idk how to feel about ace, half the time i down a soldier i try to finish them off but they take up half my mag or my whole mag
even if i was to shoot at a soldier what i personally want is something hardcore yk kinda like vanilla arma expect with the advanced medical system

your ACE medical is configured wrong. The settings are out of wack for them to take a whole mag.

@@active_tzz2249 Fatal Damage Source needs to be either sum of trauma or both. On vitals only they take a serious amount of damage everywhere except the head. If you think this makes AI too easy to kill you can always up their HP.

I'm very experienced in milsim but the average player in our community is semi-casual to casual, so I have it set on a precise balance between the two.
The medical content is hardcore, teamwork oriented and knowledge based (KAT medical with airways and drugs etc... Can't use many items on yourself. Any role can use medical items if they know how)
Except that player death is very forgiving, so that you can have those epic rescue missions and long firefights.
Yet enemy health is low and players aren't massively punished for wounds so they can play on until very injured.
It's a hard balance to achieve and took around a year to dial in, happy to send it.

What mods do you use for the ambient sounds like the radio chatter and Inventar opening sounds? they sound really good.

by the time you are ready to fire, the target has all the time to change position

The quandary of marksmanship in a nutshell.
it is time sensitive; the weather and the target are changing in some way at all times. It's what makes it fun!
This basic method takes about 20 seconds to do alone when you are experienced, faster stil when you learn your weapon, so is suited to most casual situations.
The advanced method is best reserved only for controlled situations in which you have an acive spotter, the benefit of time and situational foresight, I won't make a video on it because it is so rarely useful, though fun if you like science and math!
If you're in a highly time sensitive or uncontrolled situation, marksmanship is never going to be the solution, in fact, speaking from a realistic or simply high difficulty standpoint it very rarely is at all.
Outside of underequipped guerrilla warfare or historical warfare, it's mostly just a fun support role that's been superceded by better methods.
