To knock out the egg flavor, add a teaspoon of vinegar. That usually takes care of it. If you're making something that tolerates some onion flavor, put some onion powder in there, as it also covers the egg flavor pretty well.

I substitute coconut flour for the almond flour in the Keto Twins chaffle recipe because I have a nut allergy. I cut the measurement in half because the coconut flour absorbs so much moisture. They are really good!

I make a version of the jalapeño chaffle and have many non-keto people love them. I put cream cheese in the chaffle batter, italian seasonings, garlic, onion and diced jalapeños. i sprinkle a little shredded cheese on my chaffle maker, then batter then a little shredded cheese on top, closet the lid. These are so full of flavor, do not taste eggy and their nice and cheesy, crispy on the outside. Sometimes i just use almond flour, sometimes i add coconut flour as well. I will add some water if its too thick. So so yummy. Thank you for your video❤

The thinnest were the closest to potato crispy hash browns I have had in a very long time.

Hi Ladies, thanks for the new chaffle recipes. I don't have a chaffle recipe but how about a pancake recipe? Pork Rind Pancakes! They are so delicious, in my opinion, of course. Recipe: 2 large eggs beaten, 2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream, 1 tablespoon cinnamon*, 1 teaspoon sweetener^^, 1/8 teaspoon salt, 1/2 cup pork rind panko~. Mix well with a fork. Ladle a large spoonful (I don't measure ) onto a hot buttered cast iron skillet and spread it out. I haven't tried other skillets so you will have to gauge the temperature and cooking time with your skillet. They cook fast.!!!! Best to slightly undercook. Don't wait for bubbles like regular pancakes. Avoid overcooking, they will be dry and taste eggy. Top each pancake with butter and Lakanto Maple syrup (pricey but oh so worth it). Best served with bacon and a hot cup of coffee! :) Notes: *A large amount of cinnamon helps mask the taste of the pork rinds, I wouldn't skip it. ^^Sweeteners I use: Swerve brown, Lakanto Monkfruit Golden, or Allulose but use what you like ~I use Pork Rind Panko from Walmart - I find these are ground up well. Using pork rinds instead of nut flours is a nice alternative for some of us since nut flours cause various issues. They will be darker than regular pancakes due to the amount of cinnamon. The number of pancakes will depend on how large you make them; I usually get around 4-5 pancakes about the size of a chaffle. If the batter seems too thick, add a teaspoon of water to thin it. Hope y'all give them a try.

Have you tried the smoked Gouda ones that I had suggested. I use the shredded smoked Gouda from Aldi’s but you can shred your own. I use that some almond flour and egg and that’s it and there’s no egg taste. Can put a little xantham gum but, not necessary
They all look yummy! I used to bake sourdough bread, and a lot of different ingredients can be used to make the bread sour like pickle juice, intant sourdough flavoring powder, and many more. It is convenient to have alternatives on hand. I am anxious to try these ideas! Thanks!
Late to this video, but -- I think it would be really fun/interesting if you tried making a chaffle stuffing recipe. You could even try doing a combo of these 2 recipes to give a little flavor depth. Love you guys 💖

Oooo one more thing I made your crab Rangoon but misread the instructions so instead of 1 6oz Can of crabmeat I thought it said 16 😳 I used 12. I also did not have cutdacarb but did have Joseph’s Lavash (6 carbs for half) I made one. I’ll use the rest for dip with celery as it is a lot of carbs as I’m still trying to lose. But it was fun and really yummy especially with the sauce!!! Thank you again!!
Oh, My. I'd stopped making chaffles as they seems a bit of work for not much satisfaction. To me they often seemed heavy especially when paired with other ingredients. However, I just made the fluffy chaffle with the Lupin and egg white, and I had a turkey cheese sandwich with them and it was delightful. Not too heavy, not overly dense, or super filling. I dunno, maybe I was just hungry, but it was a hefty chaffle, but did not feel or taste hefty.

All those OO flavorings are so bad. Don't bother. There isn't much distinction between all the flavors because of some ingredient they are using in their manufacturing process. The taste of whatever-that-is really overpowers the flavor it's supposed to be (if that makes any sense!). The flavors all have an odd smell too. I've tried a lot of the flavors, which is why I'm putting this out there. We are better off using the extracts, like McCormick or something. I love your chaffles and eat them all the time. This new sourdough recipe sounds tasty. I'm going to try it soon. Thank you for sharing!
Just curious as to why you would leave out the egg yolks since the whites & the yolks work together to make a more complete nutrition (at least this is my understanding).

Oh, My. I'd stopped making chaffles as they seems a bit of work for not much satisfaction. To me they often seemed heavy especially when paired with other ingredients.
However, I just made the fluffy chaffle with the Lupin and egg white, and I had a turkey cheese sandwich with them and it was delightful. Not too heavy, not overly dense, or super filling. I dunno, maybe I was just hungry, but it was a hefty chaffle, but did not feel or taste hefty.
we like making them very thin, use less "Batter" and it tends to make them less dense! :)

I love your chaffles and will try these as well. Serious Keto’s pizza chaffles are very good. I add pizza toppings and broil them. It’s my husbands favorite pizza crust.
Despite noting how much the "sour" flavoring that spilled smelled so bad, did you notice how sad Sarah looked when she said "yeah we never got to try that." Perhaps a do over is needed but at Emily's house this round in case of another "ooops."

All those OO flavorings are so bad. Don't bother. There isn't much distinction between all the flavors because of some ingredient they are using in their manufacturing process. The taste of whatever-that-is really overpowers the flavor it's supposed to be (if that makes any sense!). The flavors all have an odd smell too. I've tried a lot of the flavors, which is why I'm putting this out there. We are better off using the extracts, like McCormick or something.

Just curious as to why you would leave out the egg yolks since the whites & the yolks work together to make a more complete nutrition (at least this is my understanding).

What’s the reason for the baking sheet under the waffle makers?
Incase it drips, but also the countertop is busy and it makes filming easier
Depending on the batter but sometimes the cheese can have oil in it that can drip out
