Stories that bring a chill to my spine are usually psychological, This is no different. Having the capability to slip into madness takes a lot. But. This isn't a psycopath story. It is more or less to a sense of paranoia mixed with the loss of sanity, which is also a scary thing when you look into it.

Damn, seeing such a typically joyful, positive and confident individual or perhaps Pegasus for this matter, in so much deprivation, stress and anxiety is quite genuinely to me one of the most depressing things I've seen any living entity experience. Poor Rainbow Dash.

Seeing the normally confident and proud Rainbow Dash turn anxious and paranoid and end up murdering her friend genuinely unsettled me and made me feel bad for Dash. The wails and crying were also a nice touch to the story, and the emotion in it is effective. Nice reading, Lost. ☺️
I think it's interesting to think about this story occuring before Nightmare Moon was cleansed. Makes sense that, without Luna, some would go mad and do crazy things with the nightmare whispering day after day in their dreams, without any way to deal with it.
This reading was perfect, I got chills all over my body when I heard Rainbow's laugh at the end

I can imagine the scene with Rainbow holding Pinkie as the painting of Ivan the Terrible. Eyes filled with terror and remorse, a body with nothing but a whisper of what used to be life left in it, blood on both parties from the act of insanity. Its heartbreaking, haunting.
17:14 When she yelled in her Dash voice, it was ON POINT! SERIOUSLY! That got me right in the feels and I started bawling. This is an amazing reading and is actually the best in you've done in my opinion. This is scary but SO GOOD
The voice was so good that it was terrifying! I literally had to pause and think what did I just hear and why did it sound so accurate

This was utterly heartbreaking. I've been a mlp fan since the 80s and this darker side is so new to me. It's fascinating! Rainbows vocals were absolutely amazing, you sound exactly like her. The crying and screaming were on point too! It must be difficult to call upon something that would help with performing them. My boyfriend can't listen to these lol but I watch a ton of true crime so I'm a bit more able to stomach it. I'm just floored by all your videos, and how you managed to find voice actors almost indistinguishable from the actual ones is beyond me! Fantastic job, truly ^-^

Whats scary is that Rainbow is just dreaming of what happened to her in a twisted alternate universe. The way alternate universes work, is that, ever decision that you make, a new universe is made for the decision you made, and the one you didn't make. So like, In another alternate universe, Rainbow dash never stabs pinky, cause she never had these dreams, or she got help for it, when her friends told her too.
Such a classic creepypasta, and one of my favorite. The only thing off is the fact that this vid only uses one pic.
I thought Vanna's audio of this fic would be impossible to top, but our Losty's narration is definitely a match.

Oh I just love how everyone here is placing blame on Princess Luna. When she's only one alicorn of the night. She literally has millions of her little ponies' dreams to visit each night. She already overworked as it is. She can't prevent every horrific nightmare.
Through with that said.... the crushing guilt she's going to feel on this one will be quite unpleasant to say the least. Nevermind the fact a pony was murdered on her watch.
Oh my goodness, Lost! You and Mag's acting has gotten to be amazing over the years. (Though with some lines I can still hear the faint cries of you trying your hardest over them xD) decided to watch this to get myself in the *spoopy* mood, and I enjoyed it so much!! The music, sound effects, and especially acting all set the mood of this story! Such a classic. Love you, lost!! (Also I may draw a few scenes from this, is that okay?)

Kind of funny how I was going to read cupcakes but I need a Pinkie Pie voice actor so I decided to read the cough instead. I think I need to hire voice actors for other characters because my impression of Pinkie sounds like Rainbow Dash. My mom refuses to voice Pinkie because she doesn't like fanfics of Ponies dying/cursing. It's a shame because my mom does a pretty good Pinkie pie impression. I'm holding auditions for the part so if anybody is interested they can feel free to audition and send your voice clips to me on Twitter. You don't have to if you don't want to. I'm not trying to be demanding or anything. I just want to be a good creepypasta reader.

Video Maestro yea. I've listened to more of her amazing readings. But when I heard this, it was great. Some parts I gave like a worried or scared look. But then I just got sucked in and I was so mesmerized so I just listened. I'm listening for a second time now. So I'm OK now. She and everybody else do great on their creepypasta/grimdark readings. I always get so enthralled in them.

I used to have reoccurring dreams, just like rainbow dash. I can see how she looked like after these dreams. She looked like me when I had these types of nightmares.
