Hello. You are here because you want to make the perfect shot quickly and effectively.
Here's what you'll need: a sniper rifle, a Vector 21, an AtragMX, a Kestrel, an adjustable telescopic sight, and a range card. First and foremost, for safety purposes, reset your AtragMX with the following code: call ace_atragmx_fnc_clear_user_data enter it here and execute it. This step is important. I'll leave the code in the video description.
Observe your target with the Vector 21. Hold down Tab + R until the red circle is on your target, then release the keys. The distance, heading, and incline information of your target will be automatically transferred to your AtragMX.
With your rifle in hand, open your range card. You'll see the caliber in the top left. Open your AtragMX, go to GunList, and select your rifle's bullet caliber. Press OPEN GUN. Click on M. And make sure MILs are selected.
Open your Kestrel and locate User Screen 2. Open your AtragMX and enter the atmospheric information in the Atmosphere tab by clicking on TBH. Press DONE, and you now have environmental information.
With your Kestrel open, get ready to record the wind speed. Look for Wind Speed on your Kestrel, press shift K to see the wind direction, and aim your kestrel where the wind is coming from or going towards. Enter the wind speed in the target tab of your AtragMX in the Wind Speed box. Also, enter the direction the wind is pointing according to the clock face. Press DONE.
Remember that wind speed changes rapidly. Don't let too much time pass. Calibrate your telescopic sight as directed by your AtragMX. To calibrate your sight, use the page up and page down keys in combination with the control and shift keys.
Once the elevation and lateral angles have been entered into your telescopic sight, you are ready to shoot. Use the tripod or bipod, hold your breath with the shift key, and fire.
If the target is far away, the bullet may deviate slightly. This could be due to various factors: the Coriolis effect, the Eötvös effect, or the speed and direction of the wind at the target, etc. Compensate on the fly.

This is a very quick and dirty tutorial to get you hitting targets. Truth be told you dont really need any of this if you walk your shots over to your targets if all you want to do is hit you simply use good ole kentucky windage and find your holds. But if you want to actually be a good sniper and hit everytime the first time.. You want to do yourself a favor and pick the rifle you want to snipe with then get a good workshop trainer course that allows you to spawn targets and set up location then you need to measure out 100 meters. Then you need to fire your rifle while holding completely still on a shot with zero wind and hit dead center of target. Then set your zero with with ACE MOD. This will set the rifles ZERO. Its a vitally important step if you intend to make any shots beyond 700 meters accurately the first time every time and no I dont mean a simple center mass shot Im talking head shot and heart shot accuracy. ZERO YOUR RIFLE. Then you need to start hitting the target you set up at various distances the first time every time then you need to make windy shots on that same target same distance this trains you on how to adjust for wind should you have to make a wind shot which is highly likely.
Then you have to do a very Crucial part... which should be done really before you start trying to hit anything after zeroing that rifle and that is ADD YOUR RIFLE TO THE ATRAGX You can fill in simple areas sure but you need to find the actual Muzzle Velocity for the Rifle in real life and I recommend whatever rifle you snipe with you make sure its realistic model wise so that when you put in the information it will match the rifle. Most of these rifle mods are built using real muzzle velocities. Take it one further and then go and get teh DAGGER MOD... Which adds tons of realistic setting rifles and scopes and a plethora of Ghillie options. Then PRACTICE x3!!
Don't bother attempting to hit anything moving until you have mastered hitting static targets. Once you have done all of this even if you loose all your settings the chances of you being deadly accurate even with default sniper rifles is much higher... Then all you have to do is have the Range Card and check your Temp then look at the distance on the range card and set your scope up to the range card settings. The trouble is sometimes the range card is empty and therefore all of this information is useless and you will have to default to Kentucky Windage. NOT ALL MAPS ARE SET UP TO WORK Properly with the ATRAGX IE the temps can be very wrong as well as the elevations. Its not hard it just takes time to learn this stuff and make it second nature. Youll develope your own D.O.P.E mental settings after a while. BUT USE IT OR LOSE IT.

there's no way I'd be able to get through this entire process with the groups I run with unfortunately. They tend to run in and engage, or the zeus tends to put enemies on variable patrols so they never loop back to the exact same place.
