Lee, you are an amazing man....I remember the first video I saw of you, you had a couple of dogs in a house, and you rescued this really hugely chubby German Shepherd and you helped him to lose weight. I was blown away by your kindness, your dedication and your love for the animals. God bless you for all you do.....you are an example for the world.
I wish there could be more Lee Ashers in the world 😇 thank you for your grate job for the best and holy creatures on this planet 🙏 Kind regards from Austria ❤
Lee thank you 🙏, thank you 🙏, thank you ❤for not giving up your dreams for the love of those fur babies that need you!! We all need you too!!! Even though it was a year ago with your sadness for loosing Stella it stroked hard in my 😢heart. We love you Lee, it’s remarkable what you are doing!!!! God bless
I'm sitting here with a pint of ice cream, ugly crying with my pomeranian Coco trying to lick my tears while watching your video. You are such a beautiful human being and such a blessing
After losing my Pom (he was 14) I was given a black Pom and her name was Coco but I’ve always wanted a female dog and always loved the name Willow. She was 2 when I got her and has adapted to her new name very quickly, she’s 5 now and is the most affectionate dog I’ve ever had and I can’t imagine life without her.
Thank you for doing such a brave thing: explaining to us what grief feels like. Don’t listening to some who tell us it will pass. The love, the commitment, the dedication, the confusion you feel is real. All of these feelings are authentic and those wonderful animals deserve what you’ve built.
You have honored Stella and Sammy with the creation of the Sanctuary. The love you carry for them has expanded to all of the sweet creatures you care for. You have allowed us to have a window into your life and it is heartwarming and uplifting. I have my own frosty faced blue pit bull named Stella and we too are coming to the end of our journey together. Cherish every day you have, love with all your heart, and carry those wonderful memories with you always. Thank you, Lee Asher, blessings to all at the Sanctuary.💕
You need and i hope will receive 30 + hugs from humans and 200 happy doggie licks. Within a very few days. I am so glad you are who you are. I am sure your fame has spread far and wide amongst doggies far and wide. Be brave and courageous and keep on.
Stella was an angel on earth who is now in heaven. I have two rescued Pitbulls and they are my world. Tears dripping off the end of nose writing this. Stella was loved and she knew that and that is something so wonderful 💖 💖😥
We love you too. Stella and Sammy are missed, but they were so loved. My little man Chewy in the profile photo got cancer last year and we lost him. He was a 16 yr old Cocker Spaniel Dachshund mix. The coolest dog ever. I miss him every day. Keep doing what you do. You are a gift from God my friend. ❤️🐾💕🐾❤️
You are a blessing!! To your animals and us! Your vision is truly from God. You make a difference every single day!! I love how happy your animals are and the beautiful sanctuary that you have built!! Keep going and doing so much good strong man!! We all need you!💕💕🐾🐕🦺🐈⬛❤️
We love you too Lee for all you do with the animals. It is a lovely place that you've found and the pack will thrive with you. As to those you lose they have served their purpose in this world and they will continue to enjoy their existence in the hereafter and they will continue to inspire you and the pack. You feel the loss because by feeling the contrast of happiness we appreciate the joy better. May you continue to have strength to enjoy the good work that you do. Many blessings❤️🐾🐄🐂🐕🐈🦓❤️🤗🙏
Blessings to you and your pack. Soar, Stella, Soar. I lost my 6 year old rescue pit bull Max to cancer. He seemed fine until that one awful day, he was not fine. He was the most traumatized shut down dog I had ever seen and became the best, sweetest most wonderful dog once he realized he was safe, in his forever pack of love. Stella led you to your mission, vision and dream of The Archer House. I am so sorry for your sense of loss. I feel your heartache.
Thanks for sharing your story. I lost my gray and white pit bull and am putting together my plan to start a sanctuary in the Bay Area in his honor - very inspiring - here I go!
And while you were speaking, Lee, I was watching your Pack Members sniff, explore, and socialize with each other. Which is an even greater lesson on How to Be than what you were saying. Thank you for giving the lesson of the day (which is the same love-filled lesson you ALWAYS give) and showing your care for all of us, as always. Woof! 🐶💓💓💓
Thanks for this video. I think that those of us who were wounded at some point in our lives can see the wounds in a rescued dog. I can be with a dog where ever they are. You are a man with heart and I am thankful that you are willing to share that with us.
Stella and Sammy were two little slices of heaven covered in fur. And now they're up in heaven amongst all the other fur babies lost but loved so dearly. Two terribly painful losses which turned into so much being gained through the sanctuary. They're still with you Lee, always walking by your side in spirit, with the rest of the pack. You're a wonderful human being ❤
Lee, at your age, the emotional wisdom you have is beyond extraordinary. To be able to articulate the feelings you have and to share them with us is such a gift. If EVER I'm feeling low because of my personal situation and the state of our world, I know exactly where to look for relief. You are an inspiration and we all appreciate you and your family. xoxo Jill 🇨🇦
Lee, your a humble and kind human being. No one is perfect, we all make mistakes and God willing we learn from the first one and keep pushing forward. It's about never forgetting where we come from and who we are as individual's. The animals are grateful and you can see that clearly in each video you upload, your staff is grateful as well or else they wouldn't be there. Just keep doing you and being you, people can either appreciate your honesty or not. Thank you always for being a kind and honest person with emotions.
Isn't it amazing how much an animal can teach a human about love, forgiveness and resilience? May the Lord bless you for the wonderful life you've granted to all these beautiful furry gifts from God! You will see all your beloved pups in heaven one day where they will be restored to perfect health and roam and run throughout eternity with you!🫶🏼🐶
People like you are rare. I am so grateful you are on this planet. The animals need you and you need them. We all need you to show us how we are all connected and what love and compassion is all about. Thank you for being who you are.
Keep dreaming and KEEP GOING! Thank you for hanging in there and not giving up. God has GREAT plans for you and your 4 legged family. We love you Lee! You bringhten my days.
Cheers to your own resilience my friend. Stella would be extraordinarily proud of you as you were of her. StayBlessed Lee. You’re giving Stella and all of your dogs an honorable adventure. 🐾❤️👣
Lee your heart speaks to our hearts. God surely blesses you my man. You know we are never ready to let our loved fur balls go - but we do. And we do what is best FOR THEM. As hard as it is we somehow do what is best FOR THEM. I try to keep in my heart that they know they were much loved and I am with them till the end. They place themselves in your heart and take a piece with them as they journey ‘home’. You are much loved Lee and you don’t know how much you hold us up. You are here for such a special purpose and we are grateful. Be safe and enjoy your pack good sir. I believe those who have left our sides physically walk with us in spirit. 💖😒💜. Stay safe.
I appreciate you sharing this story. Listening to the losses, to your loss of loving animals, just crushed me. You kept it together better than I, and you're telling the story on camera. Brought me back 6-years, to the loss of my super-dog, "Sammy", a black Lab. As I have always been an animal lover, I've realized that it is the protection and care of these valuable lives that reminds the "little boy" in me of the lack of same that I experienced, and attempted to provide for my pets. Your narrative, as expressed herein, is inspiring; finding the meaning in the pain. I've imagined living in a wood cabin, on plenty of land, with as many animals (dogs) as could be well cared for. I would like to help you, The Asher House, and especially the dogs, who are as innocent as children, and deserving of love and care. I have trained as a mental health therapist, have always had great compassion for animals, and would like to come to Oregon and help. As you stated your "just getting started", please let me know if/how I may be of assistance. I want to dedicate my life to helping save animals, and be part of a pack. If you read this, and are interested in low-cost help for your great cause, I'm seeking a cause to dedicated myself to. I am able to relocate, and am not saying this in jest. Please respond to this comment and I will provide contact information so that we can communicate about such an arrangement. When the question, "what would you die for/thus live for" comes to mind, it is only helping animals that makes any sense anymore. If this is not of interest to you, then I'll be wishing you, The Asher House, and its inhabitants the very best and enjoying your videos.
Yes, yes yes. Your feelings matter Lee, and your strength is that you know how to use that to do what you do. What a wonderful life you have built for yourself and the dogs, and to think that there is more good stuff to come - I can't wait. Much love and blessings from Australia.
I GREATLY appreciate you sharing your stories of Stella and Sammy. Our beloved Golden Retriever Zach passed away of cancer and I miss him terribly. I know there are so many lessons he left me and I must treasure them in my heart. Again, thank you for sharing your stories. Thank you for saving all your now beloved fur babies!
Thank you Lee for never giving up, in the midst of devastating pain & loss. Covid destroyed so many families. Your paw family learns from you too. They feel loss too & yet they could feel your pain with your pain and all of you grieve together and they saw they weren't going to loose you & their home. You kept your family together, in the midst of sorrow, loss of home and all that came with that. I needed to hear about your courage in the midst of responsibility. I try to always trust God, but I say i need someone with "skin on" & He sent you Lee. I needed to hear you & see how courageous you are. You are such an awesome dad. Father's Day is just around the corner. I pray your paw kids Celebrate you Lee, with extra love. ♥️🙏
I think you're awesome. What you do in showing so much love to fur babies who can't speak for themselves or never felt love, I just want to come out there and play with all the babies
Hi Lee. Words are insufficient to describe how much I feel for you. I'm so sorry for the loss of Stella. You gave her the best life any dog could wish for. I know all too well how you feel as I lost my "heart" dog not long ago. I admire you for your resiliency and selfless dedication to all your animals. You are the richest man in the world surrounded by all that love. Your compassion and love is what makes you an amazing man. We love you. Be well and keep doing the amazing things you do. We are blessed to know a human being like you. Take care and hugs and kisses to everyone.
Dude you are my hero and my name is Lee… I am about to follow in your footsteps steps! Thanks so much for the courage! And Stella will always own your story …. Rest in peace sweet Stella…. Just look at how you believed and sti;; believe in your daddy, RIP
I usually watch your vids with a giant smile on my face. This one was watched with tears rolling down my cheeks. The worst part of falling head over heels in love with a fur baby is the loss. Bless you for persevering and continuing your journey of love.
Same for me…can’t stop sobbing. My fur son is also susceptible to seizures and he’s 15 1/2…his sunset is coming, but I am so hurting now. Take care, Lee!!!
Lee, you will never give up no matter what. The sanctuary is your life, the animals are your life, hopefully you will never want to change anything. You are an inspiration to many many people, you encourage so many people to be kinder to animals. If you can change the way people think and act, you can save so many animals by just being you. I haven't changed because I have always loved animals, I just wished I could have set up a sanctuary because I really do prefer animals to humans. Lol. I rescued mostly cats, dogs, birds and rabbits and luckily I had a big enough garden to house them in. Given the opportunity and the cash, I would have done exactly what you have done. Keep strong, keep safe and keep doing what you are doing. Bless you. Xxxx
I found you watching the Dodo and wanted to tell you that I have a picture of a dog named Stella in my collection of 700+ pics on my laptop's screensaver. There was a woman on Google+ who used to put pics of dogs that needed to be rescued on her profile and then I would in turn put them on Twitter for more people to see. I also came from Cali 30 yrs ago and reside in OR too now and have dreams of having a sanctuary for any type of animal in need of help. Growing up I wanted to become a veterinarian but after my sis became a vet tech and told me how most of the vets treated the animals and my dad discouraging me and telling me to be an attorney I abandoned the idea. You have renewed my hopes of helping animals in need and would like know more about how a sanctuary is run. Gonna watch as many of your vids as possible and will check out your websites to learn more about Asher House and your operation. Thank You for all you do for God's greatest gift the animals of this earth, you truly are a gift to them. L&L 2U always Lee
They are not here long enough and there is never enough time.. my heart is broken for you and Stella..💔you must know the time you have spent with Stella is what you are all about. Your sanctuary will come together ❤ you will make a difference.. I think I love most of all is seeing you with your doggies 🐕taking your walks and watching those precious faces run to the water the wagging tails and listening to your thoughts and words of wisdom..you are truly a special ❤man. Stay safe..hug the doggies..I look forward to watching all of your adventures with the pack.. 🐕🐕🐕🐕
Thank you Lee for everything you do. I enjoy watching your videos even the ones that are sometimes hard to watch. Why? Because of who you're and what you stand for and of course for the babies. I love when you talk baby talk to them and smoosh them with kisses. I love your passion. You know each one of your babies went through hard times to get to their slice of heaven called Lee Asher. If you didn't do it you never would have seen them and they wouldn't have you. You are definitely doing what is your calling. Stay strong. We all love you.🙋🏻♀️🐱🙏🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕
I lost my frenchbulldog (Pippa) to a brain tumour (glioma) last year. Watching her go through those seizures was heart breaking. I fully understand your pain with Stella. We went on to adopt a pug (Nova) from pug rescue. Crazy thing is that he and pippa were born on the same day. You do great work and inspires a person to adopt.
Thank you for sharing that lovely store about Stella. Pretty Awesome what she inspired you to do and to Accomplish! I am so sorry about her passing away, but she crossed Rainbow bridge knowing how deeply she was Loved. Thank you Lee for All that you do! 🙏
You are an inspiration .I have 2 pittiemixes SO FAR but would never turn down a animal in need ,which is why my roommate and I have rescued 4 kittens in the last 2 weeks(one of whom still had the umbiblical cord)and found them homes.Keep on doing what you do .The world and animals need people like us!
While you feel like you need to be strong for all of us out here, what you need to understand is we are here for you. You can be honest with us and show the real you because everyone on the plant has good days and bad days and people trust people who are honest. When you shared what happened with Stella and then again with Sammy you gained the trust of so many people because you were being honest with your emotions. So many of us are are taught to keep our emotions close so we don't upset anyone but screw that, if people can't handle your emotions, your good days, or you bad days, they don't deserve to be part of your life. I am so happy that you have achieved so much in such a short period of time and I am glad that you are continuing down that road to bigger things. :)
I'm so sorry. It's so awesome that you focus on the good that came from this, and the wonderful world of comfort and happiness that you gave Stella, and what she gave to you.
I will never give up on you and all of the beautiful fur babies of all kind I love watching your videos and you are amazing and all of the fur babies are amazing because you all bounce off of each other and I love how spiritual you are you attached what you put out to the universe and God ❤️💙❤️💙❤️💙❤️💙❤️💙❤️💙❤️💙❤️💙
Stella was my moms name. She passed away last July. God bless you Lee and your pack. You have a special place in my heart and my families heart. We love you and what you do. We support you as much as we can.
You are such an inspiration. I’m at the lowest point of my life… 60 years old, husband dying of cancer, caring for him / was doing Lyft on the side until my car was totaled. We’ve worked all our lives to end up here. All our funds are exhausted and his grant for chemo meds ran out. Our sweet dogs keep us going, but 1 is near the end. Things have never been so dark, but you give me hope. Thank you 🙏
Rebecca you are the inspiration! Never ever forget that. I'm praying for you and your husband. Its so hard being the caregiver I know first hand I take care of my mother. I wish I knew how to help you and your husband with your situation medically and financially cause I certainly would. Have you tried contacting your local health department about your husband's medicine and needs? Maybe there's a grant or something you can apply for since you take care of him and he has cancer. Idk I know I'm no help and I'm rambling on and on. I'm so sorry, all I can offer is if you need to talk and just unload I've always got a ear to listen.
@@carrie14u2nv Thank you so very much for your words of encouragement and support, Brandy. I certainly didn’t intend to pour my heart out & surely never expected such kindness - truly, I thank you. Bless you, for taking care of your mother; I know this is no easy task. I was responsible for my mothers care @ a nursing facility, and that was difficult enough. (She passed away in 2015.) We are continuing to search for another grant, but have had no success - we’ll keep trying. Thank you, again, for being a shining light & a beacon of hope. I can’t tell you enough how much I appreciated it. 🙏🌷🌻Becky
Only Stella’s physical self left you. Her soul and spirit lives on in every blade of grass, brick and tree of your sanctuary. Each dog saved is Stella’s work through you. Good luck with your vision. Life is ahead of your and your pack of lovely four legged friends ❤️❤️
I feel every emotion you're expressing in this video. Stella was an amazing dog. I had a pitbull who stayed strong for me too. It's incredible how well they communicate and understand without ever saying a word. He had osteosarcoma in a very odd place so I had no idea. Once he knew I knew, he let me know he was ready to cross the rainbow bridge. I had less than 24 hours from the time he broke his leg, we found out about the osteosarcoma and he told me he was done fighting. He went to sleep peacefully in my arms. Leaving and losing him was the hardest thing I've ever done besides telling my ten-year-old daughter her daddy had passed away.
I have just found The Asher channel with Lee, just when I needed a light in my life. I lost one of my oldest and dearest friends that I have done rescue with for over 25 years. I feel so lost. Your a t true inspiration and your dedication to Animals makes me feel that when idays seem to turn dark. Find that light , Lee your my light! Not sure how I found this channel. But it's amazing that when I needed someone real that believed what I believe was their. With inspiration ! Your a true blessing to Animals and people.. I have been through so many of the same things you have gone thru and you keep going shinning bright! Truly real no BS channel. Thanks for being you and doing what you do! God bless!
Love you too Lee! You do inspire us and we are here for each other. Because of you, I rescued my dear Reggie 9 months ago. Having my sweet happy pass I downtown know if I could love a dog again but been following you and yes I can and save a sweet dog who deserves love. 💕💕💕
Hi, Lee, thank you for what you do. Please continue saving dogs. I shared your channel in my facebook account. I pray for your best health to keep going. we love you. we cry with you when you are sad and down, we smile with you when you are saving abused dogs.
I came late to knowing about The Asher House but I did binge watch all your videos and I felt so bad about Stella even though it happened a while back. I also felt bad about Sammy, the thought I always remembered about Sammy was when you and the dogs were all in the car and you were on your way to the groomers and Sammy farted. I remember having a particularly bad day and this made me laughed so hard and I remember you teasing him and telling him to" hold in the toots" when he was at the groomers. i don't know why I am mentioning this but maybe it's because they have moved on but their memories still brings a smile to my face.
I'm so very sorry for your tremendous loss OMG. Lee My thoughts and prayers are with you and your pack and with Stella and Sammy they are in God's sanctuary now and keeping an eye on you their Earth Angel😇🙏🐶🐾🐾🐶🐾🐾😢🍷 love Ya hugs from your friend in Pennsylvania💖💗❣️
Your legacy is gonna be something you’ll never be able to comprehend. Live one day at a time. … I have a belief I share with fellow dog lovers…. When you have a animal that you love that passes have no worry… Because when you go to heaven animals that loved you and you loved when you were alive are the first greet you! Then the humans come. Your doing wonderful work Lee.
Hello Lee, I sure know your pain about losing your dogs. Recently, we had to say goodbye to 3 of our dogs. They all were sick. My little female Penny at 16 got a brain tumor. Hobo her son 14 had an enlarged liver , and TiChien 15 got a kidney disease. We started with 5 dogs. The first to go was my ❤️ dog also a son of Penny's, milou ,different litter. He was 13 and had pancreatic cancer. We are left with Rockie who is 10, a rescue( along with Penny) heartbreaking to say the least. Although we plan on rescuing more, it is not easy losing 3 in 2 months. 💔💔💔💔 you are amazing for doing what you do. I'm 67 and my husband is 71 but we love dogs and we will have more but right now we are grieving and enjoying Rockie. God bless you for being there for all these dogs and may He give you strength to continue.
This makes me remember all the dogs we had over the years...I miss them so much after all this time. My world gets smaller each time they pass. There's nowhere for the love to go anymore.
I was 12 when my miniature pincher got out and got hit by a truck flying by! She had internal bleeding and there was nothing the vet could do, I was so traumatized and felt so physically I’ll but I stayed strong for her during that little bit of time we had left together and made sure I showed her how much I loved her. God I still can’t believe it. Animals are such pure creatures and it’s honestly a privilege to be able to be loved by them!
Im so so Sorry❣️ 😭😭💔💔💔💔 I love ur fur babies..... I can not stop crying... GOD BLESS SAMMY and BEAUTIFUL STELLA...🌈🌈🌈 You beautiful baby you have ur wings fly and be free.. Thank you for giving them so much UNCONDITIONAL LOVE ❤️ ... YOU ARE A WONDERFUL PERSON.... I WISH I COULD DO THIS.. I LOVE ANIMALS... ❤️
World needs millions of people like you! 👌🏻👍🏻🌹

Thanks for sharing your inspiring story of resilience, hope, and love.
Everything you speak goes straight to my heart.
I am so sorry about Stella.Thoughts and prayers for you and your pack. RIP Stella.
❣❣❣❣❣

Still believe 🥰
Gratitude is an amazing choice…and I try to make that choice daily. Blessings!
Vous êtes un être d Exception, Monsieur, tant de tendresse à donner à ces louloutes qui vous adorent, merci pour ce pur bonheur 😍😍😍
I usually watch your vids with a giant smile on my face. This one was watched with tears rolling down my cheeks. The worst part of falling head over heels in love with a fur baby is the loss. Bless you for persevering and continuing your journey of love.
Same here.👵
Same for me…can’t stop sobbing. My fur son is also susceptible to seizures and he’s 15 1/2…his sunset is coming, but I am so hurting now. Take care, Lee!!!
I concur. I started crying myself hearing the story. I love watching his videos.
I'm a newer viewer...I respect your candid nature. Live ur best life, in Stellas memory. Adore you and your pack. God Bless.
Bless you. Xxxx
You really made me cry, man! My heart is with you...love from INDIA❤️❤️❤️
You are the best Lee. Promise not to forget to feel what you feel. You don’t have to be strong all the time. I want to hug you. 🐶
This guy is what all men should aspire to be. Such a kind soul!
Agreed. Absolutely a heart of gold. 💛
I'm so sorry. It's so awesome that you focus on the good that came from this, and the wonderful world of comfort and happiness that you gave Stella, and what she gave to you.
You are an incredible human and beyond inspiring. Thank you for being you and for all that you do. You make the world a better place. 🐾🐾🐾
Look at Butters & Callie ...all the dogs...standing next to their Poppa while he's telling the story...so beautiful.
🙏🌷🌻Becky
You keep doing what you do! The pack depends on you, but you have given them the best life!! Stella and Sammy RIP
Only Stella’s physical self left you. Her soul and spirit lives on in every blade of grass, brick and tree of your sanctuary. Each dog saved is Stella’s work through you. Good luck with your vision. Life is ahead of your and your pack of lovely four legged friends ❤️❤️
I second your comment, Very well said.
God bless!
What a great reminder to take time to realize just how far each of us has come in our own Sanctuary Journey.
Your dogs are my dogs. I am crying tears for you. Love you buddy 💕
"Find the beauty in the pain". Great quote Lee. I'm going through something horrible right now and have extreme life changing decisions to make.
I'm sorry you're going through something so difficult, and I wish you the best.

Love you too Lee! You do inspire us and we are here for each other. Because of you, I rescued my dear Reggie 9 months ago. Having my sweet happy pass I downtown know if I could love a dog again but been following you and yes I can and save a sweet dog who deserves love. 💕💕💕
That pressure is what forms diamonds, your mission & sanctuary is the diamond 💎❤
You got it …. This is what makes them happy and healthy ! Improve them n provide such love….💕 from the heart
Im so so Sorry❣️ 😭😭💔💔💔💔
I love ur fur babies..... I can not stop crying... GOD BLESS SAMMY and BEAUTIFUL STELLA...🌈🌈🌈
You beautiful baby you have ur wings fly and be free.. Thank you for giving them so much UNCONDITIONAL LOVE ❤️ ...
YOU ARE A WONDERFUL PERSON....
I WISH I COULD DO THIS.. I LOVE ANIMALS... ❤️
