How do I install the slide release with the short stroke kit? I own the nexx speed slide catch at I am unable to pull the slide back far enough for the slot which was missed out as a problem in the video. It just magically goes on
Not sure if it's just me, but this slide was a nightmare to get on my stock marui 5.1 frame. The tab on the front of the slide that holds the hopup in place is a little too thick and hits the inner walls of the frame. Since it's so tight it prevents barrel wiggle, but i had to use a rubber tipped hammer to tap it in, and i'll definitely need to use the same hammer to get the slide off. I waited 2 months to get this shipped to me, and I'm beyond dissapointed. Edit: They also didn't include a guide rod plug, which is kind of important and advertised as being included in all of the promotional pictures.
@@Goflyingbear It seems like it's that tight by design to prevent wiggle, so you'll probably need to tap it into place with a hammer if you can't do it by hand.
I bought this not long ago and my TM hopup broke so know i swapped for an AIP and the slide doesnt go in all the way. I guess i gotta push harder?! Or use a sort of soft hammer to push it in. I really didnt wanna break it but it seems its just what i have to do.
@@ctmtac4432 I’m not really sure if I can just run the internals stock like I see you guys using a lot of stuff and I’m broke and I wanna see if I can just use the long slide without having to get new parts because for hicapa you have to get a new outer barell for a slide to fit in

Just received a pre-built 5.1 cappa from Take One Aisoft with this split slide and haven't even fired it yet because it has so many issues wrong with it. I don't know if it's the slide it's self or the builders fault, I just know I'm probably going to stay away from these. But I do enjoy my Fukku 2 uppers.
Did you lubricate the new slide? I know it seems given but i made that mistake with my first new slide. Also take the wheel off of the hop up and maybe sand down the non tilting block if theres a clearance issue there. Mine works great i love it! @warwolveairsoft
@ctmtac4432 make sure to tell people to take off hop up wheel but KEEP THE HOP UP ARM ON, i didnt catch that at first. Also to lubricate the new slide! I almost broke mine when i put on a different slide for the first time because i didnt know much or even consider lubricating it!
How the heck did you get this so soon I preordered from la capa customs on the 14th of last month and it still hasn’t shipped or had any activity at all.
Does the slide have a set screw for the TDC hop wheel? There was a screw at top back of the slide that looked like it could set the adjustment of the TDC hop wheel. That must just be where the clicker resides, but I am curious if you could screw that in to firmly set hop adjustment?
The only thing that has me skeptical about the tdc design is not fully understanding how it works with hop up units. with a normal hop up unit, using a tdc to push down on the hop arm seems like it would have resistance from where the hop wheel is set. On a hop up unit like a nexx speed or lacrappa, theres a screw in the wheel that keeps the hop arm in place which would prevent the flatline’s tdc from even working. The only way i can understand this built in tdc would work is if the arm or wheel was removed. Please clarify so i can just preorder this thing already before theyre sold out everywhere like every other new slide that releases
Don't worry, it's compatible with original TM hop unit, you only need to remove the hop wheel. However, it's designed for TM hop unit, so we don't guarantee the compatibility with other aftermarket hop units
hi my hi capa doesnt have that lil space for the non tilting block will it still work or do i need to get another frame part
It's better to put the FLATLINE on a mid-frame that does not have a notch. So it's totally okay for your case

there's a set screw underneath it, you will be able to see it once you remove the recoil spring guide cover
You recommend fitting the short stroke kit but is it essential? If the slide lock is needed/wanted can the short stroke kit be left out?
Just install fewer buffers if you wish to keep the slide catch

normally, yes. but if you run into any trouble, they are very easily to remove

Yes, you can check the explosion diagram on our website, we use a steel ball, and a spring to hold the TDC wheel and a set screw to lock them in place
