The Vollstandig is a really cool ability, though I wish we could have seen more of the Sternritters showcase it really well, like As Nodt and Quilge got to. Like Bazz going all out with his, getting a more visual upgrade with fiery wings, or Giselle looking more like an undead creature, would have been cool. Still, I really like the ones that we did get a good fight with. I would say As Nodt, Askin and Bambietta’s were my favorites. On a side note, I think Gerard’s new form is more tied to his ability then an actual Vollstandig, given that Pernida did not use one. SInce they are both parts of the Soul King rather then regular Quincy, that makes sense. Plus Gremmy, since he was also implied to be the Brain of the Soul King. Imagine how OP Jugram and Uryu Vollstandig’s would have been though, LOL! Though we might get something like that, if the anime expands on their fight, which I hope it does. Great video as always! :)

Shinigami shikai-bankai and arrancar ressurreccion is same Seal their part of soul in a sword (Even i think shikai and bankai is connecting on the subconscious) But völlständing and letzt stil is a technique which is increasing the absorbating quency power (the spiritual particles/ reishi) well letzt stil and vollstanding probably a bit different because for vollstanding need a rare quency’s power like yhwach anD jurgem (who can’t absorb reishi but the opposite!) so currently letzt Stil fusing your Reiryoku (soul power) with the reishi of the nature but vollstanding fusing your reiyroku and that quincy’s reiyroku + natural reishi!
I think what it meant was that when the halo is gone you lose the powers as in its abilities, but you retain the power boosts from the form. But even then thats not a big draw back. You can still use quincy techniques and your own just not the ones related to the volt standing

I cannot state how dope it is that the TYBW arc is finally getting love 🙌🙌 I never actually realized how the sternritter had unique triggers for their vollstandig, or the halo thing. Woulda totally loved to see more creative transformations like they did with as Nodt, as well as just seeing all the vollstandigs overall. Imagine how cool Bazz B could look with like Phoenix wings or smtn...

None of the quincies in the final arc used a sanrei glove. The vollständig activation was with their quincy zeichen that was either an accessory worn on them or engraved onto their body. All vollständig improve schrift abilities. Schrifts are unique ways of reishi manipulation, like giving specific properties to reishi itself, vollständig increases reishi manipulation so increasing reishi manipulation directly affects the powers and abilities of schrifts. Sidenote, Pernida and Gremmy would've been absolute abominations had they used vollständig. The destruction of the heiligschein does not destroy the vollständig. It prevents new reishi slavery from the skla verie ability which can only be used in vollständig due to it's high reishi manip proficiency requirement. It doesn't remove the satchel of reishi from which the quincy draw their power from but limits the time spent in Vollständig since they can't continue diffusing that much reishi without the heiligshein Lille's power is believed to govern 'null'. The x-axis runs horizontally through 0 and he's able to manipulate reishi as such, to bring its value to zero on any point instantaneously. He can passively bring his own reishi's physical property to 0 such that it can be seen but all things pass through it. He can bring the the presence of his reishi to zero to have it reform in another location and he can also bring everything in his trajectory to 0, in other words, annihilate reishi. Lille lost his power because the reflected power destroyed the heiligschein aswell as that satchel of reishi which completely removed the vollständig. I'm not sure yet why he couldn't simply reactivate it or why he still looks like a bird and why there were so many of him. Another point to note is that he fell through the shakomaku, a wave of energy that vaporizes reishi. Lille's reishi would likely be way too dense to be affected but it's still worth mentioning Update: he couldn’t re-enter voll stern dich because his zeichen behind his left eye was destroyed. The zeichen (quincy cross) is responsible for improving their ability to manipulate reishi as well as allowing them to enter voll stern dich and use sklaverie. Other sidenote: Gremmy can’t use voll stern dich since he doesn’t seem to have a zeichen. Might be the reason why his offensive power kinda sucks for such an ability
I think the Volstandig were an amazing transformation my favorite was Askins because of the look but Bambietta is still my favorite Sternritter with my favorite Schrift. But I do think Volstandig are weaker in comparison to Bankai and Ressurection. Quincy Volstandig can self activate if your standing too close to another Quincy who activated their Volstandig. The power boost almost never seems enough to cover a gap, they almost feel like a Kaoiken boost instead of a permanent one like other forms. You are right about Bankai having weaknesses. If your Bankai is immature it can be disrupted by a reaitsu shockwave or Spiritual Pressure as seen when Byakuya bullied Renjis Bankai. Videos are great quality 👌 keep it up.

You should do a video on the exact age of certain Sternritters. I feel like people over look that topic and assume there all very old even though As Nodt was in a pretty modern looking Hospital in his flashback. I think the Sternritter all could have could from different points in time.

When taking into account how Kubo actually designs trust is a deciding factor and not training (since it's the complete opposite of bankai and resurrecciõn). In universe the forms correlate with the amount of trust Yhwach has in a Sternritter, since Yhwach didn't trust Uryuu in the slightest I don't think his form would've been anything special, unlike Hashwalt that is.

Maybe back in the days they were always overpowered by the shinigami and get back up stronger but when they've removed the limiters of the leiztstil and upgrading to vollstandig they've become more powerful.

I wouldn't refer to Uryu as a half Quincy. Both of his parents are Quincies. His mother is mixed tho.
I do think there are some unknown restrictions to the Volstandig, otherwise why wouldn't the Quincy open up with them immediately, instead of treating them like a Bankai and using them only in crucial situations? (Beside Shonen logic). Its my headcanon that since the Schrifts and Volstandig are born from Yhwach's blood, a stronger version of his passive soul sharing ability, its my belief that the use of Volstandig weakens the user long term. In exchange for activating it, their power is slowly absorbed back into Yhwach, weakening them in the long term. The reason why they seem so powerful is that the 1000 year blood war is most likely the first time they've ever properly used these abilities, and thus they're at maximum strength. If it's hard to visualize, just think of Yhwach blood like soul steroids. The boost seems great, but it's artifical, and comes with downsides in the long term
The other major weakness of the Volstandig is the main weakness of the Schrift, being that once you obtain it you must serve Yhwach, who from then on can take your powers and even life if he so wishes, which he will do so once he deems you no longer useful. Say what you want about Bankai and Resurrección, but they are at least born from the users own power, and don't have a servitude/death clause attached.

It's pronounces Fo-lu-shi-ten-dig and not Wo-lu-tu-si-ten-din-gu
Most people pronounce it that way anyway tho. It is what it is. We 1st need to stop people from calling full hollow ichigo "vasto lorde ichigo" cause its not. Or ichigo from the fullbring arc "fullbring ichigo"
