Do you keep a planner while you’re at nursing school? How do you organise your week so you know where you are, what exams you have, what you need to study etc? If you do, can you share please? Enrolling in a pre-nursing diploma program later when places become available again.

Well done you Claire, love the idea of your channel. To remind you, I sat behind both you and your chap, at the recent Eric Ho event, just wanted to wish you good luck in your YT journey. Keep it up, very natural and what looks to be some great tips, I would imagine this will prove invaluable to your fellow SN's. I believe your boyfriend has a channel too? if thats the case, good luck to you both. As an aside, I had to dash off on Sat and missed the Sunday, but I hope it proved just as insightful. Evolution of Dave hey David, thanks for getting in contact, and thanks for your kind words. Andrews channel is Andrew Kirby, if you want to get in contact with him, I’m sure he would love to talk. We both didn’t make it to Sunday either unfortunately!! We didn’t know if we could handle it
      Claire:)

@@clairequinn2428 yes ill check him out - love that last statement. I think the important thing with these events is that you take what you need from them, not everything will resonate - good luck Claire

    Hi Claire,
Do you still cycle to placement? It's something I've been wanting to do for a while but worried I'll struggle after a long 12.5h shift on my feet. What about when the weather is icy/snowing would a bike still be worth it? The placement I'm on currently don't have staff shower facilities, will a wash in the sink really be enough (I don't cycle currently so no idea how tiring that would be)? Lastly how does that work if you're placement is community? Do you just cycle to your hub and jump in your mentors car? x

Hi Melissa, Yes! I do still cycle although in the winter it can be tricky. I find it hard some cold mornings but mostly I really enjoy it. I tend to shower either the night before my shift or right before I cycle and then I bring baby wipes and deodorant with me. Its not the most glamorous but it works:) I guess it depends how long your cycle is. Mine is 20 mins each way which is very doable for me. It is also quicker than getting the bus for me. Yes on the community thats what I did. I just arrived to the base and then went out with that particular nurse on that day.
