Shame there are no more American class 2 SUVs. Only pickups and vans are still like that. This and the Chevy Suburban HD need to return because some people want such an SUV for hard work.
Is the new excursion going to look like the Super duty with the entire body enclosed? I noticed now days SUVs have a different body than the pickup truck Frame it's on. Even the Expedition and even though it shares the same dash as the F150 it's smaller than the F150 super crew 5.5 bed. I definitely miss the days when SUVs look like enclosed pickup trucks.
Has anyone else heard about Ford bringing the Excursion back besides in this video? I’m wondering if there is validity to this information because I’m leaning about 90% towards this is bs. Ford and all other manufacturers are being forced toward efficiency to the point of sacrificing quality, power, and longevity. Manufacturers are being forced to ed towards electric vehicles and this is a step in the opposite direction. I’d love to see this happen! But as one can tell when watching this it is based on a model year 3+ years old and was published 2 weeks ago. Good conversation but total bs.
Hopefully it's a lot better than the excursion all 4 engines and two transmissions were junk the brakes and axles were to lite and the frame and suspension was way to small.unlike the suburban that was commercial grade and heavyduty everything.
They'd be stupid to not offer it with the 6.7 Powerstroke. The original 7.3 and 6.0 Powerstroke Excursions are still the holy grail of that model.
We have an old 7.3 excursion was really looking forward to a new one with the 6.7
This is outstanding and what a family of 7 or 8 needs especially when pulling a camper. I hope the payload is substantial!
No chance it will start at 60k more like 80k
Let us hope 🙏🙏🙏
More like 120k-170k.
Usd btw
At 60 K, my wife would bend my dang ear off yakking about replacing our F-450 with a new Excursion! 😅
This and the mustang would be about the only fords that i would buy
I don't know why Ford didn't do this sooner. It will make a great tow vehicle for my Airstream
I love a bigger suv.
I'm glad to see the excursion come back. I'm not fond of the way the expedition is designed.
Instead of this why can they you know not make an actual car a Galaxie 500 or LTD that is BIG and has a LOT of space but is still a CAR
Bring it back with 7.3 option!

Some people need to tow more than 10,000 lbs but don’t need an open bed
If it don't have a 6.7 powerstroke, don't bother...
I agree. I was hoping for the 6.7!
It’s gonna be electric 😂

As far as i heard, it will look like the Expedition, but the excursion is just a package addon that makes it beefier for towing
Ford would be dumb if they kept only one length, and not add an extended length for more room.
Where to park that? 😄
I've been.
Watching videos about the return of the excursion for 5 years, still waiting.Haven't seen anything hitting the market

Hell no. The 7.3 was the best diesel motor ever made with the best truck and the 5.4 was also good, while the v10 was decent.
@@3katd None of the Tritons were good. I had the 4.6 and 5.4 and both were terrible.
@@rich7447 oh shut up
Are you a gm rep or something? Lol the 7.3 engine is legendary.
What the hell is he talking about? Excursions have way more overbuilt drive to terrain in any suburban. Lolll
