    I have the 19x and I love it. The only thing I wish I could make better is the reach to the trigger. I have smaller hands and I have to adjust my grip to get a good feel. Its not the end of the world or anything but I been thinking about an after market trigger to help with it. I just don't want to compromise the overall safety.

    • @MDpolo
      @MDpolo  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      My personal opinion is that you are not compromising safety if you get the upgrades from a reputable company. Having said that, if you want to keep everything stock, then perhaps have someone shave the back of the grip to make it flatter and thus shortened the distance to the trigger shoe.

    • @cbrdealer
      @cbrdealer 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I'm always looking for a better trigger for my Glocks, but I never thought of Timney. Getting close to a 1911 trigger??? Thanks for furthering my education. And if the video is deemed "not suitable for all advertisers", TH-cam is then making money off your creation, as there are adds on this video.

    • @MDpolo
      @MDpolo  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Rider’s-Range It’s an analogy that I used to let people know how good this trigger is. If you put it next to a good 1911 trigger, of course the 1911 trigger will be better. But for a striker fired trigger, in my opinion, this is as close as it gets. I highly suggest that you try these triggers in one of your Glocks. And yes, it’s starting to happen to my channel where it gets demonetized for no reason but TH-cam still runs ads on the video. As always, thank you very much for watching.

    • @MDpolo

      No comparison whatsoever. The Timney trigger blows them out of the water. At least in my opinion. Thank you for watching.

  • @barbandrob1
    @barbandrob1 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Not sure this retains all of the Glock safeties…..it is turning your trigger into a single action trigger….The Double action stock trigger is a very big safety feature of these pistols….when you depress the trigger, it is also expanding a 5lb. Spring on the striker, before allowing the seer to drop….this is why their stock trigger sucks….
    That said….I will probably buy one….lol
    Just be careful, while in battery, you now have the striker in the same position, as your old trigger when you hit the wall, during take up. You do still have a striker safety plunger, but the seer spring cannot be very stout. The 3lbs pull weight is a combination of 3 light springs, the plunger, the seer spring(w/striker spring pressure) and trigger return spring….
    Sig recently had a massive recall due to a similar scenario, yet I believe their fix was to add a Glock like, plunger safety….

    • @MDpolo
      @MDpolo  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m not a gunsmith, but Timney claims that it does retain all the safeties. Having said that, what you say makes sense. Thank you very much for the information and for watching.

    This is a completely new trigger there is no glock parts in this trigger, number two there is no drop safety on this trigger, do some research and you will see that it's true and also why you do you want such a light trigger pull on a carry gun that's crazy it's a safety issue
