Please don't abandon your channel. I realize that things take time and effort, but I truly believe with your channel, in time you'll see it blossom. I say that because I've been with channels when they only have 3k subs and now have a million. You can do it
Very precise video , this will help me improve my method for making pho, I have been using green cardamom, but finally purchased black cardamom. I have been using oxtail , beef ribs, and beef shank I now realize that I need to remove them when tender at the 3 hour mark. I was also putting the spice packet in at the beginning and leaving it in the whole cooking time . This video has been a huge help. Btw your voice is very calming
Your video has given me the confidence to make this recipe today. I just got back with the ingredients. I’ve been intimidated for so long. I do have a question I hope anyone can answer. Why do you skim the broth the oxtail boils in if you don’t use that liquid at all? It seems like a waste of beef flavor. I’m going to do as the recipe instructs but just curious.
You make it look so easy lol but I think I’d be able to make this with your step by step instructions! Thanks for taking the time and sharing this! My family loves pho😋😋😋
Really good stuff Emily. I can really tell you worked your way out to get the best ingredients for the best meal. I know when a restaurant does a bad job just by telling if the broth taste watery type like. Broth is key.
Saying spice packet isn't that helpful for those of us who have the individual spices and would prefer to know how much of each to add. You didn't even say all of the spices that were in the pho!

Thanks so much! 😊
Will the flavor of the broth change if frozen for later?
I love to try this! OMG...watching you from Austria, Europe. :)
C'est une bonne idée les oignions marinés !
je sais
What was the total cook time for your broth?
Emily sounds like Helen.
Is rock sugar and rock candy, the same thing?
Yes
