, and 4 animals to also feed, this is a huge help!! Thank you so much!!
I’ve watched dozens of freezer breakfast meal videos, and they all make the same 6-10 meals. Yours are so unique! I snagged several recipes for my next batch cooking session.
Hi Cassandra, I have wondered about making sausage on a stick. My husband loves this as a quick breakfast and I have watched that item go up in price (along with many others). He likes the blueberry pancake and I have passively wondered if I could make something less artificial and less expensive for him. Thank you, thank you! I hope you've had a good week!
Hello 👋🏾 C P! You can absolutely make these at home! They are very easy md come together pretty quickly. Make sure your oil is warm but not so hot things splatter and don’t overcrowd your pan. The markup for what these are is incredibly expensive so your husband will love that you can now make them at home. I’d even add dried blueberries to the batter if that his preference!
Wonderful ideas. Even though we're retired empty nesters, having a quick heat & eat breakfast (and really, these can be enjoyed for any meal) could help me not resort to scrounging around for the quickest thing I can find - which usually isn't the healthiest. This happens when I'm super hungry, perhaps have been gone all day, and/or when I'm tired. I especially love the lower carb ideas here, but they all look great! The squash and egg muffins are genius. 😋
I spent NYD 2024 prepping the breakfasts in this video. Creating a plan is the hardest part thank you for doing that for me! You are a great mentor, and mentors make life a little easier. I'm really happy to have found your channel. Happy 2024!
GIRL!!! Those breakfasts look phenomenal! I'm going to do up a ton of these this weekend. I've recently fallen into the habit of getting something out on the way to work for breakfast, and I definitely need to quit that! I need to know how or what recipe/method you used for canning up your ham and crumbled sausage (and patties), because those look so much better than any I've ever seen. So I've never canned up any ground meat, just because everyone's I've seen just doesn't really look appetizing on camera. Do tell!!
Girlfriend, you had me at cornbread for sure!! You are a genius with all these ideas! Can't wait to get in the kitchen tomorrow and start making some breakfast freezer meals. My husband says thank you so much for inspiring me. 😂
I love these breakfast ideas! I have to take a handful of medication every morning and am supposed to eat with them, but I am not a morning person so if I don't have something pre-made I tend to skip breakfast. I can't t wait to try these revipes. Thank you so much!
Thank you, and God Bless. I just got a break bleeder. It works amazing. My foodsaver is probably 30 years old and doesn't always work. I'm 70 and not the strongest, but the BB works beautifully .
Wow! Such good ideas! I will certainly implement some of these! It’s kind of ridiculous how hard it is to pull together breakfast for my kids before school.
Hey Cassandra, I just wanted to thank you for the wonderful content that you put out it is a big help for a beginner like me. You’re a very big inspiration to what I’ve been doing lately for my family. Thank you.
Hi Suzanna! This blesses my heart immeasurably! Even with limited time, there are ways you can still put meals on the table that are delicious, healthy and cost-effective. I so appreciate that you join me in my lil’ kitchen. This weekend I’ll be posting a quick bread recipe (regular and gluten free). Blessings to you and yours! ☺️
Omg!!! Where have your channel been?! It came up in my tread today and I’m blown away by it!!! For me it’s a “one stop shop kinda modern homestead channel with a twist of urban flare! I know I’m all hyped up but it’s a perfect fit for my new lifestyle! 😂 I love it!!! Thanks so much for your hard word! 🥰
Ok now I really believe you’re a GENIUS. I have been delving into homesteading recently and I make everything and will start a garden soon. You make everything so much easier to understand plus your personality is amazing. Just started binging your channel lol
Hello friend! Aww, thank you so much. Learning to cook from scratch and preserve my own ingredients has been one of the most rewarding parts I’ve experienced as I’ve started my homestead journey. You can do it! Little by little the steps you take add up!! Keep becoming a farm girl!
This is the first video I have seen from you and I am sold! You are so personable and the food you made looks so yummy and easy to make so THIS IS EVERYTHING! thank you!
OMG Cassandra, your energy is contagious. I love watching your videos they are very inspiring ❤️. Thanks for more things to add to my repertoire. The canned sausage patty, do you have a video of that process?
Some great ideas here! I'm just starting to become a very small scale homestead and cook/freeze meals in bulk. I love the mini waffle idea in the muffin tins...never thought of that and I'm trying to keep it interesting for my fam.
this is my first time watching one of your videos and i'm barely 2 minutes in and already a) you are so lovely but i'm being nosey looking at your living room behind you because that is a very enviable space, and b) thank youuuuu for doing recipes like this!!! the things you're talking about, like look and feel and eyeballing measurements, that's the fun of cooking and how home cooks get better and more flexible!
Hi Lynn! There is no sense in letting all that flavor go to waste, especially if you cook with cast iron! I just use an oven rack from my small toaster ove . Works like a charm!
WHOA!!! These are awesome! I'm not a breakfast eater, but these would make great light lunches or suppers. I could also see trays of these at a brunch. Thanks so much for sharing! Definitely keepers!
Hi Dannie! You’ve got the right idea! There have been plenty of times when I whip out the sausage muffins or hash brown cups for dinner when I just don’t have the energy to cook any thing. So glad you found a few ideas you might enjoy!
Winner - winner -chicken dinner!🎉🎊 I ❤ the ideas you've shared here! They're new and exciting! I will definitely be giving some of these a try! Thank you so much!
Wow, not only r u giving some outstanding from scratch healthier alternatives that we can make ahead, but they also taste amazing! Each of these ideas r sooooo much tastier and better than anything premade from the grocery. Mornings r always this difficult time of the day u want to offer the very best to ur family, but u just don’t have time! These will bring out the very best everyday. Thk u so much for sharing ❤
Wow, just wow! I am so thankful I found your channel. You're making my life easier every day. I'm trying to get us off the store bought box cereal hamster wheel. We are full time farmers, with all the resources we could dream of...but time...there's the challenge. Do I want to cook a full breakfast when we're milking and bottle feeding calves, doing chores, moving(we're in the middle of moving our farm back to our original spot so we can give the big farmhouse and yard to the younger generation), and all the other things that keep us wildly busy during the days? I love to take a day and prepare lots so I can just work and heat up something wonderful for meals....ha ha, I've shocked some of the workers that came here to do jobs with some pretty fabulous things in minutes now that I've been watching you.
Hello friend! I am so happy to hear that you enjoy some of the meals I’ve shared as much as my family does. I hear you on the cereal; we had to give that up years ago because it’s so expensive for what you get. My hubby eats it by the bowlful not the serving size so he’d go through a box every 2 days or so. Now those boxes are shrinking!! Each of these recipes freeze beautiful and, as I mentioned the key is to have extra batter on hand to make the next go round easier. Your property sounds stunning!
Hello! I just ran across your channel. Since I love freezer meals, I clicked on to watch. And boy am I glad I did! Each dish was so inviting, presentation so awesome, that as soon as I get a few more of the ingredients I'm making these!😊I can tell you enjoy what you do, by your enthusiasm and cheerfulness, it shows up in your voice. This is my first time seeing and checking out your channel. I enjoyed it so much, I subscribed. So I guess I'll be binge watching. LOL! Can't wait to see what's next!🤗Thanks much!❤
Love these ideas and the emphasis on modifying according to what you have on hand! Shared with my sisters who have little ones. I think the green eggs and ham cups would be so fun for Dr. Seuss Day!
Hey Cassandra, I love your videos, they are so helpful to me, being a new gardener and canner I am learning so much from you. I like how you pinch pennies and I’m like you I’m in a place where i pretty much shape sales but my downfall is aside from being a picky eater I’m doing keto as well so my choices are pretty limited for now! I was able to go to the farm and pick greens and pole beans to have on the shelves since my beans didn’t do good at all! I love all your ideas and let me tell you every since I watched you do maintenance on your heater I wanted one and found a new one last weekend at an estate sale it was $200.00 on Friday so I went back Sunday and got it for $40.00 girl was I thanking Jesus! I love you hair thanks for sharing with us you are so appreciated! Blessings to you and your family! Poonie!
Hello Ms. P! Thank you for saying hello! I absolutely pinch my pennies and not only does it save money, but darling these are REAL ingredients that add so much flavor to your meals. My dad is also keto and so when he comes up I have to modify recipes (but he makes a few exceptions). I am so happy that you found Perfection Kerosene heater!!! The peace of mind from having one in the event of an emergency (and the ability to easily maintain it which cannot be said of the new ones on the market) is invaluable. $40.00! What a blessing! Ain't God GOOD?!
Some people may say “why not use instant oatmeal?” Well, once you start eating properly prepared, whole & truly healthy food you FEEL different. I love that you use Anchor Hocking (switched when I found out Pyrex contains lead) and Redmond’s! Love your channel 💜
@@karenkollmer I just mean that there are instant flavored oatmeals with nasty ingredients. I appreciate you though, doesn’t Azure do bulk? I’ve been thinking of trying them out
@@IxAMxSQUISHY yes. Their brand is the one that is in bulk. Red mill does not have a monster bag. The prob with Quaker and others they have blow by Glyphosate on the oats. They don’t spray oats but other fields are and traces are found in big box and name brand oats.
How about instead of potatoes that she uses for hashbrown muffin, use the sweet potato, that's what I'm using (I'm using both actually one sweet one potato)
Just came across your channel and wow, this food looks some kind of good!!!! Love that mixed in with the recipes are tips to keep things budget friendly. You must love what you do!:) Can’t wait to watch more videos!
Wow, I love this video! I've watched sooo many meal prep videos over the years, but this one actually gave me new ideas! I am definitely subscribing. :)
This video is full of so many great ideas for easy breakfast, and they're all fairly convenient for packing to work too. Your recipe for the oatmeal is brilliant! I love the idea of adding hot water at work and it's completely ready to go. BTW, you can absolutely heat overnight oatmeal up - in fact, I prefer to since I find it's a bit too soupy if I don't. I like to put my favorite oatmeal toppings - usually blueberries & some toasted nuts - in a separate container to add after reheating at the office. The pancake-sausage-dogs are a great idea, and it occurred to me you could also bake them in muffin tins. Pancake batter bakes up really well. Maybe pour a little pancake/waffle batter in the bottom of the muffin tin, add some pre-cooked sausage (either cut up or crumbles) and top with more pancake batter, then bake. I think I'll try that soon. I'll be trying your oatmeal too!
Hi friends! If you found these recipes helpful, please share and “like”! Thank you so much! ❤Cassandra
Hi Cassandra I just love your videos. I would love to make these but can’t find the link to the recipes!

I so appreciate that you join me in my lil’ kitchen. This weekend I’ll be posting a quick bread recipe (regular and gluten free). Blessings to you and yours! ☺️
Wow! All look amazing and I’ll be adding them to my next freezer cooking opportunity! You are such a joy, thank you for sharing.
I’ve only been following you for two weeks and I am blown away at every video I watch! Thanks for all of your pearls of wisdom ❤
This is the first video I have seen from you and I am sold! You are so personable and the food you made looks so yummy and easy to make so THIS IS EVERYTHING! thank you!
I have done the breakfast burritos but never thought about adding it to my cornbread. That's a great idea.
I’m amazed at how much I learn from you, thank you!🌸
OMG Cassandra, your energy is contagious. I love watching your videos they are very inspiring ❤️. Thanks for more things to add to my repertoire. The canned sausage patty, do you have a video of that process?
Love her energy!
Some great ideas here! I'm just starting to become a very small scale homestead and cook/freeze meals in bulk. I love the mini waffle idea in the muffin tins...never thought of that and I'm trying to keep it interesting for my fam.
Wow!!! I'm definitely adding your corn muffins to my freezer meals! These look amazing and a total upgrade from my typical breakfast muffins! Thanks
Love this video!! We are having breakfast after sunrise service Sunday morning so finding this video is perfect timing!
this is my first time watching one of your videos and i'm barely 2 minutes in and already a) you are so lovely but i'm being nosey looking at your living room behind you because that is a very enviable space, and b) thank youuuuu for doing recipes like this!!! the things you're talking about, like look and feel and eyeballing measurements, that's the fun of cooking and how home cooks get better and more flexible!
I so need quick freezer meal like today. Glad I came across this video.
You’re the best! Truly appreciate your videos and your beautiful energy. Definitely trying some of these for my family this week.
Thanks Nana. These look so good. For sure going to have to make these.
LOVE the tip to let the grease drain over a skillet!! Thanks for the recipes they all sound amazing!
You are incredible! These all look so good and I would never have thought of canning sausage patties. How cool!
Love your breakfast freezer meals! So easy, and I know they are delicious. Thanks for sharing your ideas!

Yes this one is my fav!!!!!! My boys are going to love these options especially the corn dogs!!!!!
I’m obsessed with your channel.
Wow! You have some unique recipes, I can't wait to try them! I love the coffee filter idea.
The oatmeal muffins look good and the hash brown egg cups.
I love these ideas, especially the oatmeal and mini waffle cups!!!!! I am going to make those this weekend for my daughter and I to enjoy next week!!
Keep teaching sunshine. I love your spirit
A great idea, especially for young families that need to get mom, dad & kids fed and out the door to work and school.
Amen, Debbie! When it’s that kinda morning it’s nice to know all of these meals can be eaten on the go!
LOL! Can't wait to see what's next!🤗Thanks much!❤
You are going to love all of her content.
Deborah, I believe that! Thanks!
Very creative, nutritious, convenient and yummy. Love it!
Oh my gosh everything looks so amazing I'm going to be making these for my freezer meals thank you so much
This was really great ! Can’t wait to try these out . Thanks for sharing.
Love these ideas and the emphasis on modifying according to what you have on hand! Shared with my sisters who have little ones. I think the green eggs and ham cups would be so fun for Dr. Seuss Day!
You are a joy, very talented and creative. Thanks so much for motivating me with delicious recipes.
So happy to find your account . Love your personality and recipes :)
I can’t wait to try your frozen oatmeal idea! I don’t like overnight oats but this is genius! Thank you!❤❤❤❤
Cassandra you make the best, most helpful, and informative videos
Great video. Love learning tips and tricks from someone who is already doing it. Thanks!
"Grandma style". I love it! Just found your channel and really enjoy your style.
Some people may say “why not use instant oatmeal?” Well, once you start eating properly prepared, whole & truly healthy food you FEEL different. I love that you use Anchor Hocking (switched when I found out Pyrex contains lead) and Redmond’s! Love your channel 💜
Try Red Mill Oatmeal. I get a huge bag of instant from Azure. Rolled is thicker.
Correct
Your amazing, this video alone has taught me so much!! Can't wait to watch more . In trying ALL of these, I'm so excited
Fantastic ideas!. I need to concoct something using sweet potatoes. And I am proud to say I just harvested my first zucchini everrrr.
How about instead of potatoes that she uses for hashbrown muffin, use the sweet potato, that's what I'm using (I'm using both actually one sweet one potato)
@@bev.kj.8764 that is a super idea. Thanks!. Prepping it today ☺
Fantastic! You are an absolute genius at creating these oh-so-easy but tasty meals. Thanks so much for the wonderful ideas and for sharing!
I'm so happy you found a few ideas that might work for you! Each one can be customized and adjusted to the ingredients you have on hand!
Best breakfast video out there!
Hi Heather! This is incredibly kind! I’m so happy you found some meal ideas that your or your family might enjoy!
Can I just say how much of a genius you are! The spaghetti squash and oatmeal recipes!! Thank you for sharing all your tips and tricks!
Cassandra, you're recipes are awesome. Thanks 🎉🎉🎉❤
Just came across your channel and wow, this food looks some kind of good!!!! Love that mixed in with the recipes are tips to keep things budget friendly. You must love what you do!:) Can’t wait to watch more videos!
Absolutely love these recipes! I now have new recipes for the family!
Wow, I love this video! I've watched sooo many meal prep videos over the years, but this one actually gave me new ideas! I am definitely subscribing. :)
Girl these recipes are GENIUS ❤
These are great! I'm so inspired to try them all. But first, I've got to make room in my freezer
