I live there, and I can confirm we all fly around with magical batteries on our backs through a lush green landscape with dwemer ruins and floating islands.
This game is impressive because it immediately kills off the biggest motivation killer of games feeling unimmersive because they feel painfully obvious that they are just a small constrained world stuck within the limits of a sky box and nothing is real or matters. This game looks beautiful and expansive in a way that indie games usually aren't. You don't have to let me explore the entire universe in your game, but It should always feel like I could if you simply unlocked the door for me. Hope the gameplay holds up to the visuals.

@@PauLtus_B Because it's a demo they're not gonna let you fully explore it yet until the full game is out. They just want you to get acquainted with the game and it's controls before they let you really dive into it in the full one. And I played and I thought the controls were nice and fluid for me I really liked how it controls. Practice makes perfect, but this will be a day 1 buy for me I'm really enthralled by this game so far.
@@abokartona999 I disagree! I thought it was beautiful and very smooth to control, it took a little time to get used to it but I really loved it. I would not call this anywhere near bad or even mid, that's a gross exaggeration on your part, I don't know what you were expecting, but maybe this game isn't for you. To each their own. I get what the game is going for and I can't wait to play the full version when it comes out in the summer.
Just finished the demo for this and immediately wishlisted the game. Influences from Journey, Breath of the Wild, The Pathless, which are all games I love.
This looks so similar to Sky:Children of the light. I love it. Sky was an absolutely beautiful story of friendship, light and overcoming darkness together. It honestly almost felt like LOTR with all the green lands and hills, then you end up at a volcano that looks eerily similar to Mount doom. It’s terrifying when you’re alone, and you’re likely to be found and killed by the flying black wraith-like creatures, or get destroyed by the harsh conditions of climbing the volcano. But if you bring companions and hold hands to help eachother up the volcano, the journey is much more doable. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten past the volcano yet. I always lost my light, was left alone, or died, and my companions almost always ended up struck by lava rocks or lost all their light and died. It’s actually a bit emotional tbh. I hope this game has some of those emotional/heartstring factors that always make a story so much more deep and enjoyable.
Bit late to the party, but absolutely give Sky another try! Without spoiling too much: it doesn’t simply end after the volcano, and it’s meant to be played for a long time. It also keeps getting updates that add more stuff.
That Android reminds me a lot of Reg from Made in Abyss. And Reg is one of my 2 favorite characters in fiction. That is the mainreason why I probably will get this game.
If you guys like the vibes of that and can't wait for the release check out Ni No Kuni, particularly the first part. It even has official studio Ghibli cutscenes and it's s absolutely wonderful. Will be checking out Europa as soon as it drops, my kinda gaming. Cheers.
Played the demo after seeing the trailer in Indie World, and the game is every bit as beautiful as the trailer looks. Very very excited to play this once the full game drops
Sad the game was delayed twice but I hope that means they're working on the visuals for the Switch version so it doesn't look like I'm playing the game with my glasses off lol (the visuals in this trailer are not at all what the Switch demo looks like).
Not sure why, but I got emotional watching this! It just looks so peaceful and beautiful, like I wish the real world was! I love it! Looks and sounds like a Studio Ghibli story, the world design is absolutely GORGOEUS and STUNNING, SO COOL, and I LOVE everything about it! Even the voice acting (and dialogue itself, how it's written, how it flows) reminds me of Studio Ghibli! It's THAT good! The message, too! SO cool! ;A; Can't WAIT to try to demo!

I tried the demo and it's not for me. I mean it's different, pretty, chill and all that but.. I don't know. Not just my cup of tea. It reminded me a little bit of Rime (a game that I love), but also Journey and Sky (two games that I've tried and really want to love, but somehow didn't work for me).
When you play the demo you will realize the character uses an intense dynamic resolution that looks pretty bad. That demo is not running on Nintendo Switch, apparently.
