I think Pusha T's influence can be seen in lyrical artists, especially rappers that tip-toe the rapper/dealer duality. Pusha T took his influence from Jay-Z, Biggie, Raekwon and Kool G rap and took it to the next level. The rappers he's influenced would be Benny the Bucher, Roc Marciano, Freddie Gibbs and even Rick Ross to an extent. Any rapper that specializes in luxurious coke rap, the Clipse pioneered that from the 2000's on.

Pusha won this beef comfortably as Wayne isn't a battle rapper and Ghoulish was a terrible diss track. The funny thing is I can see Wayne squashing with Pusha as it wasn't personal and Wayne seemed to have moved on. But I can't see Drake and Pusha ending their beef as their shots to each other were personal and these two don't really like each other at all..

Everything about this has always been weird. Malice said the line but the beef has always been between Wayne and Push. Malice had seemingly avoided being involved even before he found religion. Pharrell has done songs with Wayne. Push shouted out Wayne on a track after being released from prison then destroyed him on Exodus. Drake is a push fan. Like damn bro 😂

Probably the best breakdown of the Pusha-Wayne beef I've heard. You even touched on the mixtape disses by Pusha that most people don't even know. There were a couple more disses Pusha had towards Wayne that weren't mentioned like on We Got It 4 Cheap Vol. 2 in 2005 on Mic Check and also on the Road to Til The Casket Drops Mixtape in 2008-09 on a song called Big Dreams where he goes at Wayne but overall this is dope!

IMO Wayne’s ability never fell off he just had a few bad years (2012-2014) but once he dropped FWA and S4TW 2 he got back on his shit. Alot of Pusha's career seemed liked he had issues with people waaaay bigger than him that he felt he writes better than. Like he almost chasing them to get his attention he so wants. It never seemed like Wayne ever put too much energy in this "beef" because I don't think Wayne from the start even knew why it was a "beef"

man it's hard to tell. drake supposedly said he's done with it in a long interview. but as we see in this video, dead situations can pop back up very easily. i feel like if both sides just don't talk about each other, it can work out but if an interview happens and one brings up the other somethin can likely happen.

As far as the war, you could still say Push because everything that Push said would happen, actually happened to him. He had to sue Birdman and fight to get off of the label. It took a while for Carter 5 to come out as well. His beef with Wayne caused his artist, Drake to come at him and he destroyed him as well. Imo War regarding the beef goes to Push. Album sales and all that is nice but it’s an overrated accolade when we talk about greatness of rappers. There’s a lot of great rappers who didn’t sell a lot of records, and some of the greatest hip hop albums didn’t sell much when they were released; ie Illmatic and Reasonable Doubt. In a sense you can say Pusha gained more positive notoriety during the years of dissing Wayne and Drake. He started getting more features, interviews, DAYTONA was even nominated for a Grammy. So imo the war goes to Pusha as well.
