    Glad I got to be a "willing" assistant in this one

    Good tutorial, thanks. Just a few little things. Morphine lowers heart rate (-35 BPM) and Epinephrine raises heart rate (+50 DPM).

    Bandages actually do make a difference. Packing is usually best for normal infantry, elastic for medics when you are able to stitch wounds, and quikclots when your wounds reopen. Field dressing I have to test. If you're questioning why the reasoning is that packing is about as efficient as elastic but the minimum reopen time is very long so it will be awhile until the wound reopens. Elastic is the most efficient to apply but reopens very fast. So you'll need a medic to stitch if there is a lot of wounds that you used elastic bandages on. Quikclots aren't very efficient but they make wounds reopen at a very slow pace, slower than packing.
    Edit: Saw that they are the same for your settings, although what I said applies to vanilla bandage settings.

    How are you using ace medical with rhs. Doesn't that make enemies bullet sponges?

    • @609thunitedtaskforce9

      You can adjust the "bullet sponginess" of enemies via the Addon Settings. It can take some tweaking to find the right level of damage resistance.

    My AI stopped bleeding and low BP high pulse but i can’t give him blood?

      Make sure you have the medic role / permissions. Alternatively there are also settings for ACE Medical within the addon menu that allows you to give blood without the medic role

    Once a patient's heart has stopped, is there no way of saving them?

    • @609thunitedtaskforce9
      @609thunitedtaskforce9  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It is absolutely possible to save a patient after their heart has stopped, depending on the severity of injury and how many people are able to assist. First off, CPR must be performed to circulate blood. you'll also need to stop any major bleeding with tourniquets and bandages. Blood should be applied as soon as possible, even if the patient is still bleeding. once their blood levels are no longer critical, the patient should be able to maintain a heart rate on their own. If possible, these tasks should be split up between several people and performed simultaneously.
      As always, keep in mind this applies to the 609th's ACE Medical Settings, your community's settings may be more or less forgiving depending on their playstyle.

      if they're ragdolled then it's over. otherwise, you can use CPR

    can i use any bandage

    • @609thunitedtaskforce9
      @609thunitedtaskforce9  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Depending on your ACE settings, different bandages are better for different types of injuries. For the 609th, all bandages are equally effective at stopping bleeding. But for units with more advanced medical settings, packing bandages or elastic bandages will probably be most effective. Check with your unit or server staff to be certain

    This Video is not correct and I don’t recommend anyone use this medical training

    • @609thunitedtaskforce9
      @609thunitedtaskforce9  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Could you clarify what you mean by not correct? It sounds like you may be using different ACE settings from what the 609th uses

    • @maxwellfairfield888
      @maxwellfairfield888 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@609thunitedtaskforce9 that’s exactly it.
      Bandages aren’t all equally effective across Arma so the sever settings here do not apply ace wide.

    • @609thunitedtaskforce9
      @609thunitedtaskforce9  ปีที่แล้ว +6

      That's absolutely correct, and thanks for sharing. As stated in the video these procedures only apply to the 609th's servers. We use a simplified configuration that follows our community's preferences. The video still serves to provide a basic rundown of the ACE medical system, but anyone who uses more advanced configurations should follow the training provided by that community.
