- I ride from Wolaita Sodo to Arba Minch, and after I reach Arba Minch, I go around the city in search of a famous offal Ethiopian breakfast. On the way, I meet my friend Wonde. We have dulet together, and then, he takes to a tej place, where we start our day by getting drunk with Ethiopian honey wine.

One tip, always go to a restaurant where a lot of people are eating, that is a sign of quality and food freshness, a deserted restaurant with few people indicate low quality and food not being fresh. This is especially true for butchery
Not always
H 10:10 😅nvvbbml 10:10 cbvhncvncvxbvnnj
the good thing about him is that he is an indigenous traveller showing indigenous lifestyles
the not good part is that he don't give a shit what he eats
and also that he takes advantage of the unjust money system ( on his travels ) ( which is not really his fault i guess but he should know the subject matter )
good luck !
You are a brave man when it comes to food. I stopped counting the many times you calmly accepted your next food poisoning lol
😂😂😂
Thnke you bro viste halala kela veiry good❤ so enjoye
dont lie that ethiopian atm steal ,any foreign country atm steal money as a sense of payment for using ATM
To begin with you are in a country only full of organic, but you are used to hunger in your country ,which is only banana,.next time organize what you eat.
second of all ,if he say piza and burger why do you complain with dulet'', a food you dont know.Just to make wrong emage...fool like you are many.face-red-droopy-eyes
you have to be sick with breAD, BECOUSE IT IS GLUTEN FULL FOOD, YET INJERA IS GLUTEN FREE.. HOW YOU SAY ,TO BE SICK WITH INJERA??? MR WRONG IMAGE MAKER...YOU CAME ON PERPUSE
BY THE Wy he didnt say half cooked, yet you was on purpose to do wrong so he pass you not to argue.
tell your friend that Ethiopian eat gluton free injera not bread
full of organic drink tejj not chemicals like your people😂😂😂
Honestly 😂😂😂
loooooool
You’re really a brave guy going across Africa in tricycle but remember to pray for everything especially for the food they give you, mine is just advice, we all love your vlogs keep up !!!
Dulet is made of chopped organs such as stomach, kidney, liver, a little tail fat and some lean meat with some spices. I don’t recommend eating it raw or lightly cooked.
This guy is very Genuine. always polite to everyone , but also always stand up for himself in tricky situations
Good to see you again Eve am glad your channel is growing I remember I started watching you from the beginning and I hope you reach to millions
You deserve it because you humble and honest
Keep safe and may God bless you 🙏
You got balls Yves, Africa is no joke ;) Safe travels !

Yves I like your boldness to try new things on your way. An amazing and a real adventure person.
Am glad you had some wonderful time in the southern part of Ethio. especially in Arba Minch. You made me to be even more excited to be in Arba Minch which I will be there in 2 months. I also appreciate the way you went with the locals and extracted that was my guide to my trip in Arba Minch.
I have never seen Dullet that rare. You're a brave man!
Dullet is greenish greybin color not red.
@@cumba3551 that’s what I thought. This has other stuff mixed in
yeah man its way too raw. Kino has balls of steel and tiny bit stupid lol
So true , i was surprised too
Dullet is faried lever and some spices added
This is a great episode! More friendly people in this region. You got to stop testing your stomach with undercooked food😁
i mean, it looked very good
@@joaotomas238absolutely not xD
What do you mean this region? What regions where he suffered?
African kids are often told by their poor parents to ask for money when they see a foreigner (ferengi). Sometimes they associate you with NGO groups who go to give food and clothes. Unfortunately, they don’t have a deep conception of your frustration when they say “money, money, money!” Most don’t have any conception of your financial status. As far as they are concerned, you are the poster child of wealth, a man who took an airplane to come and see a distant and poor region. Bear in mind that at least 90% don’t have running water and electricity, let alone the freedom to explore the world. The contrast in Addis is that people are educated and have access to technology; hence why nobody asks you for money. They want to be filmed instead
Wow tanhks bero viste halala kela parke
I am glad you are having a better experience this time around and Wonde was our guide in Arbaminch and I think he did a great job
Pure and raw adventure at the cutting edge. The same goes for the foods you try. Wow, a memory for life 👍 Thx for sharing!

Brilliant video. Love Arba Minch and Gamo in general. People are the friendliest here! The statue at the beginning of the town is being taken down it seems!
❤❤ you enjoy in my home town man.. I like you I see in your channel after 15 years my town borne and raise in Arbaminch now live in USA 🇺🇸
THANK YOU ❤❤❤
Hey, Nice to see you back on the road. That 'Dulet' was medium not well cooked. When you eat in the countryside you need to make sure everything is well-done, very piping hot.
Unfortunately I never made it to Ethiopia during my travels from 1978 until 1985, but hey.....watching your videos is almost as much fun as being there.
you still can go right?
You wouldn’t have been able to then because ethiopia was a Marxist Leninist state under the derg
Any food can be cooked. You can ask by saiying yebsala (coked) lablab (medium rare) Tree (Row) Dulat is a mixture of kidney, red meat, liver, all the stomach except the intestine.
I cannot describe the depth of your dedication and perseverance. You'll be an inspiration to many people who want to follow in your footsteps. I am sorry for the misfortune and bad experiences you have had in my country, but Ethiopia is not like that; Ethiopia is beyond what you have seen. It has been an awesome adventure following you. Keep up the good work.
YOU'RE SUCH A GREAT PERSON..
I LOVE THE WAY YOU DEAL WITH LOCALS .. I AM THE ONE FROM THE ARIA AND WE ARE GOOD AT HOSTING TOURISTS LIKE YOU AND LOCAL VISTORS TO THE ARIA. GAMO PEOPLE ARE MOST GENEROUS AND KIND ....
I travelled to Arba Minch from Addis in 1993.
Was probably one of the first Westerners to visit that area since the 1970’s judging by the Children’s reactions.
Went out on the lake fishing , huge Nile Crocodiles and Hippos everywhere.
Also met a German from Leipzig who was trying to travel the length of Africa on a bike.
Drank too much Taj but ate a wonderful pan fried Nile Perch
Great memories but Ethiopia is sliding backwards after 2 decades of improvement unfortunately
Good Luck
thank you for sharing
SLIDING 😂😂😂😂. YOU'RE A JOKE.
You came a while ago to plunder , defile and enslave !
You ! This guy is a French spy ! Send him back to France !

Yves, this my town in Gamo zone and thank you to be there !
Brave my friend on the food. How many days of revovery?
I wonder if locals get sick too?
I imagine there bodies are use to it.
Its always fun hanging out with locals while traveling...you definitely learn more very quickly.
How would you describe the taste of the honey wine?
Was it a weekend?
Again thanks for sharing your adventure.
You are a rock star there.
Yves, you’re a brave, courageous, and adventurous man. Be very careful eating in very low standard restaurants. Especially raw meat. You can have deadly food poisoning. It’s mostly safe there. But there are always bad people who will not stop from hurting you.
Take care and have fun.
الحمد لله إثيوبيا نظيفه جدا ولا تخاف عليه
No in Ethiopia we never sell died meat
Nobody sells deadly meat in Ethiopia. We are the most selective when it comes to meat in the whole world.
@@BethBirhe-vo5nl All that I’m saying is to be careful. I have witnessed a number of times of people having food poisoning. This is public knowledge. People die from food poisoning around the world. And when you eat raw food, the risk is high. You can google it.
@@AB-py2hjI am an Ethiopian and what you said is 100 percent true
Enjoy my friend but please be carefull Yves! Stay safe.
Dulette is a delicacy made from sheep or goat organs. Amazing vlogs of Dulette is a delicacy made from sheep or goat organs. Amazingly adventurous bike trip in Ethiopia by great adventurer.
Very cool!

100% amazing adventure 👍👍 u are so stong 👍👍wish u good time 👍👍
Gomo peoples they are so friendly with tourists, that is why more tourists visit the city more than other Ethiopian city. The city more gifted with amazing natures Ethiopians call the city " paradise of the earth" that is why the city attracted by more tourist.
I like your new 360 go
i like how you are dead after every end of a trip but you still find energy and spirit the next trip
Hi you remind me a lot of things, me and my families eager always to watch your new video
Do you have a plan to write a book about your trip?
The kid on a bike in yellow called you a “lion”. Quite a compliment 😆.
Keep riding..you are awesome and we love your adventures🎉🎉❤🎉🎉❤🎉🎉❤🎉🎉❤🎉🎉❤
Don't forget to turn on the Arabic subtitles. Many of my family love to watch your travels
💚🌴💚🌴💚🌴💚
The way you are greeted is funny and cute at the same time🤭
You make me laugh when you say I'm dead at every end of a journey 😂
Really nice and fun trip🤩
Yves, they didn't serve you the dulet you were looking for, I mean the classical type made of well cooked stomach. They served you sort of undercooked organ meat. If you return to Addis, I would happy to invite you the right type at my house or at restaurant. And, take care of the security around!
tourists are very gullible sadly, it's the same in every country
You..good hearted man..have you got your camera???... I still obsessed...I really missed you bro...vonboyage to 🇫🇷.....I can't wait to see your next adventure....Asia??
I miss Ethiopia! A friend took me to a tej place in Addis to try honey wine, which I found to be really lovely. I also tried sniffing (or chewing?) some tobacco in Dongala. But it was so strong that I had to lie down until the effects wore off.
Another time come Back
@@Maftuuxmahdi : Thanks. I'm definitely coming back soon!!!

That honey drink looked splendid
Nice video the guy doesn't explain it to you, we have two kinds of dulet cooked and uncooked. A cooked one is mostly used and safe. Very delicious two 😊
Yves, love u from Ethiopia,🇪🇹❤
Yves, you are a brave eater to try anything. Wow!!
You have really a calm character to didn’t punch thief who stole your flag and saying „give me money” like nothing
In this life, one has to be tactful. Would you have punched the guy with your flag?
😂
@Delitewon yes, if you're seeing someone stealing your stuff you still respectful and calm or you're acting?
He was probably just trying to grab a souvenir I guess Yves has become somewhat of a local celebrity. Going around and punching people in a foreign country: this is the wrong attitude.
@@maciekkunicki8712
I have what is call, common sense. You do not go around punching people in strange countries for things like a flag. That can easily be replaced. If the guys pulls out a gun and shoots you, honestly, I would blame you for simple stupidity.
With your mindset, you’re lucky you’re even alive. Some things just aren’t worth it. Yves is a smart traveler and he uses his wits to get around. Do you recall when those guys in Beirut stole from him and they had guns? You know what he did? He ran! You seem like the type that would have returned with hired mercenaries to get back your stolen money. I pray for you…
👍👍i wish u would go to Bale as well
This video did much better than my 5 years travel
I like this men... wel come to Ethiopia...next time I will introduce you the types of traditional meals and drinks here in Addis Ababa

Hey but you are so funny I see people also same like you but I did enjoy on your video I just watch Hold You video it's amazing
"Tejj" is sweet, but very powerful... the way you were drowning it makes you drunk fast.
Good job good man
Thank,s ,,IT IS very interesting .
The thing about dulet is the ingredients used (liver, intestine) can only come from lamb or goat, not cow or oxen. The butcheries slaughter oxen on a daily basis to sell meat. So, that kind of meat is always available. Restaurants don’t slaughter lambs everyday. That’s why a number of them did not have dulet.
Individual families (not businesses) slaughter lambs usually only for holiday occasions.
Hello,Good to see you again yves, and enjoy your trip, stay safe can't wait to see your next adventure. 🙏🙏
