Unfortunatly no, the mat covers them. I suppose one could cut out an area where the hooks are but I don't think I'd recommend that given the price of this thing.

I don’t get why this isn’t an option for the US vehicles, the fact that you can fold the seats up without taking it out and it actually protects the seats seems so nice.
I know - it's crazy that this isn't an available option in the US, but I'm sure it has something to do with some idiotic regulation. I'm very glad I was able to snag this mat, even though it cost me a good deal of money to buy and have shipped from Canada.

Oh sure, the mat lifts right up and doesn't hinder getting into the lower compartment much at all.

@@basilbcf apparently it has to do with car seat regulations, at least that’s what others have said. But like just make spots where it clips open.
That looks like a 3D Maxpider design that you should be able to source for 1/2 the coat of this one.
