Kabul, Afghanistan , one year later! Its exactly a year since i frst came to Afghanistan, I never thought id be back a year later! Sorry for tje slow uploading, ive been so busy filming and meeting people and not enough time to edit and upload, im slowly getting there! Also this trip ive met so many other tourists which i didnt get last year so much! This was just my first walk around to go to my favourite ice cream place. It was so sweet as i met the kids that were there last year when i went a solo wander around , they are there every day and always shout out my name and offer me an energy drink! ive been to a wedding, ive actually had so many amazing experiences that i wasnt able to vlog, but that will be memories i will treasure forever, like the wedding! lots more to come..thanks for your patience!

I'm speechless. Until just now, i had thought whole afghanistan is colored in sandish grey and everybody is armed with machine guns . But now i see trees, friendly and smiling people, who speak perfect english, a lot of colorful buildings, cars that are more modern than mine, it's completely different from the picture i had in my mind, which is of course completely based on pictures i have seen on german tv.
Thank you so much for giving me this impression from the real world!

If you go back to Kabul you should try to see Charlotte Maxwell-Jones, from Tennessee, who has been in Kabul for years and refused to leave when the US left. She has managed to work with the Taliban. She runs a small animal rescue that I donate to on as regular bases as I can. She manages to get animals out of the country through UAE and Canada and gets them adopted, or as many as she can. It's amazing how she manages.

Hello Emma, I hope my message reaches you well. I understand the reasons behind some Afghans' criticisms of your videos. It appears that a few individuals seek asylum in European or other continents, and in doing so, they may resort to exaggeration or falsehoods in recounting their stories. I've observed instances of Afghan individuals in Germany who have fabricated stories to evoke sympathy from German citizens, even though they later engage in light-hearted conversations within Afghan communities. Some even vacation in Afghanistan, contradicting their claims of danger. Certain individuals first travel to Pakistan or Iran before proceeding to Germany, possibly to avoid detection by the German government. I truly admire people like you who present accurate depictions of Afghanistan. Your efforts are valuable in countering the propaganda spread by some refugees and media outlets.
You are making the right thing.
Manana (Thank you) for your work.
    Best regards, Abdulrahim

@@WanderingEmma yeah ok ask all the women suffering severe human rights violations in Afghanistan and see if they agree with you. You have it pretty great as a tourist taking your little video talking to so many men that behind closed doors mistreat the women and forbid them from having basic rights. But all is right with the world since you were safe and you got to post a video on youtube where you act oblivious to everything else and then claim it's safer there than in the US, unless of course you happened to be an Afghan woman which is what you forgot to clarify 🖕

The woman are not all indoors covered up , women are out alone at markets shopping, see in other vlogs , this was one area at this one time where there happened to be no woman walking around , I could’ve filmed the same scene in any other country without woman and nobody would care , women do not like to be filmed for one thing … they avoid the camera .. you’ve been listening to too much media saying women aren’t allowed outside alone , which is so not the reality, sure there are issues with some women’s rights but they are not all locked up at home
