- Hi there,
Here's a short video of my weekend ride to Siddeshwara Betta (hills) near Kanakapura. This place is 110 kms from Mysore and 95 kms from Bangalore. It's a beautiful place to enjoy some off-road stretch on a motorcycle and the view of the Arkavathi Reservoir from the top was majestic. This seems to be a lesser-known spot.

Thank you. I quite like the way you modulate the speed on not so good roads and the highway, it reflects your maturity. One can make a choice now between a light weight deer of a bike and a pricey buffalo (no offence meant) Thank you for those amazing drone shots. It was not possible a few years ago to see the temple from above !

I see you ride mostly on roads and I suggest you go for sports tourer. Apollo Alpha H1 is what I use.
Yup. Alpha H1 is only available from 150 section, I believe. Alpha S1 is an option. I've decided to try Eurogrip Protorq Extreme for the rear. I'm still figuring out the front tyre that can match with the Eurogrip.
You haven't changed the stock tyres right ? ..which means those tyres are good enough in all terrains ..Sheri Alle chetayi😊 ..❤from Nepal
These are the 2nd set of tyres. The stock tyres were changed at 16k kms. These are not meant for all terrains, tbh. Works well for tarmac.
heard good things about apollo trampler st and reise moto tour r version, have you considered these both.
Yeah, I surfed online. These fall under dual purpose tyre, 70% road, and 30% off-road. I'm planning to stay with sports touring tyre. Reise Tracer, Maxxix Extramaxx, Eurogrip Protorq Extreme, and Alpha S1 are the options I'm considering as these tyres give good grip (dry & wet) on tarmac than dual purpose tyres.
What about the stock tyres? Did they perform well?
They were good enough. The front tyre had uneven wearing, so had to change both together around 16k kms.
Bro my apache 200 4v engine level drops if we ride it hard on 90 to 100 kmph for like 200 kms ,even after toping up the same thing happens after the same usage .
My bike is 9 months old and have ridden 8000 kms
Try changing the engine oil to Motul, Castrol or Shell.
Bro any update on the Schroll Airfilter? What is the sound and mileage you are getting now?
I don't see any significant difference with the mileage, I get the same average of 43-46. The sound of the engine has slightly reduced, making the exhaust sound prominent. I can also feel that the top end refinement has slightly increased.
