Duuuude! Thank you for confirming my thoughts! I remember those baygon pads I used to buy back in Asia and for some reason when I saw the thermacell pads, I thought they look the same, so I wonder if I can use those instead of the more expensive thermacell refills. You just confirmed it! Haha thanks!

I got this when it was on sale at walmart and i use it still after 3 years. I couldnt believe how well it works and how consistent it is. I do not use anything else anymore, at all. Great product and if you are an outdoor lover or a camper, this is a very budget friendly and amazing investment
Fully agree with you. Just today, I was in my summer house with kids. When we arrived, there were mosquitoes everywhere, but after 15 min. when I turned on the Thermacell, there were none at all...love it and am using it all the time outdoors...

There is a fly that lives along the banks of the river Trent in Nottingham UK, it’s not a mosquito just a small black fly. It doesn’t bite or sting but it drives me nuts! This fly is attracted to your ears and continually buzzes into you ear canal and out again so fast you can’t swot the darn thing. Usually it does this either when you are midway through a cast or playing a fish you really don’t want to lose and often when you are sipping a coffee or having a sandwich. People watching me slapping at my face must think I am insane😂😂😂
Another good review this is certainly something I will look into for the summer months if I am going to fish an all night session👍
Hey Don. I can fully understand you as flies/mosquitos were driving me crazy each time I went fishing! Well, this gadget really helps, but you need to give it about 10min to see the results. Don't forget to watch the refill video as you'll save a lot of $$$! :)
Does it workm equally now when u dont have original pads. I run out of mats so im trying to find and alternative

Yes, it does, but with these small pads, I use 4 in one go. 2 from one side and 2 from the other one.
Do you have to use a Thermacell with the pads ? Can you not use a diffuser with a candle, placing the pad where the diffuser oil would go ?
Offcource you can think of other ways how to heat the pads, just use your imagination. 🤫

@@yesmanhk Hello. Visit aliexpress.com, register and search for "thermacell repellent". I haven't noticed the difference, just that you put 4 pads from ali instead of one as you do with the original. You can still see mosquitoes flying but they don't bite...

I love this product but couldn't help but notice this warning in the instructions:
Environmental Hazards
This product is toxic to fish and aquatic invertebrates. Do not apply directly to water. Do not contaminate water
when cleaning equipment or disposing of equipment washwater or rinsate. Drift may be hazardous to aquatic
organisms in water adjacent to treated areas.
So, if it is harmful to fish and the aquatic creatures they feed on, should you be using it while fishing?? John
Hello John. What it means, is that you should never drop those refills in to the lake, river, pond, etc. where there is a habitat of fish and other creatures. The Thermacell needs to be dry when you use it and you dispose the refills only after you've used them...
@@fishmadpro7210 I agree with what you've said, but don't you think "Drift may be hazardous to aquatic
organisms in water...." means the toxin drifts a distance, then settles. If you are in a boat or at the shore it's going to settle in the water. I love the outdoors and want to save some for my children and grandchildren.
It might be the case if you think this way, but from the other side, they had to perform all sorts of tests so that the smoke would not harm nature and other creatures before they could sell the product and the regulations in US and EU are pretty strict about that...
