I'd recommend govt electrification as a backup. Two reasons: (1) You will have a power backup in case of emergency. (2) If everyone utilises grid power and govt slowly transforms to 100% renewable energy, this would be greener option compared to recycling lead acid batteries every once in a while in your 3KVA solar system.
Secondly, explore passive cooling options. If you grow large evergreen trees around the container, you will get shadow on top. Combine this with an extra layer of thermo-reflective material on top of the container to cool it down. Then, the ambient temp directly above the roof and its surface temp would be 5-20 degrees lower than what it is now.

தென்னை மரத்தை சுற்றி ஒரு 4” பிவிசி பைப்பை வட்டமாக இரண்டு அடி ஆழத்தில் புதைத்து வையுங்கள். அதில் ஒரு 16 mm ஓட்டை போட்டு அதனுடைய கனெக்ஷன் மேலே மண்ணுக்கு வெளியே வையுங்கள். அதில் சாப்பிட்ட பழங்கள், மண்புழு, மாட்டு சாணத்தை ஊற்றினால் நீர் நேராக் மரங்களுக்கு செல்லும். கிட்சன் வேஸ்ட் நீரை ஒரு தொட்டியில் சேர்த்து அதில் ஒரு பம்ப் போட்டு சொட்டு நீர் பாசனத்திற்கு வழி செய்யலாம். காற்றாலை மற்றும் பேட்டரி பாக் உதவி செய்யும்.

Is it a coincidence or what !!!....we were thinking to build a small holiday home in the coconut grove to relax at the week-ends, and i see this video and very much inspired with your shipping container house; it looks small from outside but inside looks great with enough space. Heat is no problem, and you can mulch with hay or other materials on the ceiling; or you can fix the polystirene squares throughout the ceilings inside the house. It would be helpful to the viewers if you could give the total cost of the contaner home from the container to solar pannel to septictank..all together from A to Z !! Thanks Felix. The name for this house... i say, Holy House or HOLYHOME. You can name your daughter Holy (if you have a daughter) !!!
