Goku wasn’t talking to Majin buu, he was talking to the audience (STOLEN)
I'd say both... Buu just wanted a good fight as Fat Buu, so he did love it. He did evil things but he wasn't truly evil at that point, he was like a child who didn't know anybetter. Buu always said, "play with Buu." Once the evil half absorbed fat buu then he was truly evil but still loved and wanted a good fight first and foremost, he was just dirtier and more brutal about it. Kid buu on the other hand wad pure unadulterated evil/chaos who didn't give two shits about a fight or strong opponent, he just wanted to destroy... anyway, I'd say he was talking to Buu before going ssj3 and us, plus he had a goal of having Buu turn against Bobbity and take him out.

On the subject of the va passing out doing ssj3, it was actually according to him, when he was doing super saiyan 4 in dragon ball GT. crazy this man is, literally tore out his throat at times
Yeah, I believe he said it's because it was a great ape roar which is generally deeper, which kills your vocals if you're like him, it's a lot harder to go down so many levels with a somewhat medium pitched voice, on top of a long scream. And I believe they tried doing it in one take, which resulted in a lack of oxygen, so he passed out.
He was OK, it was pretty funny to him.

Piccolo’s voice was more raspy back then. In Kai and more recent games, he sounds more smooth now.
Yeah Chris Sabat is great and all but his vegeta and piccolo have gotten so much worse over the years and they sound so similar now. Vegeta used to actually sound more unique like you had to really listen to tell it was even Chris Sabat nowadays he just does this normal deep voice for everything lol idk...

i mean tbf it is just a 5 minute straight scene of a character screaming to power up, it's awesome but it's also kinda funny, maybe i just find it amusing when shows goes to great lengths to show how fucked the villains are
Also, let’s take a time to acknowledge the fact that while Sean had breaks in between the screaming, goku did not. My man got the titanium lungs.
Nothing beats the fact that in the Japanese original, the equally fierce screaming was actually provided by a nice old lady.

The way I see it, the part of the scene Jack described as him 'devolving and evolving back' was demonstrating that Goku was pushing to the root of his saiyan heritage to bring this power out.
Yup ,that scene meant that the whole life of saiyan from ozaru to a baby goku pulled all of the saiyan power

@@stan52323 Hear him say it in a video interview long ago. Where as he said in a moreso recent article interview that he passed out from recording lines of SSJ4, not the transformation itself (already wrong). SSJ4 has no screaming for the transformation

We were all confused by that image sequence after zooming into his mind. Short version is that Toriama was trying to illustrate that Goku was tapping into some primal saiyan power that's always been hidden deep within in his genes since he was in the womb.
If you watched the show you wouldnt be confused
0:52 difference between ss1 and ss2 goku is a bit subtle in most media.
I feel Raging Blast 2 makes the difference more obvious, but yeah with goku and, espicially, vegeta its mostly just the lightning thats consistent in representing the form.
I remember seeing this for the first time back when it first aired. Nobody knew what goku was doing and the eyebrows still bother me all these years later. Funny part is right before he finishes the transformation they show a closeup of his face and he has the eyebrows but when the flash of light happens apparently the flash was so intense it burned his eyebrows off

Kai is more mature but it sometimes lacks emotion compared to Z.
In my opinion kai only has good music when they use the kikuchi score from the orginal Japanese dragon ball z while the funimation dub for Z has iconic music. Also kai lacks Stephanie Nadonly.

No, actually, it's clickbait. This video is sourced from a DVD set called the Orange Bricks that used to be overexposed on TH-cam because it was the only way to own the series easily and Uncut in the US (the only other option was the Singles and Ultimate Uncut DVDs (which were far superior releases) and they were hard to track down and missed 40 Uncut episodes) and from which the Buu saga is the only one that looks good because the remastering process is awful.

The American Music is the best of DBZ. I’d argue the music is partly why DBZ was so epic on the 90s/Early 00s for American Audiences.

The OG English dub has better dialogue in some cases, it definitely has the better soundtrack, but in terms of actual voice quality, cast, and acting? Kai dub beats it completely and there’s no real contest.

Sean Schemmel does King Kai, Goku and more. Also no, he didn't pass out after this. It took many tries for that scene but it's broken down in multiple layers. Best example of a CONTINUED Goku scream is Battle Of God's "won't let you destroy my world" scene.

The difference between SSJ1 and SSJ2 Goku and Vegeta is a lot more subtle than it was for Gohan. Their hair is spikier and more wild. Goku has 1 thin short bang instead of 3 short wide bangs. Their faces look more angrier, and menacing. They have a darker aura around them and the obvious bio electricity. The form also has no energy setbacks. The only setback is that it makes them more ruthless and aggressive which tends to lead to getting drunks off their power. Gohan has been the only one to show this trait but that’s because Goku and Vegeta had been SSJ2 for years before actually fighting each other
