For the incoming water feed, did the tank come pre drilled and all the fitting already attached?
No I drilled the hole at the top for the hose connector.
The one at the bottom was already drilled with a half inch thread I think 👍
probably a daft question, but when ordering the tank do you need the undrilled or outlet options, also is the stopcock already inside the tank as there's an option to add a brass float valve thank you

Just pull the lance trigger when starting.. of better still fit a frost valve.
Is the tank and your jetwasher bolted in your van,. I'm worried if I leave this in my van when I start my own business that the van will be broken into

Does the flow exit rate from the buffer tank exceed the GPM of the pressure washer, or does the pressure washer create vacuum to suck it out, thereby creating sufficient flow?
Thank you! Working on setting one up myself, but my flow rate out of the tank is lower than the GPM rating of the pressure washer and I don't want to burn it up.
Most pressure washers will suck yeah. A better measure of flow would be at the end of the high pressure hose with no nozzle on. Then you'll see a huge increase over what comes out of the bottom of the tank alone.

Just to be clear though, if my buffer tank...open valve, nothing hooked up to it besides the feed hose.... flows say 2gpm, do you think I could hook a 4gpm pressure washer to it? My tank is 300 gallons and flows out a standard size garden hose. I'm just surprised the flow rate isn't higher....300gallons should be a lot of gravity pressure.

Do you need a bypass that goes from the pressure washer back into the buffer tank. Was reading if you take your finger off the trigger and leave the pump running it can mess the pressure washer up. Is it worth installing a bypass ?
I think it's mainly for heat management to prevent the pump overheating. I had a bypass installed on that machine after this video.
I'm not sure what happens inside the pump when there's no bypass, I'd like to talk to a professional
@@SMOUT_ I read its just better for the pump, because its always getting freshly cycled water helping it stay cool, guessing it just increases the life span of the pump. how long did your pump last without a bypass?
Where did you get the hose and the brass connectors to attach to your machine and water supply? I can’t find anywhere
It's a suction hose which came with the machine. It's specifically reinforced so it doesn't collapse.
cam you send a link of the pipe that goes from the tank to the pressure washer
It came with the pressure washer mate. Just a 3/4" suction hose I think. Wire reinforced to stop it collapsing

What if you run out of water? Does the machine shut off?
It doesnt mate, as soon as it runs out i turn the machine off and wait for it to refill
But whats the problem with just being connected to clients water and use that for your job, do we need a tank?? Im just trying to understand
Depends on the water pressure as the pressure washer would most probably use more water than the outside tap could produce so you would need to part fill the tank before starting
