Yep, so many good fights are coming up, and I'm almost certain we'll see aizens bankai as well. My biggest anticipation is for ichigo vs. yhwach in wharwelt, though. Seeing ukitake kick ass in kamikake form would be cool, but I doubt we'll be able to see that.
One thing that I learn in bleach that it's allergic to good fight animation, I hope that change in cour 3 and 4 it's a crime to compare bleach fight vs other 2 of bleach brother naruto and one piece, they need to do something bleach ia still big 3 and the animation didn't respect the show, I put my hope to high in cour 2 and it broke me

Oh, and side note, around 11:40 you say his Zanpakutou's name is Sakuranosuke, but that's actually Kyouraku's name. He's Kyouraku Jirou Sakuranosuke Shunsui. The Zanpakutou's name is Katen, and he calls her O-Hana, Hana and Ka from Katen, both meaning flower. Just wanted to point out Edit: Man of culture, zooming into O-Hana's giant personalities Edit2: Solid video man, just gotta say, Nanao being of the Ise clan in and of itself serves as foreshadowing for her story, cuz it's more or less like a character named Zeus getting lightning powers. That being said, it's understandable to not like that choice if you aren't into Japanese mythology and folklore. Overall, great vid! Keep 'em coming fam
Liked Barro's characterization as a cold logical sniper. He would fit in perfectly in a modern human military/special forces environment especially since he gives no chances and picks off the enemy one by one. It contrasts the Shinigami way of fighting especially the 'honor' section. He's a modern soldier all on his own.
I think it was intentional characterisation as well. I remember reading that apparently Gerald represents warfare from years ago, while Lille represents warfare in the modern day. Not sure what the other two represent though, but it is interesting to think about.

I just hope they fully flesh out this fight and give it enough screen time. Both Lille & Shunsui are great characters and it would be cool to see a bit longer of a fight before Lille is beaten. Hopefully they pop off with the animation, this fight deserves it. One of my fav fights in TYBW.

While the title refers to it, you never even mention that Lillle Barro is the leader of the Schutzstaffe. That means the only person of a higher rank than him, is Jugram. This man is in charge of the heart and arm of Reio. This mortal man was deemed fit to tell gods what to do. He has a lot of prestige himself. And that is what makes Shunsui's declaration of his rank so awesome. Because someone else of great esteem acknowledged his title and the weight that comes with it.
The fact that nobody in squad 0 not even the OG zanpakuto creator, was able to drive Lille to using his full power and Shunsui just playing games with him
This Bankai is so op and very underrated but it's sad that it can't kill a godlike person who has immunity of dying unless they do have weakness to make sure they are 100% dead.

I get upset every time I watch or read the Yachiru Unohana vs Kenpachi - she’s just my favorite and I love how she brings Kenny power out and how when Kenny says “don’t die” always gets me. So I totally get where ur coming from - Kubo is the best
There's two things that I can make a note about; the first one would be that katen kyokotsu sounded more like reassuring that she would take him away to make sure he's safe, second would be that nanao's zanpakuto reflects light in general (like lilie's attacks that are made of light)

Like I said, idk how true that is but that would be kinda cool if that were the case. AND SPOILERS BELOW But if that is the case I wonder if the curse was broken since the original SK was killed and replaced?
They really didn't need to give Lille that bird form. After so many years of waiting to see Shunsui's bankai, it's very anti-climatic to see his opponent survive the final act. It sucked away all the umph that was his bankai, letting us almost forget all about it when Shunsui's Lt gets involved to finish Lille.
I've personally never seen the translation on this particular panel, but wasn't Lille the *first* Quincy that Yhwach inscribed a schrift to? It wouldn't make sense for him to be the last since we saw the last person he did it for on-panel - Uryu.

So I guess this fight will be like more of effects animation based fight and little close combat fight just like yamaji vs yhwach. Hope they do justice.

Lille Barro ISN'T the leader of Steirnrichter nor Schutzstaffel. He's the "Coyote Stark" of the Quincy. Both of them aren't the strongest AND they're underlings of Gin,Tosen,Aizen,Jugram,Uryuu and Ywhach. On top of that Stark and him are inferior to Yammi and every schutzstaffel in that regard.
