If Milwaukee and Madison "should be nowhere near this list," despite their huge varieties of attractions, why should Wisconsin Dells be on it, with its two attractions (natural beauty and tourist traps)? Dells destinations are mostly situated on a few major boulevards - really not in town at all but edge-of-town stuff - very hostile to pedestrians and bikes, and they have one main downtown/tourist street that turns to a ghost town in the winter. 90% of all Dells visitors go in the summer.
