Incredible commentary on both how the Palestinian leadership overtime has responded to opportunities presented by legal findings. It was interesting that the will to pursue a “diplomatic marathon” in relation the the found illegality of partition/ the wall was avoided in favour of negotiation with Israel… have I got that right? If so it seems insane given the belligerent political history of Israel that the Palestinian leadership would EVER trust them in any negotiation.
Noura’s final answer which called for collective monuments to enshrind how we feel now in response to this genocide, this call for Art is a magnificent rallying cry for us all to share our humanity and the see in Palestinians struggle a way to Free Palestine in order to “free us all”.
Thank you for publishing this talk.

Noura Erakat is an absolute star!!!
I'm not usually a social media user but have become active on X since Oct 7!
I keep running across pro-Israel users whose profiles read 'Human Rights Lawyer' and it never ceases to give me pause!
Just as the thought of Keir Starmer (or Sir Kid Starver, as many of us in the UK have labelled him), as a Human Rights Lawyer, just blows my mind.
I keep relabelling them 'InHumane Rights Lawyer' as they seem to have no respect, or understanding of fundamental human rights!
Noura seems to embrace everything a Human Right should! Knowledge, Wisdom and Understanding! I could, and have, happily listened to her for hours!

The most significant point about every member of Israeli society being a legitimate target is that almost 100% of the population has served in the IDF!
