Ooooh we're so similar, very relaxing hobbies. Well not thrifting for me because the stores are chaoticccc hahaha.

Oooh these are very cozy hobbies. I want to be a plant person but my cats are literally from my backyard so they have destroyed so many of my babies.

Wait I have been wanting to write a poetry book and have drawings in it( I can't draw). I am in school for writing so I feel a lot more confident in my skills and I get to practice frequently. It feels so good to be able to get stuff out of my head through writing and to also take myself seriously enough to edit it and get feedback, etc.

I love that. My husband is a poet. Are you an English major or Creative Writing major? It's so important to get things out of our head, writing is a form of therapy and if you publish you'll be helping others.

Happy Holidays Jacinia! I so enjoyed this video, and truly resonate with everything you have shared. You are such an inspiration to share your journey so openly & honestly. It is very helpful!
Even though I am almost twice your age, I appreciate the chance to learn from your supportive hobby choices and habit goals. I love Dr. Dispenza's work too.
All My Best Wishes for a Very Blessed New Year! 🙏

What a wonderful video! I really enjoyed listening about all the cool things you're into! I enjoyed hearing about your experience with Shadow work. I think you're very hardworking and also very courageous for sharing your journey with agoraphobia and the stuff you've taken to regain what was lost through having it. That takes a lot of courage and it takes a lot of challenging work. I can't remember when I started watching your channel but I've watched you grow and continually change into your best self and it's been amazing. Truly.
My hobbies include singing with our local Choral society, as well as daily vocalizing, the MIR Method, meditation, exercise (mini tramp, dog walks), taking scenic tours with Bear and Zim, content creation (just started with shorts), writing, journaling, poetry, reading, gardening, foraging, gleaning, cooking, making lacto fermented food, dehydration, crafting with nature, painting, teaching myself how to play different instruments, dancing, improv, being a maker, working on my little house. In 2025 I've decided I'd like to teach myself how to play the ukulele (it's been in the basement waiting for me) because I love making up little songs and it would be great to play them on a ukulele. I also have a keyboard but I want to learn something new. I cracked up when you mentioned tap dancing because I have always wanted to learn how to do it. I think I'll ask my children for a pair of tap dancing shoes for my birthday in February. What fun! I'm also going to learn how to use power tools this year. 💪

AHHHH that first paragraph, my heart. Thank you for acknowledging the changes because I see it in myself too. I was so down in the dumps before and very hopeful now. GASSSPPP you started posting. I am going to binge watch, I've been wanting you to share all your knowledge on here for sooooo long. I did not your channel name change and the photo. Foraging is next level hobbies. Lacto fermented food is awesome. I'm so green to instruments. Oh yesss the ukulele, my favorite channels are Cynthia Lin and Bernadette teaches Music. Very easy to follow along. I'm also going to check out Cory teaches music soon too. Yesss tap dancing, I really miss it and need to get back into it, I have a little wood board and the shoes already and that's all you need. What power tools are you going to try first?

@JaciniaPerez A drill/screwdriver. I used a chop saw when I replaced the railings on the front porch of my former home. That was amazing. Woodworking is a lot like sewing, measure twice, cut once.

My jaw when I read open water swimming. I'm 32 and just started to learn how to swim in a pool 2 summers ago. It is sooooooooo hard and exhausting. It's funny too because I'm a water baby but I'm so scared of natural bodies of water.

When u run and it hurts in your ribcage on the side its most likely your spleen!! bc of the location of the spleen and the impact of your diagphram on it when u run it can get irritated. When i was very active in athletics i would slow down, walk for a bit with my arms raised above my head, and take very deep and slow breaths.
Most people go to curl up and hunch over but that actually can make it take much longer to calm down again!!! hope that helps xxx
    also loved the vid :))))

I'd recommend running slower. From the clip you showed, it seems like you're trying to run quite fast, which can make progress much more difficult. I'd personally recommend running at just a little above walking speed, and only speeding up once you're able to run a few km without walking.
