Yes, and in other ways it's horrifying. It tells you how many hurt and alienated people are out there. It reaches out to a lot of people, and it's a great and powerful song, but it also tells you how broken our society is that so many people are so hurt and lonely. Still brilliant. But scary too.

I feel like this was an anthem for us weird, angsty, alternative kids in the 90s. I definitely remember identifying heavily with it back then, and I still freaking love this song to this day. A very common song on my playlists. I have to be in the mood to listen to most Radiohead, but there’s no denying they were unique to the music scene in the 90s and influenced many artists who came after them. The lead singer is Thom Yorke and he also did some solo albums that I remember listening to in the mid-2000s. I think they were more experimental-sounding but I do remember liking some of his solo work.
Agreed. It was never an easy thing to listen to, because it involved acknowledging so much about yourself that was wrong. Yet easier to accept what you are than pretend.
@Tom That's so true. It relates to those feelings everyone gets , whether it's the deep dark insecurities or just being with someone or being somewhere where you feel like you are out of your depth. We hide it and hope nobody notices then Radiohead came along and it felt like they were singing an anthem just to you about all those secrets you'd kept. Loved it then and love it now.
I always felt this song perfectly describes teenage angst, the way the feeling and emotions are all over the place, you want to fit in but also stand out and find your own way

Man!!! You didn't even stop it until almost the end because you were FEELING IT!!!! This song does that. Everyone can relate to this song, and when he starts in on the high notes, it floats you away...
No Surprises by Radiohead is honestly one of the most beautiful songs ever written...up there with What a wonderful world by Louis Armstrong. You truly have to hear it guys...much love from Australia! X
You could say that about a whole host of Radiohead songs to be fair. Such a fucking deep and absorbing band. OK Computer and The Bends are two of the greatest albums of all time, without a doubt.
This song breaks me every time. I was bullied because of my disability. This song was a hit around that time and that’s how I felt and still do sometimes.
I am an adult and I interpret it according to my current life, I feel that my bad decisions in love, at work and in my professional life have been very bad, so much so that I feel I should not be living the circumstances I am currently living.
Jesus Christ Loves you all so so much that HE died and suffered for you all on the Cross to save you all from sin, death and Hell, turn to HIM fully and Put your entire Faith in HIM and Believe in HIM and follow HIM and you shall be saved, turn from sin and do Good seek peace and pursue it and seek GOD and righteousness GODBLESS you all Amen!🙏❤️💯
Fake Plastic Trees and Iron Lung are a couple of picks that show off some of their versatility. They evolve in each album and its such a treat to discover them.
Yes, and anything from their Live From the Basement series: Weird Fishes, Where I end and you begin... one of those exceptional bands that's way better live than in studio, but this series captures a fair bit of their greatness minus some of the energy.
Pearly* is a great song also from the more rocky paradigm of radioheads career. I love how great bands shift their sound through the ages. Radioheads paradigm shift is comparable to the beatles
THANK YOU!!! I've been asking you to give Radiohead another try, and you did!! Please, keep going down this rabbit hole. Thom Yorke's voice is so amazing and passionate, as you'll see in future songs. :"Karma Police" and "Fake Plastic Trees" would be excellent choices for your next one! That you enjoyed it more this time, Jay, proves just how far you've come since that first week (actually, it was on your third DAY, 4/2/21, two days after you debuted!). And Jay, put this down in the "win" column for 90s music! P.S. It is HIGH TIME you did some Green Day!!
@@tarcisioreynes5054 I just rewatched his initial reaction. There was a lot of background noise, and Jay was using headphones that were vastly inferior to what he has now. You're very right - he wasn't ready. Hell, none of us were the first time we heard "Creep".
"I want a perfect body, I want a perfect soul. I want you to notice when I'm not around. You're so f ing special. I wish I was special. But I'm a creep."- To this day, these lyrics are powerful and illicit emotion.
Jay, I am so proud of you for revisiting a song you weren't so crazy about in the beginning. You've both grown so much in this musical journey! My favorite Radiohead jam is "High and Dry", but I think you'll both also enjoy listening to "Fake Plastic Trees" and "No Surprises". So glad you're hopping on the Radiohead train now!
The Bends entire album is excellent. Often overlooked due to the incredible OK Computer and everything that followed, but there are a number of great songs on it. "Black Star" is another of my favorites. "My Iron Lung" too.
Perfection of a song! I remember exactly where I was when it came out Amoeba, Berkeley CA and I kid you not every single person in record store either had tears or were nodding in agreement. Thom Yorke is a genius.
I have been dying for them to react to Fiona Apple!!! Jay would love the piano, and Amber would love the wit and weight of her lyrics, and they both would melt from her voice.
Radiohead are criminally underrated but that hasn’t stopped them gaining a huge following. Karma Police is another one of their creations and my personal fave.
What the bleep bleep you talking about. They effin won 3 grammys. The world knows them. Are you maybe 12 yrs old and this is the 1st time hearing them. Underated😂😂😂i now officially cancel you markspiterly, for you know jack squat. Buh bye
@@Brandi6666 you need to lay off the drugs mate. I know how many Grammys they have won but many people still don’t rate them as highly as they deserve to be.
@@UESide It seems to me that every second TH-cam comment states that a certain band/singer/movie is "underrated"; I'm not sure the word has any meaning any more.
You both have grown a lot in your love of music since the early stages of your channel. Amber didn't seem to care for metal too much. Now she's starting to love it. Jay also has grown some appreciation for different genres.
I discovered Jay when he hated rock, on his friend Rome Life's reaction to AC DC's "Thunderstruck." Hilarious! th-cam.com/video/86_PzSplNLM/w-d-xo.html
I think Amber hit the nail on the head, for me it's also broader than a love interest that doesn't work, it also feels like your inner critique in general wearing you down every day. Thom Yorke is such an amazing vocalist, I can't wait for more Radiohead reactions! ❤️
Yes, I do love this song. It is on my playlist but so is Hailey Reinhart's cover of it with Post Modern Jukebox. She would be a great addition to female Friday.
It could be argued that her version is as good or better than Radiohead’s within each versions genre. Then again, why compare. Both versions are amazing. They definitely have to react to Haley’s version and more covers from PMJ.
This is a rabbit hole worth the journey! Radiohead evolves every album and its always something different. Plus Thom Yorke's voice is amazing! Check out, How to disappear completely, Jigsaw falling into place, nude, Bloom, Idioteque etc etc etc
This song is kind of an anomaly for Radiohead. It's a pretty straight forward and emotional rocker. It's how most of us were introduced to the band. They have a few hits, but a majority of their music is very dark, nuanced and cerebral. Although they have a very enthusiastic following; their music isn't for everyone - it just hits different. They are considered by many to be the greatest rock bands of their generation.
I remember when people would accuse Muse of being a Radiohead ripoff band. That didn't last long, because Radiohead themselves stopped making that kind of music very early on. The Bends was pretty much their final straightforward "Rock" album (and even that had plenty of nuance and innovation).
Creep was the first song of theirs that had an obvious message and so it became popular, but as you said most of their songs are dark and the fans love them for that reason
@Barni Granero "the one after that"??? That's OK Computer. It's one of the best albums of the nineties. It's a freaking masterpiece. The Bends is a great album, but it's just a warm up to what Radiohead did for the next three decades.
I am 64 years of age, I am a massive fan of TREX, ELO, SLADE. QUEEN, And obviously a huge fan of all the music I have ever heard, Is this one of this best songs I have ever heard? Absolutely, Thom Yorke, thank you.
You're just like a angel. Your skin makes me cry. You float like a feather in a beautiful world" . Best beginning to any song. The lyrics and his voice.
They are in the absolute HIGHEST level of bands - the heighest heights - Beatles, Floyd - they can be challenging on first listens, but just check their following and accomplishments for bona fides. "Paranoid Android" is the next best song to check out!
@@krs181067 Didn't like Kid A on first few listens, but being a fan I still went to see them on the Kid A tour, hearing those songs live is when Kid A clicked for me, I adore that album.
@@krs181067 Longer even for me and a huge part of my RH fan journey - I fell in love with OK Computer quickly and felt it to be the best album I'd ever heard, period, and they were my new favorite band over any other - and the 90s had a lot of incredible genres and music that took flight and I was in for it all, but nothing touched Ok Computer. Waited 3 desperate years for the follow up, bursting out of my skin, and was so so so thrown off by it it was devastating. I liked Amnesiac more but it wasn't a love affair, and I just ended up going down a blues rabbit hole for 6 years backwards until I was seeking out scratchy records from the 20's. Then in 2007 - by fate - I was flipping through channels and like a miracle truly, turned on at the exact moment it started, the original live airing on PBS of "In Rainbows: From the Basement." I was so checked out on my 'favorite band' I'd missed a whole album in 2003 and the whole free DL "In Rainbows" release...but the concert was so instantly blatantly brilliant, moving, mesmerizing, inspirational - I was absolutely admittedly surprised, in a good way, and shocked that they were still making music at this level, maybe even an even higher level, and unlike most of their best, it takes at least 2 or 3 listens - this hit me so hard I was knocked out of my coma, bough the album, it was amazing, and I began to go back....Hail to the Thief, and eventually Kid A, and realized I did love a handful of songs on it, but always skipped "The National Anthem" and Idioteche - like really? Many albums got this treatment - like I finally 'got' Spinning Plates, it is just why the people who love them do and it is nothing you can force on someone, it has to come naturally as it is such an individual thing.
“Karma Police” would be a perfect 2nd song from Radiohead. It has a popular appeal so it would be a nice next step. My favorite Radiohead song is “Reckoner”.
It's so funny how you say you have grown since the start of your channel. I watched those first videos and man you have evolved so much. You opened up your mind and heart to good music and that is so special. I am 56 years old and have been listening to everything under the sun since I was little. My dad listened to everything , I feel he raised me right when it comes to music and I did the same for my kids. I really love you two. You make my day!
There was always music in our home growing up. My parents listened to different types of music. Dad: Old country, gospel, comedy Mom: Rock n’ Roll, classical, tribal Oldest brother: Cool 70’s rock Middle brother: hard rock Older sister: Disco , singer songwriters, soft pop Younger sister: Punk, goth So i listen to just about everything. My love for music is ingrained in me.
@@CBGB_1977 Dad: Stevie Wonder, Harry Belafonte, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Paul McCartney, 60s Jazz Mom: Beatles, Country, BeeGees, Country Sister: Supertramp, Trex, Golden Earing, Led Zeppelin Me: Sinatra to Sex Pistols, Johnny Cash to Joy Division, Elton John to Woody Guthrie…. Etc etc etc. 😀
I agree with you %100 percent. My parents had music on all the time when I was growing up and the songs of the Beatles and the 70s, 80s, and 90s have never left me. Watching Jay and Amber hear these songs for the first time gives me a whole new perspective on them and appreciate them even more. I love them and their reactions and I watch them every day now. Best channel on youtube IMO!

Go down that rabbit hole! That's only scratching the surface of this monumental band. They evolve with every album. So much talent that can never be duplicated.
I analysed this for an exam in a music class I took in University. The consensus was that the light and airy verses were his fantasy of how he wishes things were. The grungy choruses were how thing actually are. The fantasy Vs the reality. Then that last section is him reconciling the two. Accepting the reality means he could be equally happy with both things as they actually are AND things as he woud like them to be. Hence the realty sounding just like the fantsy.
The bridge in this song, when Thom sings, "She's running out the door ...," includes a phrase that's note for note identical to "If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass ..." from The Hollies' "The Air That I Breathe." This is a fantastic song. And yeah, more Radiohead. Some of the best of what the 90s had to offer.
A singer named Brian Justin Crum did a beautiful touching rendition of this song. That spoke so loudly about feeling like you don’t belong but, you do belong we all are creeps and weirdo’s in someway and our individual uniquenesses is what makes the world a beautiful place and life a wonderful thing.😊❤ 🌈
I just want to give Thom Yorke a hug. 30 years he’s been sharing the most vulnerable part of him that can encapsulate anyone’s own personal struggles or pain so perfectly. And in such a strange but cathartic way, at least for me. He deserves a Thank You.
This was English Radiohead's debut single released in 1992 and it did well in America and Israel. It was reissued in 1993 and became a world wide hit. Fabulous bass line with the methodic drum beat and sensational vocals make this unforgettable. The lyrics represent a sad individual who can't see his own potential. Beautiful song but sad.😪 Great reaction. Buckets of Maple Syrup love from Canada ❤️❤️ 🇨🇦🇨🇦
Not only are Radiohead an amazing, creative and mesmerizing band, I sincerely believe they're an important part of rock history, at least since the early 90s. What a deep, incredible rabbit hole this is. I'll enjoy the ride with you and with immense pleasure. (edit) Next I'd go Paranois Android, Street Spirit and Karma Police.
More Radiohead please. They sound very very different depending on where you dip into their discography….which is part of the appeal. Whether it’s their mid 90s guitar driven work, or 2000s electronic experimentation, or beautiful compositions later on, they are always balancing the ethereal with the anxious. And always interesting and emotional.
This is a bit of a special song for me. When I was in apprenticeship school in the Navy, I was allowed on base liberty. I would go to a commissary/deli on base everyday for a breaded chicken sandwich with fries and a large soda. The first time I walked in, this song was being played on the jukebox. It hit me right in the face with it's weird, musical genius. Have it in my regular rotation to this day. Thanks for doing this song so I can see how others might appreciate it.
I like when she says "that stroke...is when he gets to that dark thought". I can go along with her. Rob mirrors me when I listen to Creep, those aggressive attacks on Jimmy's Stratocaster. I love that part so much I watched several "how to play Creep" videos, and I don't even play guitar. Just wanted to see it being played since Radiohead doesn't play it any longer.
Now you have to hear Vintage Postmodern Jukebox featuring Haley Reinhart cover of this.. you'll love their version (it has horns Amber :) ) It's the best cover of this song that I've ever heard and so very different as well... and Haley's voice is amazing.
@@markyoung8163 I have too but I hadn't realize that Amber hadn't reacted to the original yet.. so I forgive them for not doing it yet.. but they have no excuse now. ;) LOL
Yes I think a few PMJ covers is just what we need. Since they just did this cover I thing PMJ Nothing Else Matters - ft. 15 Year Old Caroline Baran for the first song they watch. whatcha think? I also think they need to see Royals ft, Puddles BUT Haley Reinhart cover is a MUST.
I can still remember the first time I ever heard this song which was when it came out, and I heard that 1st heavy guitar rift...man, i still get F'n chills
OMG ...You have to hear Hailey Reinhart do the cover of this when she had ( Post Modern Jukebox) band playing for her. The band takes different artists to do covers of songs but turns them into a 1920s version. It's a must to watch and hear. You have to look it up ( Creep- Vintage Post Modern Jukebox Radiohead Cover ft Hailey Reinhart )..do the video.
Radiohead!! One of the greatest, most cool bands ever! Their songs are dark and mysterious, just like the songs you two enjoy so much, with deep meaningful lyrics. Just about any song of theirs you choose going forward will make me happy.
Please, for the love of the wee man his own self, if you want to do more Radiohead you need to do Street Spirit (Fade out). The song is amazing, dark and evocative and the video is outstanding in production and imagery.
I still remember being blown away by this song when it first came out. Man, it has not lost any of its power. Radiohead is a journey you guys will love going on.
Yes! I dig that you acknowledge that you are a more mature music person now. It's true, the more you listen to "real music" by "real musicians", not only does your appreciation for difference styles of music in general grow, but your listening ear and understanding of musicianship. And that is one of the many reasons I love watching and listening to you guys. Thanks for sharing this ride with all of us.
Prince does a pretty amazing cover as well! Word is Thom wouldn't let Prince scub the Cochella cover from the internet since it was technically theirs lol.
I saw Radiohead as a support band at a gig in Glasgow, Scotland just as they were coming though and I’ve been a fan ever since. A few songs to check out are High and Dry, Fake Plastic Trees, No Surprises, Karma Police and Just.
This is the song that actually cursed Radiohead because it was BY FAR their most successful single ever, and they spent the rest of their careers getting yelled at by record executives to make the next Creep. It was a success that they were never able to replicate. They had some smaller hits like Karma Police, and Paranoid Android, but they couldn't ever catch lightning in a bottle the way they did with Creep.
REM had similar issues. You just have to say FU to the record company (and to any fans) who demand a repeat and just do what you want to do. Both RH and REM did that (thankfully)
This song is always sung in singing competition shows and even karaoke. People love singing this song. It's so fun to watch the musical journey's you've both gone on. It's very satisfying to we who've known all this music forever. Thanks for taking us along with you!
Jay Damn right it’s FIRE!!! That’s Radiohead’s classic that 1st got EVERYONE’S attention!! This song is ICONIC!! It hits on so many levels!! The lyric expresses what so many can relate to .. The feeling of not being enough .. Cool enough Pretty enough Sophisticated enough … Then there’s the band … One of the best bands of the last 25 years … each player excels in his own right!! Then there’s Thom … The voice of an Angel who is able to sing in so many different ways… and he’s such a prolific performer who totally expresses the feeling of the outsider … Put it all together and you have the phenomenal band that is Radiohead! This song is so awesome that Prince covered it! Nuff said! 🥰
Thom Yorke - take a bow sir. No-one else could deliver this song with such emotion and feeling. 'I want a perfect body, I want a perfect soul' - heartbreaking. Fake Plastic Trees and Iron Lung are both beautiful too. Huge rabbit hole to allow yourselves to sink into. Much love ❤️
Radiohead are such a creative band, so glad you have reopened this pathway. Other great sings by them worth checking out Karma Police, No Surprises, Street Spirit, Pyramid Sing and Paranoid Android
I have followed Rob from the beginning. He may not be a musician, but he has the heart of one. I love how intensely listens to the song, including the lyrics. Amber joining made them my favorite reactors of both music, and movies. And yes, Thom Yorke can sing.
You have to hit the video of Post Modern Jukebox and Haley Reinhardt singing Creep... now that you have this fresh in your minds... you will thank us for requesting it.
I've got to agree with this comment. Radiohead is completely worthy of a deep dive into their intensely personal catalog, but I am somewhat amazed that someone has not pointed you in the direction of PMJ and Haley Reinhart's equally intense and personal take on this work of musical art. So I'll gladly do the pointing: th-cam.com/video/m3lF2qEA2cw/w-d-xo.html
My favorite high school song. Even won us a band performance of our school competition, well we are competing against couple of choir team so... Missed that time. 😊
You absolutely HAVE to react to the Postmodern Jukebox version featuring Haley Reinhart. It would be a great Female Friday one. You will both be completely blown away.
Now, ain't that the truth Jay. It's amazing how one can grow by broadening one's musical horizons, one starts noticing the role of each instrument in a piece. Like when Amber compared the guitar shredding with going down the rabbit hole. Nicely done. With Radiohead, they did a lot of experimentation albums, they play nicely with music theory, and they can go deep. Not everyone's cup of tea. But they also have other well-known songs, still deep but very enjoyable for us still musically-impaired people.
Radiohead! Alternative rock band in the '90s and '00s. They were influenced from alt rock bands of the '80s and carried on to the '90s. Bass guitars are usually heavy on post-punk/new wave music, which kind of influenced this band too. With heavy distortion on the guitars added. Happy you gave Radiohead a chance, listen to more of their songs. Good job you two.
As others have said before me, I am so stoked that you've revisited this song. Now that your ears are more attuned to various sounds, there's a better appreciation of what they do. Next one to listen to HAS to be Fake Plastic Trees. Hands down my fave Radiohead tune. Thom's voice on that is so delicate and amazing.
I adore this song soooo much. I truly love .. love .. love Lukas Rossi's cover on Rockstar - Supernova .... it was magical for him and the judges. So when I hear this song... I think of that performance also. Great choices lately.. I am really enjoying!!! 🤩🤩🤩

No Surprises by Radiohead is honestly one of the most beautiful songs ever written...up there with What a wonderful world by Louis Armstrong. You truly have to hear it guys...much love from Australia! X
Correct
That song reminds me of House M.D.
Could be the theme tune to my life :)
You could say that about a whole host of Radiohead songs to be fair. Such a fucking deep and absorbing band. OK Computer and The Bends are two of the greatest albums of all time, without a doubt.
Nude by Radiohead kills me every time
This song breaks me every time.
There is nothing wrong with you, its called society.
Hold on I believe in you you will make it
Prince doing Creep at Coachella was absolutely amazing.
i forgot about that!! but they still have to do his superbowl performance and the george Harrison rock and roll hall of fame induction
I really am not sure I agree with that.
@@jay-bt2lu I agree. 👍🏽
had to go see for myself...brb Back, I love Prince but not doing Creep.
Yes! I was going to suggest that! It is incredible!
I'll second that... Fake Plastic Trees
“Reckoner” is one of my favorites from the basement series.
I love that album. Street Spirit (Fade Out) also one of my favorites
Been asking Jay to revisit too. I knew his opinion would change. Jay just wasn’t ready for this the first time around
@@tarcisioreynes5054 I just rewatched his initial reaction. There was a lot of background noise, and Jay was using headphones that were vastly inferior to what he has now. You're very right - he wasn't ready. Hell, none of us were the first time we heard "Creep".
How about asking them to do Y&T "Rescue Me" I've been trying for 6 months now
Upvote for Green Day!
"I want a perfect body, I want a perfect soul. I want you to notice when I'm not around. You're so f ing special. I wish I was special. But I'm a creep."- To this day, these lyrics are powerful and illicit emotion.
Exactly :(
They sure do. We all know that feeling; that pain. Mmmm❤
By far, one of my most favorite songs.
All great songs.
Absolutely!!! I've been wanting them to hear FPTrees for so long now.

The Bends entire album is excellent. Often overlooked due to the incredible OK Computer and everything that followed, but there are a number of great songs on it. "Black Star" is another of my favorites. "My Iron Lung" too.
@Roderick Eckle Black Star is one of my faves off The Bends too. A deeper cut that gets little to no mention, but is just heartbreaking!
Please explore more Radiohead! They are a genre of their own!
I agree. They really are un-boxable.
"You float like a feather, in a beautiful world" Could you imagine someone saying that to you in a tender moment? Yea that's love.
I KNOWWW ITS HONESTLY SO BEAUTIFULLL
Perfection of a song! I remember exactly where I was when it came out Amoeba, Berkeley CA and I kid you not every single person in record store either had tears or were nodding in agreement. Thom Yorke is a genius.
So many people's anthem back in the day and still so heartbreakingly relatable!
Also, that line "I want a perfect body, I want a perfect soul" 😩
As for 90’s tunes, please check out Fiona Apple “Criminal”. She is super talented!!
I have been dying for them to react to Fiona Apple!!! Jay would love the piano, and Amber would love the wit and weight of her lyrics, and they both would melt from her voice.
@@TheRealSubourbonMermaid I totally agree!!
excellent choice
Yes! Fiona on female Friday!!! So many good songs. Shadowboxer
@@valerieparton4713 I actually prefer Shadowboxer to Criminal, but I know Criminal was a bigger hit.
Underrated? They are widely accepted as one of the greatest bands of the last few decades.

You both have grown a lot in your love of music since the early stages of your channel. Amber didn't seem to care for metal too much. Now she's starting to love it. Jay also has grown some appreciation for different genres.
I love Jay's appreciation for the Bee Gees. We lived it! I miss the great music from my childhood, hearing it when it was new.
@@BillGraper hell yeah when radio was great
True, But this track is more Alt Rock.
I discovered Jay when he hated rock, on his friend Rome Life's reaction to AC DC's "Thunderstruck." Hilarious! th-cam.com/video/86_PzSplNLM/w-d-xo.html
definitely - Jay did not like it a couple years ago when he first reacted to it
This song hits every chord for those of us who never felt like we fit in anywhere.
I think Amber hit the nail on the head, for me it's also broader than a love interest that doesn't work, it also feels like your inner critique in general wearing you down every day. Thom Yorke is such an amazing vocalist, I can't wait for more Radiohead reactions! ❤️
THIS, Exactly!!
Loved the reaction. You guys are the best at this.
Yes, I do love this song. It is on my playlist but so is Hailey Reinhart's cover of it with Post Modern Jukebox. She would be a great addition to female Friday.
YESSS!!!
Totally agree - particularly her cover of this song... AMAZING!!!
It could be argued that her version is as good or better than Radiohead’s within each versions genre. Then again, why compare. Both versions are amazing. They definitely have to react to Haley’s version and more covers from PMJ.
Absolutely, yes, do Hailey's version, please!
Postmodern Jukebox's cover of this with Haley is up there with the greatest song covers of all time.
This is a rabbit hole worth the journey! Radiohead evolves every album and its always something different. Plus Thom Yorke's voice is amazing! Check out, How to disappear completely, Jigsaw falling into place, nude, Bloom, Idioteque etc etc etc
Those are some damn fine suggestions. This band was so far ahead of its time.
I disagree. This is their only good song.
They suck. 😂
@@Johnny_Socko It's still their best album. The one after that is close but has a couple of skippable tracks.
Totally agree must check out SLADE and not heard anything from THE EAGLES?
You're just like a angel. Your skin makes me cry. You float like a feather in a beautiful world" . Best beginning to any song. The lyrics and his voice.
They are in the absolute HIGHEST level of bands - the heighest heights - Beatles, Floyd - they can be challenging on first listens, but just check their following and accomplishments for bona fides. "Paranoid Android" is the next best song to check out!
Depends on which version of The Beatles. "I Am the Walrus" can be challenging, but "Hey Jude" is very accessible.
Took me 5 years to get kid a. One of my favourites now.
Dad: Old country, gospel, comedy
Mom: Rock n’ Roll, classical, tribal
Oldest brother: Cool 70’s rock
Middle brother: hard rock
Older sister: Disco , singer songwriters, soft pop
Younger sister: Punk, goth
So i listen to just about everything. My love for music is ingrained in me.

Go down that rabbit hole! That's only scratching the surface of this monumental band. They evolve with every album. So much talent that can never be duplicated.
Real
Indeed. The writers of The Air That I Breathe sued Radiohead because of it and now have co-writing credits on Creep.
I’m so proud of you for trying this song again because Radiohead is one of my favorite bands.
It’s the best cover of creep, he owned it. You could tell he’s felt it.
I just want to give Thom Yorke a hug. 30 years he’s been sharing the most vulnerable part of him that can encapsulate anyone’s own personal struggles or pain so perfectly. And in such a strange but cathartic way, at least for me. He deserves a Thank You.
One of my all time favorite songs!🎶🎤💙🎤🎶🤗
Me too...
Great reaction. Post Modern Jukebox ft. Haley Reinhearts Cover of Creep is absolutely amazing!
So many artists have played and reinterpreted this song. It's refreshing to know Creep will be with us forever.
This song is peak early 90s, from one of the best bands to come out of that decade.
It is a wonderful song with such deep meaning on many different levels. And yes it’s considered self loathing or seeing yourself in a negative way
I saw them play this in a tiny bar in my hometown in 1992. Their first tour I believe. Incredible band, incredible memories.
Beautiful song but sad.😪
Great reaction. Buckets of Maple Syrup love from Canada ❤️❤️ 🇨🇦🇨🇦

They did have to pay off the people that actually wrote the melody and credit them as writers though!
Fake plastic trees is a favourite of mine but you can’t go wrong with this band ❤
good call.
Well said 👍
More Radiohead please. They sound very very different depending on where you dip into their discography….which is part of the appeal. Whether it’s their mid 90s guitar driven work, or 2000s electronic experimentation, or beautiful compositions later on, they are always balancing the ethereal with the anxious. And always interesting and emotional.
Definitely! Their evolution as song writers and performers is insane. Always pushing boundaries and evolving their sound.
How can they not know most of these songs?!?!???
They do, but its a nice click bait
One of the greatest bands of all time, when those guys get together in the studio they create magic.
Thom Yorke has an incredible voice. Their catalog is one of the most influential of the past 30 years.
“Fake Plastic Trees” and “Street Spirit” really show his vocal abilities.

Brian Crum’s AGT version is nuts too. Worth a listen.
Omg yes, probably the best covers of any song I’ve ever heard!
YES‼️
This is a bit of a special song for me. When I was in apprenticeship school in the Navy, I was allowed on base liberty. I would go to a commissary/deli on base everyday for a breaded chicken sandwich with fries and a large soda. The first time I walked in, this song was being played on the jukebox. It hit me right in the face with it's weird, musical genius. Have it in my regular rotation to this day. Thanks for doing this song so I can see how others might appreciate it.
I love how music triggers memories.
Hey yall. The song by Creed "with arms wide open" one of my favorites. lead singer wrote it about finding out he was going to be a father.
You HAVE to now do “Creep” by Postmodern Jukebox (Haley Reinhart)
Now you have to hear Vintage Postmodern Jukebox featuring Haley Reinhart cover of this.. you'll love their version (it has horns Amber :) ) It's the best cover of this song that I've ever heard and so very different as well... and Haley's voice is amazing.

Fantastic song from a band that is so unique. Great song and such a cranking riff. The lyrics are excellent.
The whole OK Computer album is a masterpiece.
I saw Radiohead as a support band at a gig in Glasgow, Scotland just as they were coming though and I’ve been a fan ever since. A few songs to check out are High and Dry, Fake Plastic Trees, No Surprises, Karma Police and Just.
Thom Yorke is one my favorite singers. His range and control is wicked!
Fake plastic trees and my iron lung. Karma police all good as well.
In the beginning people would go to their shows, they would play this song and people would leave. They didn't play this live for a long time

I've got to agree with this comment.
But they also have other well-known songs, still deep but very enjoyable for us still musically-impaired people.
there is actually quite an intense live version of this song online, where you really can see how the lyrics get to him, how much he feels them.
Looking forward to lots more "RadioHead". They are an amazing band... This was just their 1st big hit. They only got better and better after this...
Those 2 heavy guitar licks are the signature of this song. Oddly, no one has duplicated it since.
I adore this song soooo much. I truly love .. love .. love Lukas Rossi's cover on Rockstar - Supernova .... it was magical for him and the judges. So when I hear this song... I think of that performance also. Great choices lately.. I am really enjoying!!! 🤩🤩🤩
