Obviously-NFL stars possess otherworldly athleticism. There is no denying that.
But there are a lot of great athletes out there… and if you want to make it to the professional ranks, it takes a special sort of competitive nature.
Unfortunately for some of the league’s aging stars, the same competitive fire that got them there, ends up keeping them around for too long, as they try desperately to hang onto their glory days.
Or even worse-sometimes that spirit takes hold after they’ve retired-and it gets them up off the couch and ready to give it another go.
Let’s take a look at 10 NFL players who should’ve left well enough alone-and stayed retired.
Don’t forget to subscribe to TPS and make sure you hit the bell and turn on our notifications and join the notification squad.

Brett favre's retirement saga was strange but I'm willing to look past it partly because of how great his seaons with minnesoda was. He threw 33tds and a career low 7ints, so he debatably had one of his best seasons in the NFL at the age of 40. So when he stayed in the league because he felt like he could keep playing he kinda proved it for that one season.

The Brett Favre revisionism is crazy. He had his career best year in terms of passer rating, completion percentage and yards per attempt in 2009 while also throwing only seven picks, which was also a career low if you don't count his season in Atlanta. He also would've gone to the Super Bowl for the third time had there not been 12 men in the huddle or had the refs not allowed the Saints to headhunt for the entirety of the 2008-2009 NFC Championship game.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
      John 3:16 KJV
The wages of sin is death (hell) but Jesus paid our debt on the cross, for our salvation! We must turn to God and away from our sinful ways, Confess Jesus is Lord and believe with our hearts that he was risen from the dead by God, and we must be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son and The Holy Spirit and live by His word and Commandments! Trust that God will help with the rest!

Favre was traded to the Jets for a conditional pick that ended up being a 3rd-rounder, which Green Bay sent to New England to move up to draft Clay Matthews. New England ultimately used that pick to select North Carolina WR Brandon Tate.

Wow I actually had no idea Brett Favre kept teasing retirement even before Aaron Rodgers was drafted. Why did he get so mad about it if he had already been talking retirement for years?

Deionized wasn't playing baseball and his instincts were off. Running down a tiny white ball in sunlight makes catching a big brown football so much easier. No one figured that out

28-3 in a game the Falcons lost in a year they lost the Super Bowl... why does that sound familiar?

Farve would have went to the super bowl with minnesota if it wasn't for the saints and the refs not calling blatant roughing the passer penalties. Lol
