    Hi Robert I loved watching this! Could you do a video that’s a “tour” of your professional kit - I think it’d be really interesting to see how a pro organises their kit and what you carry with you x

    You are my favorite TH-camr, and I love watching you and your brother together as well! Thank you for what you do to brighten peoples' days and educate on make-up. Do you have any tips as far as doing eyeshadow for somebody with a slight epicanthal fold (a small fold extending from bridge of the nose that covers the inner corner of the eye)? With a basic eye look, it does not affect the overall look too bad, but I also have somewhat hooded eyes, and the combination of the hood and the fold at the inner corner makes cut creases problematic. Any tips appreciated!

    It's totally therapeutic to have TH-cam on to keep u company. I think because I'm so sensitive to background sounds...it's relaxing to have your voice distracting me from all the sounds around me

    I just LOVED this, I wasn't able to watch live, but you are so kind and generous with your advice. I was delighted with the primer 'warming' advice because I have 'mature' eyelids (sob!!) and I cannot get primer to sit evenly on my inner lid, it cakes and streaks, so I am definitely gonna try this. Thanks a million. M

    For a face tint that holds up against humidity, sweat, rain, and (to a lesser extent), crying…..MAC Face and Body Radiant Foundation worked all summer and looked even better on my dry winter skin. Unfortunately its unique gel texture that makes it so wonderful also make it a bit tricky to apply(It may take a bit of experimenting) but I think it is best done with clean hands, rub a decent amount briskly between your hands then take a small amount over a one section of your face and gently rub it in, like you would apply sunscreen, rubbing quickly to gradually work it into your skin( i suggest doing about 4-5 sections), like you are trying to get the white cast of a sunscreen lotion to absorb! Keep rubbing until you feel the texture change and get more sticky, and less watery! it takes longer than you think it should! Add more thin layers and you can get a solid light to light-medium coverage! If I don’t feel like it looks 100% yet, I can gently tap all over my face with my hands instead of using a beauty blender, to avoid losing coverage,(unless you overdo it with too much, but it’s never happened to me!
    With a brush I get a true tint with the mist minimal coverage (unless you use quite a bit of product-it will build eventually).

    Sometime if you get a chance, I would love to know what to do with deep set eyes. It's difficult not to make them look ill and sunken. Also doing a winged eyeliner is crazy as the brow sticks out so far from the plane of the eye... it's curved! Any advice in future videos would be appreciated thanks! This was so fun!

    Robert-These tips were awesome! TY!🥰 My Superchat Questions were missed (I know it's impossible to get to them all) 😊 If you do see this my main question was: I have a protruding brow bone in btwn. my actual brow hairs and lid, and it makes blending difficult as far as positioning and technique goes. Not where you can clean up with concealer but the actual crease and above. Do you have any suggestions? It always seems either too high, too low, or too round, basically like it's in the wrong spot or splotchy. TYSM for all you do! 💕

    • @DanielleNicoleMakeup
      @DanielleNicoleMakeup 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@littleboots9800 ya know I don't think so. It's almost like my brow bone is lower than where my brow hairs grow. This is my TH-cam channel and hopefully you can see what I'm talking about. It's the one thing I haven't mastered. I have been asking Robert for years for tricks haha. It's like where the transition shade is placed and then the deeper shade towards the middle and outter v. Sometimes it just looks wonky like it's too high or too low and either too round or too straight. I would love some advice if you have any ideas 😊

    • @lolakaz
      @lolakaz 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't have a link, but what I've been doing is kind of what Robert recommended in this live, use 2 colors, one lighter and one darker. I use micro brow pencils. I have blonde hair so I use the Maybelline one in blonde and then the elf one in soft brown I think it is? Anyway. I use the lighter color to fill in the shape of the brow and then lightly brush it out so it's not too blocky, especially near the inner part. Then I use the darker one to feather in hair like strokes to create texture. I love the elf one for this because it's not too waxy or soft so you can get nice fine lines and it's not too dry where it pulls or is hard to get a line out of it. I will also lightly brush it out again with a spooly if it is too heavy handed in some areas. You could also use one of the eyebrow brush tip pens for the second step to get the hair like textures. I have super sparse eyebrows and have gotten good at making them look fluffy and full this way. I'm no Robert but I hope that helps lol

    Darn! So sad I missed your live! Maybe you (or one of your lovely subscribers) can answer this question: I like the clear soap brow look, but it leaves a weird "cast" around the top of my brow! I try to remove it, but then I have an even weirder ring around my eyebrow! I usually use the gel, let it set , then use a brow pencil to fill in. Any advice would be lovely! Thanks. p.s. I do the soap wax before i do the rest of my makeup.

    • @tammy_vip
      @tammy_vip 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Have you tried the Patrick Ta major brow lamination gel? It’s the only thing that actually gives me soap brow look (stubborn brows) and it doesn’t leave a cast. I do find brow pencil doesn’t work on top of it too well but brow powder does.

    • @AzDesertFoxx
      @AzDesertFoxx 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@tammy_vip I tried the brown(not clear) Patrick Ta, and it did the same. I hadn't thought to try brow powder, but that's a great idea. Re: pencil- I finally found a pencil I REALLY like, so I'd like to continue using it. I don't have thick brows, but love the soap brow look.

I was told as a teenager that we should wear full coverage to hide the spots but now that freckles are in style (SO weird for me) and I am in my 50’s, I prefer to wear light to medium coverage. I know there is no *right* answer to this, but is there a theory about how to deal with make up over freckled complexions?

    Hi Robert, I came here to say that many influencers spend a lot of time trying to “correct” under eye circles. I have to say I’m a bit puzzled by this. I myself have very distinct purplish green circles but they are a part of who I am ethnically and I think they’re great! You or other MUAs would not want to undo whatever race they are with makeup! Anyway I get it if a person is just tired or dehydrated, but if it’s a permanent feature such as your scar, don’t cover it up! Just my two cents.
