Some people who have animals (and shouldn't) just don't give a thought to the animals when they become inconvenient for whatever reason ..... and they just abandon them ...... it is so much easier than spending some time on the phone calling around to find some place safe to either take them to yourself or have them come and get the animals you no longer want to be bothered with. Deadbeat pet owners are as bad as deadbeat parents.

Llamas are frequently “employed” as guard animals for sheep herds (maybe even for cows), as they can be quite protective, and fierce, if need be. So, yeah, the sheep were stickin’ by their personal guard. 🦙 ♥️ Llamas tend to be pretty sensitive animals as well, and, as we saw here, can run pretty fast. Love their faces.

Thankfully they were able to capture the llama when they did or else he would have run across a very busy road and caused harm to himself or a driver. Good job to both animal sanctuaries!!

My former neighbors are alpaca breeders. They had a few llamas who’s jobs were to guard the alpacas and their cria from the coyotes, and of course any possible intruders, such as rustler’s & thieves! They take their jobs quite seriously too; spit, kick, stomp, and bite!
This video had me in stitches! Sorry Lee. But he did kinda look like he was having a ball, right?
Once he got to the sanctuary though, the llama had this look as if to say “I cannot believe my freakin’ luck man!” Then struts around like he owned the joint! Beautiful.

Aww, they are sweet! Love the big guy! Nice job guys! May this year bring you peace and prosperity as you save the animals! Blessings and respect. 👵🙏💖🍀🍀😁😁...Toni's a sweetheart too. The llama looked pretty interested in his surroundings once he got home, and the sheep will feel better when they have a few lbs. of fleece cut off of them.👍

I always heard llamas and camels will spit in your eye.
I love them. So full of personality and sheep are so gentle.

Thanks for sharing. I can’t wait to see how they integrate with the other animals. It seems like the llama and sheep were a family , hope they can stay together!

This is one of the funniest rescues ever. They're not usually I know but the way the huge llama just stands there with the sheep and he has such tiny legs and a huge upper body. Anyway thank you for cheering me up. I love the way the sheep follow him everywhere.

Job well done! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼Tony's presence definitely aided the process🥰 It's so cute how they stick together💝 They don't know how blessed they are to be a part of your family yet but they'll figure it out soon. Your heart is as big as it is gold. God bless you and all the babies he has placed in your hands🙏🥰 You are their angel daddy 😇

Poor guys. I was raised on a farm and chasing animals never works well. It only alarms them. But I understand the difficult situation you are in. I can't believe that guy jumped the fence! I'm glad he did not get hurt - that could have been disastrous had he got his leg caught or something. Now time for some trust building and lots of love, as you normally do!!!

Geez, if Lee keeps it up he’s going to have to build a textile mill to deal with all the sheep, llama and alpaca wool! Either that or he could get a big pack of goats and run a goaty land-clearing operation…both could be a way to cover the costs of running such a big sanctuary. Credit to Lee for tackling the llama, that’s a pretty tough animal to take down if they are moving!

A llama will be a great "watch dog" for your farm, Lee! I had to laugh a bit - it looked like he was actually "pronking" which means he may have been making fun of you all being unable to catch him!
