Whoa! Seven minutes and only one tune. And never a second of dullery. You made my Sunday, lads! And the tune's composer, Brendan Ring, of course, who pointed me towards this gem.
The talent these guys have is a sheer joy to listen to anytime and anywhere .much as I love this track my favourite track is "LUST "(THE LIVE IN GLASGOW RECORDING ON HERE AT TH-cam) ,have a listen to that track if you haven't heard it yet. The whole tune from start to finish is absolutely Epic
Sevan Kirder Hey Sevan. It looks like he is playing a standard scottish bagpipe using a chanter to match with the other instruments. He is likely playing a Bflat major chanter. You can only get them in A major, Bflat major or in the standard pipe key, which is halfway between Bflat and B. About 480hz.
Oileanach Something went wrong, I send my message again. I didn’t know that Scottish pipe were tuned in a non standard key. I was wondering, If you use a chanter to get along with the other players how do you manage the bass notes of the pipe? (what do you call them, drones maybe?)
Que magnificos son;chicos.lamento no poder escucharlos en vivo,ya que estoy a 11000 km de distancia.
👏👏👏👏🫀🫀
Fantastic from Celtiberia

Oileanach sorry I’m from Italy and for sure the terms are not correct... 😊

icorry56 When I play with my band I special pieces that extend the drones and flatten the pitch, bringing them into bflat tuning 👍
Oileanach I see thanks a lot for your explanation!
Need a solid tipper on that bodhran lol
