Tuff shine is the best of the best. It’s permanent and you can wipe a white glove on it after it dries. You can always add more or less depending on the shine level you want.

This one does not, it actually has a coating in it that protects the rubber from the sun which makes it not dry rot so quickly. Been using this stuff for years. It also repels water extremely well so it stays on for a while

Used that meguiars gloss for a little bit. It slings badly even after “drying” for me at least, even in a clean tire. If you guys haven’t used it I would try out Chemical Guys tire gloss. Been using that now for months and it never slings. Love their stuff.
@@sw4mp38 typically with different glosses they will “sling” which really just means as the tire spins it will throw the dressing along the sides of the car. Most notable typically on the quarter panels behind the front tires, lower parts of the doors and the forward parts of the bumper behind the rear tires. Some sling from certain products can be a real pain the butt to remove tbh. I got a recommendation from a buddy a long time ago to use wd-40 (not going to damage the clear coat or paint) if you get hardened sling on the car just spray some wd40 on it and the stuff washes right off. The sling only really becomes difficult to remove if you let it bake on the car in the sun. Typically when I used meguiars gloss I would automatically know I’d have to wipe the car down the evening after I apply the gloss from the initial sling. Typically however most sling is caused by a couple factors. -Applying gloss to a dirty tire. The brake dust, rubber sludge combine with the gloss and create a liquid mud that slings down the car. -Applying way to much dressing -Not observing the right drying time Meguiars gives arguably the best shine I have seen on any product but it also slings the worst so it’s a give take. I really like the chemical guys stuff. Not as shiny but no sling for me personally.
Tire shine looks good ,but it can make your tires crack an weaken the sidewalls which carry the weight of you vehicle,,and becoming unsafe to operate according to the use of you vehicle....just a little piece of info concerning your safety
No it doesn’t. It’s the only product it doesn’t slings on my paints. I been using it for a long time and it never slings. Just let it dry for 10-15 min. While your drying your car or applying wax.
The best product for tire detailing! I've test dozen, it's THE one ! You also voul use it on inner wheel arch, plastic become darker and nothing could glue in it onrozd, so clean became easy.

A lot of tyre shines react or get absorb to the rubber, so pick your tyre shine wisely, and remember to never put it on the contact patch, or anywhere if you use a bike 😂

That's why I use water based dressings on tyres and not silicone as I don't want that sand/dust to stick 😂

I've tried all the applicators and found the best thing is an old sock. Not a crunchy catch sock, but just an old regular wearing sock.
