this was a great video. i think my departed wife went to holland michigan to visit her younger sister who lived in a mobile home trailer park in holland michigan. she must have fell in love with Holland michigan in the 1980s. she aj lso thad a tour of europe to visit amsterdam and other cities. she had a dream of meeting a dutch man to partner up with. i met her in 1997 and we both were single and in our 40s. i was born in eindhoven the netherlands in 1956. by 1958 my dad and the family or four immigrated to connecticut in the greater hartford area. and a baby brother was born. in 1964 mom and dad got their usa citizenship papers and dad singed for his 2 dutch born children. and a bonus baby sister was born that year. in 1979 dad took us for a 2 week holiday in the holland the country. since i have not seen the tulip fields of holland my birth country. as a tribute to my departed dad brother and wife i might but holland michigan as a bucket list as i was in Chicago Michigan for a tools show in the michigan. something to put on my bucket list and if my 88 year young mom is fit to travel i should take her also . sound like a cool adventure to see the american version of my dutch heritage. thanks for sharing.
Good Morning Leonard! Now your knocking on my backdoor! Holland and our lakeshore area are very beautiful! I can be in Holland in 45 minutes with good traffic. Nice video! Tulip Fest is big, just a few weeks ago. Thousands of people come from miles away to enjoy the festivities. Have a great day! Keep Spinning and Winning! Cheers....
I live in the Holland area and I have been to some of the places listed. My favorite thing about Holland is the tulip time festival the do in May and lots and lots of cars and cool trailers cruise 8th street in downtown and nearby school districts (ex. West Ottawa and Holland heights) will let their students participate and march in the parade. I have been in the parade myself!
I would love to see the tulip festival. I saw it in Ottawa Canada and it was huge!!! I would like to be a parade! Cool experience. Thank you for watching and commenting!

How do the Dutch walk in those wooden shoes???? 😜
Good question. I think they would hurt my feet. Thank you for watching!
Today there are still people wearing the Dutch clogs. Farmers and gardeners, mainly as the wooden clog is water resistant.

I’m from Holland, just giving you a tip of advice, your pronounced Saugatuck wrong
