i was at this awesome awesome show. the ac had broken and it was hot in there but it only made these guys play even hotter. Jimmy to play amazing leads. robert was spot on and very animated. the only way it couldve been better would be to have bonzo and jones there. sigh
We were there Rod! That fuckin AC! It was hot as FUUUUCK! we kept thinking the AC would be fixed soon! Can You imagine 50,000 people crammed into a stadium!?!?! A concert story to tell the grand kids...
I was there with my son and his best friend...yeah, it was hot as hell, but the music was even hotter. In many ways it was like seeing Led Zeppelin...Jason Bonham manned the drums. I remember the review in the SA newspaper..."overpowering" was the key theme of the article. That reporter nailed it...it was truly overpowering. Definitely the best rock concert I've ever seen. Shame they didn't capture the video, though.
I was there! yes the damn AC was out!!! 50,000++ sweaty Texans under one stadium! The show still rocked! I dont know how we tolerated this because It was still very hot in Texas.
I was there too, wearing the T-shirt as I write! Yes, it was hot, Hot, HOT! I'm a rabid Zep fan, and this was the only time I ever got to see these two live, but believe it or not, I had to go outside twice to prevent heat exhaustion! How Robert and Jimmy managed to stay alive on that stage, surrounded by hot bodies and stage lights is a mystery to me.

That would be the late, great Michael Lee on drums... Was there that night with 2nd row center seats - what a show!

I was at this show as well! I was 16
Me too! I'm so happy someone recorded it...relistening now and I'm all choked up. I miss the 90s, this show, and when life was so much simpler.
SAN ANTONIO ROCKS 🔥
BADASSES 😎
Great concert. Lousy acoustics
.....
Agreed. That dome is not for music.
