Upon first glance, she really looked like a cute-but-deadly low-to-mid-tier Stern Ritter that could give a vice-captain some trouble, but not only did she really come into a good role of responsibility, with herself leading the ragtag group of rebel Quincies of herself, Bazz, Giselle and Nanana, her durability and power are very impressive.
Bazz was the one leading the group. Him being in front of her and Giselle and asking the shinigamis to join which he then left and wanted to go alone but from the Bambi group liltotto is easily the strongest and she ate meninas full power punch pretty damn easy
I really like how this video discusses how much responsibility and trust Ywach put in each Sternritter, and isn't just a straight power-based tier list. Subbed!
Makes sense that Yhwach would keep such discipline among his best fighters even if he regarded all as expendable, why have your elite troops fight among themselves rather than the enemy? Regardless the Quincies sure gave the Shinigami a deadly run for their money. If the hell arc resumes the series we may see more of the survivors in action helping defend the human world from hell's forces, many of them are there and sure won't allow the peace be disrupted.

Great video. Only thing (which isn't important but interesting information) is James (the lil plump dude) was actually Sternritter S and Mask De Masculine was part of his ability. When James died, Yhwach called him out by name and it was confirmed by Kubo recently from his Q&A.
I always thought Mask was James. Like maybe he looked like James before he got his Schrift. And after he got it he cheered himself on when nobody would. I might be overthrowing but I always thought of this as interesting.....and depressing.
If As Nodt had been promoted to the elite guard he would've been the second strongest quincy after Yhwach. People really underestimate his power of fear. He was defeated only because Kubo gave plot armor to both Rukia and her brother. The instant absense of fear on Rukia's side after Byakuya's lame conversation with her looked absolutely ridiculous. As Nodt's fear is primal, instinctive and irresistable. If Yhwach had given him the power boost of the elite guard he would've easily killed any other member of it (maybe even Gerard).
Nodt demolishing Byakuya was quite a spectacle. Byakuya's notoriously extreme pride and strict traditionalist mentality was no match against raw fear as expected. No doubt that led to him moderating his views in the postwar era, not just Ichigo's own humbling defeat of him.
Definitely not Gerard even if he was elite, Gerard is a piece of the soul king with an extremely hack and unbeatable ability. As Nodt wouldn’t be able to beat him…

The Nianzol thing is one of the many little reasons I love Bleach. Usually in shone manga during the bad guys vs the good guys arc the match-ups are always almost perfectly suited within the same level or same kind of powers but unsuitable match-ups here happen. I do wish Kubo sensei showcase more of the actual powers of some of these underrated characters though...
I feel like if anything it's actually kinda under-utilized? A lot of the times cool powers jus seemed to be canceled out by one character being 'weaker' spiritual pressure wise.

Nianzol was a temporary elite, Yhwach kept some solid constant elites like Haschwalt around and then kept a lot of temporaries from Quilge all the way to Nianzol, the other Four he got for the Soul Palace Assault were constant elites, until he got a hang on the Soul King´s power and mimihagi and then made them temporaries and auschwallen´ed them
It's very questionable. Even fullbring bankai ichigo couldn't get out until his quincy powers took over and helped. Quilge can even seal door ways between dimensions. It's a crazy ability
Match-up and abilities really matters most of the time. Oetsu defeated the elite guards before Ywach intervene. If Nianzol has to fight Oetsu instead of Senjumaru, he would probably stand a greater chance to win. It's just really sad we haven't seen more abouf this guy.
Quilge and Royd were temporary elites, Yhwach knew Quilge and Royd would absolutely get killed or on the verge of death from their assignments. When he got Uryuu I imagine he did so out of the need to get another temporary elite so he could guarantee that he can steal Soul King´s Power.

I feel like Cang's getting underrated here, he's able to contain Toshiro's bankai (Toshiro in bankai is shown blitzing and insta killing Mayuri(stated to have killed him 10 times), keeping up with Gerrard, reacting to off guard attacks from no eye patch shikai Kenny, weaving Gerrard, blocking Hoffnung and tanking attacks from post-Bankai Kenny fight Gerrard), his 'iron' also blocks Jugram's sword initially and he's given narrative hype on the level of BG9

Yhwach was so pragmatic. He took Nianzol ONLY for the entering state of Royal Palace. He didn't care anything else. Bazz-B was a powerhouse with no questions but he was that strong just because he spent so much time with Jugram.
Liltotto to me was amazing! (Giselle bae obv) in the sense that when she was introduced was kinda lame at first but nice in the behaviour and then, as you said, between leading the rebel sternritters, being able to contrast the P and killing Pepe to me became amazing! (I may be wrong, but she was the only one that "dodged“ the Auswahlen also) P.s. how stunning is Bazz-B in the cover you used in the thumbnail!
Now that you mention it. I think Bambietta might have hopes of getting into elite group. But it didn't happen because Yhwach choose Uryu. This might be the reason why she was really mad to see uryu. She felt like she was displaced by uryu.

Askin was the perfect candidate, he was loyal, smart, extremely durable, impressive, he had an extremely hacked ability that he could weild extremely well, and overaal my fav sternritter

Several times during the invasion we will see a scene of Bazz B standing there and he is clearly ragged and dirty from combat. I wished Kubo would have made gremmy an elite. Having the power of imagination on your side is always powerful and end game level in any manga and/or anime
He definitely has the power to become one, but I can see why Yhwach didn't make him one. All the elites are madly loyal to Yhwach, and value his safety over all else. His orders are absolute to them. Meanwhile Gremmy dropped a meteor on the Seireitei without regard for Yhwach's safety. We even see Jugram panicking and ordering his troops to "protect his majesty". All in all, he's too much of a wild card to be included in any sort of team.
Gremmy was too powerful to be a Elite, the fact he had to be stated to be reigned in By Yhwach himself shows he was very powerful. He barely lost to Kenpachi too, his space vaccuum attack had Kenpachi on the ropes, had he started the fight with that hax and Kenpachi would´ve lost by the time of the meteor summon.
I always thought Askin replaced Royd Loyd I believe Royd Loyd is definitely strong enough to be elite guard level as he battled a bankai Yama and managed to survive a few minutes
You forget he had to fight Ichigo and deal with Sneak attacks from X other characters, in a 1 on 1 fight, Quilge shown to be able to contend with Ichigo for long periods of time by fighting smarter than him.
Even though Gremmy is ridiculously OP I don’t think he qualifies to be an elite guard member due to his inexperience/childishness and recklessness, this could be due to the fact that yhwach had him locked up, or simply a god complex but he doesn’t seem like the type to carry out special tasks and all, more like he’s just capable of godly feats and mass destruction. I think askin replaced Jugram, Jugram is the personal advisor of yhwach, so it’s possible he was a member of the elite guard before having that position,this is just my thinking rn,I read the manga some 4 years ago so if I’m missing something then my bad💀

I hope BLEACH can continue the manga Hell Arc. I also wish for that can get more arcs after Hell Arc. I got some ideas like West Soul Society Arc, Heaven Arc, High Dimensional Being Arc. Wish Kubo could see my ideas : Hell Arc : about go to hell and fight the evil soul reapers and devil clan for saving world peace, and the final boss could be Satan the King of Hell who in charge the whole hell. West Soul Society Arc : about they go to British and crossover with Burn the Witch, and fight the new enemy called hybrid beings. This Hybrid beings are mixed with dragon cell, vampire cell, hollow cell, and zombie cell, created by a mad scientist. Since ESS we have Mayuri, so WSS side has a mad scientist would make sense. Heaven Arc: about to fight angels, archangels, fallen angels from heaven realm. If we have a Soul King in east, maybe there's a Angel King in west. Angel clan characters/enemies could be Michael, Raphael, Gabriel, Lucifer. High Dimensional Being Arc : about they go to 4D or 5D realm to fight the new enemy called higher dimensional beings, and reveal that there's a true God who created Soul King, Hell King, and Angel King.

It did confuse me on their anime version tho coz supposedly, lil and meninas are the ones who survived from byakuya's attacks.
It's not stated but it IS a quincy technique so those who mastered it could possibly use it. But NO ONE uses it lol. Quilge seemed quite special among the sternritters. We don't even see other sternritters absorbing reishi like he does. Quilge has absolute subordination over reishi on another level when compared to everyone else. Just him normally absorbing reishi is on pair with letiz stil Uryu's form
Yes, the younger brother Royd Lloyd could copy people's appearance and memories. This is exactly what he did to yhwach. He copied these things so that he could make Yamamoto think he was yhwach, so that he could fight and stall him until yhwach got done talking to aizen
Liltotto is cool because I haven't read the novels and don't underestimate Liltotto as she seems smart and knew immediately who Ichigo was. She can even throw back the attacks she ate in the novel, which also speaks to her diversity. But a quilge could easily beat Loly & Menoly and calibers like Bambietta, Äs etc can do the same. I don't see a Liltotto as a candidate for the elite. The same applies to Bazz-B & Bambietta. Äs Nödt's fear can be overcome with willpower. I would put Royd & Gremmy in the elite by a long shot as Gremmy can also defeat calibers like Askin, Jugram & Pernida with his Metoerite & Galaxy Room. Pernida would have what it takes to overwhelm Gremmy with his nerves, because nerves make him stronger and smarter. Quilge Opie is strong and even has good feats, but he dont have much hax. Could he absorb Bambietta's explosions or the flames of Bazz-B with Sklaverei? Is his willpower as strong as the Byakuya to avoid As fear? Could he defeat a Mask De Masculine who gets a boost from James every time? Quilge lacks the Hax and the attack power. And finally. Nianzol. Someone who killed so easily, pathetically and quickly for 2 chapters doesn't even deserve to be a Stern Ritter. Even NaNaNa or Cang are better than him. He has a cool ability, but he was defeated so stupidly that he the Stern Ritter title. At the end of chapter 597 he came and in chapter 598 he was shot. Nianzol is not a candidate for the Elite and was not a candidate to become a Stern Ritter.

I think Bazz B, Kirge, Gremmy and Mask would be good candidates. Kirge and Mask don't have the strength, but they do have the hax. Royd isn't strong enough. Getting whooped by bankai Yama isn't enough. Base Bazz B reflected shikai Yamas flames, and vollstandig seems to be even stronger than bankai. Bazz B had the raw stats, and Gremmy is Gremmy.

That's why he sent a duplicate against Yamamoto in the beginning of the arc - he knew he couldn't fight him head on so he needed to weaken him. Against Ichibe it was the same issue, except this time "The Almighty" proved enough to defeat him (just barely). Cang du - He definitely should be at least 'not candidates but impressive' cang du was able to block a sword strike from jugram, when jugram was able to slice fullbring bankai ichigos sword. I know he got defeated by bankai toshiro but that was only temporarily and he escaped the ice when he activated vollstandig. was also able to fight toshiro and matsumoto at the same time at the beginning of the invasion Robert - robert should also be in 'not candidates but impressive' he has better feats than the people you put in that category such as nanana, loyd lloyd, shaz domino and maybe more. he was able to take out shunsuis eye and able to stalemate him for the reminder of the first invasion, yeah, he got trashed by byakuya but so did nanana who you have in that tier, plus meninas and liltotto where the ones standing because of their ability, not strength. Liltotto to me was amazing! Several times during the invasion we will see a scene of Bazz B standing there and he is clearly ragged and dirty from combat. He definitely has the power to become one, but I can see why Yhwach didn't make him one. All the elites are madly loyal to Yhwach, and value his safety over all else. His orders are absolute to them. Meanwhile Gremmy dropped a meteor on the Seireitei without regard for Yhwach's safety. We even see Jugram panicking and ordering his troops to "protect his majesty".
All in all, he's too much of a wild card to be included in any sort of team.
Gremmy was too powerful to be a Elite, the fact he had to be stated to be reigned in By Yhwach himself shows he was very powerful.
He barely lost to Kenpachi too, his space vaccuum attack had Kenpachi on the ropes, had he started the fight with that hax and Kenpachi would´ve lost by the time of the meteor summon.

This Hybrid beings are mixed with dragon cell, vampire cell, hollow cell, and zombie cell, created by a mad scientist. Since ESS we have Mayuri, so WSS side has a mad scientist would make sense.
Heaven Arc: about to fight angels, archangels, fallen angels from heaven realm. If we have a Soul King in east, maybe there's a Angel King in west. Angel clan characters/enemies could be Michael, Raphael, Gabriel, Lucifer.
High Dimensional Being Arc : about they go to 4D or 5D realm to fight the new enemy called higher dimensional beings, and reveal that there's a true God who created Soul King, Hell King, and Angel King.

We don't even see other sternritters absorbing reishi like he does. Quilge has absolute subordination over reishi on another level when compared to everyone else. Just him normally absorbing reishi is on pair with letiz stil Uryu's form

Liltotto is cool because I haven't read the novels and don't underestimate Liltotto as she seems smart and knew immediately who Ichigo was. She can even throw back the attacks she ate in the novel, which also speaks to her diversity. But a quilge could easily beat Loly & Menoly and calibers like Bambietta, Äs etc can do the same. I don't see a Liltotto as a candidate for the elite. The same applies to Bazz-B & Bambietta. Äs Nödt's fear can be overcome with willpower. I would put Royd & Gremmy in the elite by a long shot as Gremmy can also defeat calibers like Askin, Jugram & Pernida with his Metoerite & Galaxy Room. Pernida would have what it takes to overwhelm Gremmy with his nerves, because nerves make him stronger and smarter.
Quilge Opie is strong and even has good feats, but he dont have much hax. Could he absorb Bambietta's explosions or the flames of Bazz-B with Sklaverei? Is his willpower as strong as the Byakuya to avoid As fear? Could he defeat a Mask De Masculine who gets a boost from James every time? Quilge lacks the Hax and the attack power.
And finally. Nianzol. Someone who killed so easily, pathetically and quickly for 2 chapters doesn't even deserve to be a Stern Ritter. Even NaNaNa or Cang are better than him. He has a cool ability, but he was defeated so stupidly that he the Stern Ritter title. At the end of chapter 597 he came and in chapter 598 he was shot. Nianzol is not a candidate for the Elite and was not a candidate to become a Stern Ritter.

I think Bazz B, Kirge, Gremmy and Mask would be good candidates. Kirge and Mask don't have the strength, but they do have the hax. Royd isn't strong enough. Getting whooped by bankai Yama isn't enough. Base Bazz B reflected shikai Yamas flames, and vollstandig seems to be even stronger than bankai. Bazz B had the raw stats, and Gremmy is Gremmy.

He only had two eyes, which meant his ability to see the future was limited. In all of the futures he viewed, none of them ended in his victory due to the sheer power of Yamamoto's Bankai so "The Almighty" didn't help. That's why he sent a duplicate against Yamamoto in the beginning of the arc - he knew he couldn't fight him head on so he needed to weaken him.
Against Ichibe it was the same issue, except this time "The Almighty" proved enough to defeat him (just barely).
