It cannot be seen in your video because the exact moment was cut out but when the yellow pikmin finds the tin can (9:43 in your video) right before the camera change (so a couple of seconds before the clip in your video) the mud on the pikmins body resembles the body of the pokémon drowzee, down to the color of the body and mud as well as the shape and curves of the mud on its body.
