No It didn't end well because it ended on a cliffhanger It was a good episode and good Season 2 ending for if a Season 3 happened but since S3 didn't happen the episode didn't end well
I think the reason Harry was acting oblivious to Gwen's messages was so she would have to stay with him. He knew she was gonna break up with him, so he acted oblivious and used the gobulent green as a way of manipulating her into staying with him.
I used to watch that show growing up and it's honestly hard for me to see that it was cancelled after two seasons in that way... But, like you said there, it could have been a blessing in disguise all along, as we would certainly not want to see seasonal rot going on.
Spectacular Spider-Man Should've ended in Episode 13 at the End of Season 1 instead of Ending in Episode 26 in the Season 2 or better yet give a third and final Season that closes everything.
I mean that does make sense since when he was getting interviewed he was quick to say no, Norman is a smart guy he would be able to peace together that Peter actually is Spider man just like with what Captain Stacy did
This is one of those shows I regret I have never watched in great depth. I've watched a few episodes and this one as well, some flaws in the plot but overall was an epic episode 8/10 id say.
I was in elementary school when Spider-man TAS premiered and thus grew up with that version. That's what introduced to the majority of Spidey's world. However Spectacular was just fantastic in many ways. It ended up being a victim to poor timing. Had it premiered a couple years earlier, it most likely would have gotten at least two more seasons. What makes it being cut short even more of shame is that the creators had planned on doing some DTVs afterwards. Which would have focused on Peter's college years and would have contained darker stories. Including a potential adaptation of "The Night Gwen Stacy Died".
I just finished the series after a 3 day watch and this was by far a terrible ending and I was quite shocked that it ended the way it did. Norman still being alive at the end after that massive explosion that happened and I was like, what?! Too bad we won't ever get to see how that continues.
I heard that fans are trying to get this series back because of it's cliffhanger ending when Norman Osborne survived and the Venom symbiote got away. The fans are also trying to get the 90s Spider-man series back because of it's cliffhanger ending when Spiderman and Madame Web are going to find Mary Jane. The 2003 series had a cliffhanger ending too when Peter throws his suit away in the river and there's no news of another series of the 2018 series because The Lizard got away.
Let’s be real. If they do continue the series, it’s better to have it in a movie franchise by direct to video. Now that rumors of spectacular Spider-Man might appear in the two part of spider verse movie, we might to get to see more of him again.
@@SexyFace yes I want him to finish his arc still since it was too soon for him to be finished with two seasons. I think direct to video films, comic books, or video games would work if Sony can hurry up with this franchise to be over with. It’s just a pipe dream now. Maybe he will get a bigger role in beyond the spider verse.
this show needs to come back....best spider-man show ever ! samurai jack came back for a season 5 Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield came back for their roles as spider-man.....its time for spectacular spidey to make a comeback aswell...2008 seems like a lifetime ago XD was still a kid at the time almost 30 now XD but ill still watch the hell out of it if it comes out
I really hope and praying to God that there will be new seasons if The Spectacular Spider-Man animated series will finally return?! Why you all ask? Because ever since I saw episode 25 and 26 back on 2009, I was very sad & pissed that the show ended up very badly with an anticlimactic ending! And I really hope that Spider-Man from The Spectacular Spider-Man will find a way to make Felicia Hardy aka The Black Cat forgive him of his selfish revenge on her father; Walter Hardy the Cat Burglar. Cause I realized that in the grand calculus of the Multiverse, all the Ben Parkers that said to his nephew Peter “With great power, there must also come great responsibility” and that’s on the day he died. Witch means his Uncle Ben didn’t die for nothing. And I really love this version of Black Cat on The Spectacular Spider-Man, because she’s so scolding hot! And that’s all I have to say right now
So many hearts broken, Norman sneaked off to another country with who knows how many evil plans and Gwen ended up with Harry. I wouldn’t say it ended well
That one of reason why I believe spectacular spider man coming back, The fact both Sony Marvel and Disney Marvel working on Multiverse story and Spectacular Spiderman is on Disney+, I think it a sign of Disney asking us to watch spectacular Spiderman before watch Across the Spiderverse Part 1, Someone did say it confirmed Spectacular Spiderman going to be there, Not to mention someone did say unlimited going to be there as well and Unlimited spider man also on Disney+, maybe they are coming back 👀 and then after movie finished, Disney+ might be getting Disney+ original of Season 3 of spectacular Spiderman, Disney did same thing for Star Wars Clone Wars. That would be dope
I disagree a lot with these opinions on season 2. I loved it the whole way through and that ending was a great set up for season 3. It’s just so upsetting that it got axed.
I’m I the only one who notice Kraven disappears and doesn’t come back after spider man fights him with the sinister 6 it’s said he got away and there’s a mention of him in episode 10, but it’s just like where did he go? I don’t know if this was a set up for him and mysterio in season 3 but it’s like they forgot that Kraven is still out there
Im still confused on the last episode of season 2 its like the whole episode was backwards, gwen didnt have her makeover, peter and liz were back together and flash still had a broken leg. Can someone explain?
It did not end well man. Venom was still out there, the gangs ( dr octopus gang, flipping green goblin, big man , and so many other more gangsters are still out and free. It just didn’t deserve to end like that
How do you feel about Spectacular's cancellation and finale? Let me know!
The best
No It didn't end well because it ended on a cliffhanger It was a good episode and good Season 2 ending for if a Season 3 happened but since S3 didn't happen the episode didn't end well
this show was way better then the 2018 spider-man disney XD show
@@MisterPeels It came out in 2017 but yeah I agree that 2008’s Spectacular Spider-Man is better than the 2017 show
@JettHawk im happy i got it wrong that show was garbage unlike sepai I MEAN SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN
I think the reason Harry was acting oblivious to Gwen's messages was so she would have to stay with him. He knew she was gonna break up with him, so he acted oblivious and used the gobulent green as a way of manipulating her into staying with him.
That is what is implied. It shows that Harry has a manipulative streak from his father.
Agreed
If the show continued and killed off Gwen, I imagined it would be Harry's fault. If it did or will, I want to see Peter punch out Harry.
this is obvious isn’t it?
@@ashen3405 Well yeah, but the guy in the video thought it was for a different reason, so I was just clearing it up for him.
I used to watch that show growing up and it's honestly hard for me to see that it was cancelled after two seasons in that way... But, like you said there, it could have been a blessing in disguise all along, as we would certainly not want to see seasonal rot going on.
Nah I rather have a seasonal rot then it being canceled
Spectacular Spider-Man Should've ended in Episode 13 at the End of Season 1 instead of Ending in Episode 26 in the Season 2
or better yet give a third and final Season that closes everything.
RIP Kevin Conroy, this may be a Spider-Man themed video but he will still be missed
I think Norman Osborn actually knew who Spiderman was. Norman just wanted to keep his identity to himself in the show.
@Aaron Pablos yes I remember that. I think Norman did know though. I think he just didn't want to say. The look on his face kind of gave him away.
I mean that does make sense since when he was getting interviewed he was quick to say no, Norman is a smart guy he would be able to peace together that Peter actually is Spider man just like with what Captain Stacy did
My opinion it ended on a cliff hanger wanting us more but nothing will ever be worse than spider-man in the animated one throwing his suit in the bay.
It’s a great episode and a great season finale but as a series finale it’s awful

Spectacular Spiderman deserved better bruh. Great video fr
Thank you sir
I'm still holding out hope for Spectacular Spider-Man to make a comeback, despite how unlikely it is
I didn't grow up on this Spider-Man cartoon. I grew up on The Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon which was a really great series.
Ultimate Spider-Man was horrible.
@@yoshiytt2834 I can kinda see why you think that way, but I don't know, I personally like the show. I like the goofiness and seriousness in one show.
Spectacular spider man is one my favorite spider man and show was amazing
Did it end well? Simple answer HELL NO.
I just finished the series after a 3 day watch and this was by far a terrible ending and I was quite shocked that it ended the way it did. Norman still being alive at the end after that massive explosion that happened and I was like, what?! Too bad we won't ever get to see how that continues.
It does make you wonder if tge version Norman took was better than his comic counterpart.
The 616 universe version to be specific

2 questions
1. What do you think of Steve Blum’s performance as the Green Goblin
2. Was Ghost Rider a Spider-Man villain ?
1. Loved it
2. Yeeees??
Ghost rider ain’t a spider man villain

Season 2 was Miles better than season 1 it’s just that it set a lot up for season 3
Grew up with ultimate but I finished watching spectacular today and if I had to choose between spectacular season 3 or ultimate I’d choose spectacular
Confirmed to be in spider-verse, might just be a few seconds but still spectacular to him back

Green Goblin sound like Star Scream from Transformers Prime
“When you realize that Spectacular Spider-Man ends like a Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul cliffhanger:”
We should have gotten a third season
"Norman Osborn has taken a new face, new name, new adress and assumed a new indentity."
Technically it was a cliffhanger
I really wish they did a Season 3
I hope Spider-Man into the spider verse 3 brings him back but it really does make sense now why spectacular is where he is.
Does anyone have a website where i could watch the show for free ?
Soap2day
9:32 well hopefully with across the spider-verse the nails will start to rust
Im still confused on the last episode of season 2 its like the whole episode was backwards, gwen didnt have her makeover, peter and liz were back together and flash still had a broken leg. Can someone explain?
It’s not a sequel to the episode before it takes place before the first episode of season two I’m pretty sure
That episode is out of order in Disney + it’s suppose to be episode 5 in season 2 they just put it in the end for some reason
living o the edge fighting crime spining webs, alove that song and the show to , to bad they cancelled it
It's actually The BAD Way Spectacular Spider-Man Ended.
the main problem was that this movie was rushed.Norman dies (seemingly) after that scene immediatly cut out to his grave?!
I probably wouldn't want thus show back so much if Ultimate Spider-Man was actually a worthy successor, which it was wasn't.
The only problem the show had was people would be frozen in the back ground if they werent talking
It did not end well man. Venom was still out there, the gangs ( dr octopus gang, flipping green goblin, big man , and so many other more gangsters are still out and free. It just didn’t deserve to end like that
Still a masterpiece of a show btw
I still mad about their don’t continued the show
Shalom☺
