    I just purchased during this months current "Shock" sale. Received an additional $150 off using your discount code.
    Thanks for the review & the additional saving. I'll collect it from the warehouse tomorrow.

      Great, I'm glad to be working with iTechWorld and they continue to support my viewers and subscribers with the Adventure8 discount in addition to the special discounts. Most suppliers only off either/or discount, not combined discount. Hats of to iTechWorld and I'm glad you received the extra savings.

    Great video. Can I ask where you got those plastic stackable containers from?

    • @Adventure8
      @Adventure8  ปีที่แล้ว

      Found the plastic containers on eBay. Very hard to find them in the shops.

    Hi, do you know if you can use the 240v outputs at the same time you solar charge?

    • @Adventure8
      @Adventure8  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, you can charge with solar while using 240vac.

  • @rkburton21

    Great video, answered alot of my queries. I do ask though, can you use the 12v outlets simultaneously with the 240v outlets, or is it one or the other?

    • @Adventure8
      @Adventure8  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes you can! You can charge via 240VAC and use the 12 VDC and 240VAC outlets at the same time.

      Awesome! That's got me sold, seems so much easier in a canopy than a complete hard-wired system. Thanks for the reply

    Great video, thankyou. Can you charge this from the car alternator with an anderson plug like a regular dual battery system, ie not through the cigarette plug? Do you know how many amps it gets?

    • @Adventure8
      @Adventure8  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Looking at ITechWorld website, charge rates are:
      Charger
      Wall adapter 2 hrs 1100W input
      Car adapter 11-12 hrs (15A car port)
      Solar 4 hrs (500w solar input)
      USB-C PD Max power in 60W (5-20v).
      So from the car, 12v battery is 180 watts (15 amps)

    • @chenoawatson5719
      @chenoawatson5719 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It would be good to know how it goes charging from the car via Anderson. I’m assuming it has a D/c D/c charger built in?

    • @DeltaMikeNoshoot
      @DeltaMikeNoshoot ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@chenoawatson5719 I bet it's the same. At a guess the solar can charge faster because you can put more volts in and keep the amps low. Alternator voltage won't get that high. I was hopeful you could put in more amps if you didn't use the cigarette plug but I don't think that is the case. All these power systems give fast 500w solar charging and meagre 12v charging times. They must all have 10-15 amp dc chargers in them to keep costs down.

    Just bought one myself but don’t understand what the the 12/10A and 12/25A are for seem a bit small also the jack buttons which underneath them

    • @Adventure8
      @Adventure8  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Congratulations. Yes all those connectors have their own purpose depending on the device connected. The 12V/25A socket is for a special 12V TX60 plug. The 2 smaller ports are for low power devices 5.5mm plugs. Needless to say not everyone has a need for all those ports. I mainly use the 12V/10A car port.

    As a recent purchaser of this system, I have not been able to get it to successfully fire-up a portable induction hotplate. Not the Ikea one or the Kmart one at least. Even though the power draws should be within the range running on a medium setting, it will not kick over either of the options I've tested to actually get started (and yes, both worked when plugged into mains power). A nice system and I've got it to run a large electric frypan, a toaster and an air fryer, but no luck on the induction front.

    • @Adventure8
      @Adventure8  ปีที่แล้ว

      Interesting. The single plate induction cooker I’m using starts up at 1200 watts, so no problems with either the ITechWorld PS2000 or my 1300P. What is the start up power of your induction cooker? Have you contacted ITechWorld for their opinion?

    • @thelatemail
      @thelatemail ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Adventure8 - using the Ikea one for example, it should have a range of 150-2000W (1-10 power settings) according to the manual so I'd guessed somewhere in the middle of that similar to your 1200W. I know from our household kitchen induction setup that the startup draw can be significantly higher, so I just assumed I was pushing my luck. I haven't reached out to iTechWorld since everything else worked okay.

      The canvas organiser hanging on the inside of the canopy door is from Alu-Cab. It is an accessory you can buy for the Ali-Cab Canopy Camper. I'm sure they would sell you one. You can contact Ali-Cab via their website or if in Australia, contact Ivan at peakoffroad.com.au

    @Adventure8 I've been looking at the PS2000 for a while since they came out. I thought it looked like a good handy piece of kit after seeing your unboxing video and this review video so I decided I wanted to get one. Just needed get my ... in gear and order one. LOL.
    However, I pulled the trigger today after seeing a iTechworld promotional ad on facebook. There's a deal today $2,699 which was $801 off, so I bit the bullet and ordered one.

I spoke to ITechWorld today and they confirmed there new policy is to offer some special pricing from time to time like Halloween where their discount over rides any affiliate code. All other times, my Adventure8 code gives an extra 5% discount. So you got the best price. Well done. Thanks for following my channel and commenting.
