The Santos is versatile and comfortable. The best part about Cartier is they have not raised Msrps as other brands have skyrocketed in the past 2-3 years. Good job Cartier!
100% agree with George! The Steel/Adlc is the best variation. As versatile as any watch can be and the Black dial and bezel combination actually makes it look and wear much smaller then the same size White polished version
Great overview. These are really refined Cartier timepieces with a ton of versatility with the bracelet or strap options so cover most bases. They also wear beautifully with curves that conform to your wrist and a low profile. I just wish they came with a half link to dial that fit. The two tone has a delightful pop of gold on the bezel. The only knock if I’m being super picky is that you’ll have to learn to live with the patina build up if this is going to get regular wear. Other than that Cartier really knocked this one out of the park.
Great review on the different variations of Cartier Santos! I wish this video came out earlier and I wouldn't need to do that much research. I bought one last year in November!!! I did months of research, lurking on videos of Cartier Santos like this and other channels, finally bit the bullet and went to my local AD. If you guys are in the market for one, definitely try it at your local AD and get one!! You will not be disappointed :)
I bought the white dial Santos large when it came out in 2018? and it still looks fantastic. Once a year I take a Cape Cod polishing cloth the the bezel and it looks like new.
The Santos released in 2018 has been the Watch of the decade. The ergonomics are perfect, the classic design is unmatched and the change of straps are the best in business.
I would say a medium case size Santos is the best version, especially for men with smaller wrist sizes. Anything from Cartier seems to wear well on the wrist.
Very helpful video. When are you releasing the Dumont version video? I’m torn between the two. The Dumont comes in quartz which I feel would help balance off my collection of otherwise all automatic watches but the de Cartier version has that classic white dial.
I love the looks on the website, but every time I see one at an AD, the polish on the front looks like a massive fingerprint magnet. Even in the shots on this video it just never looks that clean (with the exception of the black). Is this how it feels to owners? I have slight OCD and feel that would drive me nuts.
I have been eyeing black ADLC for some time now, and the price increased for about €1000 just recently :/ This won't stop me from getting it, but still tho..
Sorry i realy don't understand the buzz around them.... Its a square watch no complication.....(Except the crono-,to small) But if you like it enjoy Form my big hands they are tiny
Let's be honest here. The movement is garbage. It is not solid and rattles but the exterior build quality is exceptional. I sold my new Santos within a month. Not impressed.

Good overview. I’ve been wanting to learn more about these

always enjoy your Cartier videos, thank you.
Great video! Looking to add a medium later this year. Will pop into Scottsdale when I'm there in April to check it out.
I have the large santos and I love the watch. The quick switch is awesome and you can get some extra straps to change up the look

If they ever touch on a S size I’ll buy one in a heartbeat. I love the vintage size and other variants they had but want one for my own
I LOVE my Santos!
The green Santos is one of the best looking watches.
I'm going for a medium in white. (Next march).
Love my Santos green large!
You are so awesome, really!
do they scratch easily?

The Cartier watch area of their site filters by “him” and “her”.

Actually, they gender specific, even on their website you can click on mens or womens. I think it says his or hers.
that's true...they do good grief
I think this is more of a suggestion. Like when people say a red car is a woman's car. I don't think many people care with Cartier.
