18 years ago I clear coated pinstripes into the 3 coat of clear on my son’s Monte. It never crossed my mind to 600 grit over the stripes. Wet sanded the clear first, but not the pin stripes, before clear coating again. Absolute great to “See” it done the right way. I got luck with the thin stripe with clear over it. Great video, excellent work! Thanks...

Once again done the right way the Sprayway way. there’s Something magical about wet sanding clear after a week and re-clearing , most don’t take the time to do it. You do great work.
@@SprayWayCustoms I built custom high-end pool cues for 25 years . I would Epoxy them , sand that level and than three coats of clear. sometimes I wait a month to wet sand and re-clear.. after all that wet sand level and buff the next day or so.. That second time was always so magical it would have so much depth and level out so clean. I grew up painting everything under the moon so I enjoy watching u spray all the candy’s and stuff..

If you are applying graphics like you are using a top hinge....remember you can apply them letter by letter....just get a pair of scissors and cut in between each letter...your less likely to mess up a job Also doing a top hinge .... squeegee from the hinge to the bottom of the graphic....less likely for air bubbles 👍 Awesome job like your work !!!

That is a very sweet paint job. Yhe decals don't even look like decals anymore, looks like more of a free hand airbrush. Great video and helped me out alot. Looking at painting a flat black and adding decals that are black and Grey. I hope it turns out as good as yours
