Thank you for your video, my husband & I were really having a hard time picking the color, the reason is that we really wanted our home with white brick, I think is called sandy shore white, & the options the brick place had, did not have what we had vision, so we got antique white brick, & is a farmhouse, thank God it still looks good, but the brick looks off white with pink tones...so that's why...we're struggling to pick....our original color plan was to play with white, black & wood tones, but felt a little confused when the brick tone is much more warmer than expected...but we like it...like said, gives a more rustic look,...so I am guessing black fox will be it, since you mentioned it goes with any whites, & also wood tones...you really made it easy for us! Thank you so much, God bless

White Dove will look beautiful with Peppercorn. SW Extra White is a good option, although a bit brighter than White Dove. Another good trim color to consider with Peppercorn is SW Pure White, which is just slightly darker than Extra White.

Hi I am in the beginning process of choosing paint colors (black and white) and your video definitely is helping. If I wanted to do the pure white with iron ore and the tricorn black for the door, front steps. Do you recommend? I do want to do my front steps and deck the same color unsure if the tricorn will be tooo dark?
Both great paint colors! Paint will often look lighter on exteriors with ample sunlight, and Wrought Iron can look more like a dark gray than a black in some cases. Be sure to test them (and a few others) on your exterior before committing to one.
Love your videos..I want all soffit and fascia all white. Just few window trims will be SW iron ore. My house is facing SE and gets lot of sun. Which white do you suggest? I dont like whites that give off a hue of yellow. I really like white white...I went with SW High hide urethane for my kitchen cabinets.

Love Magnetic Gray! Yes, in general the black trim rules still apply. For Magnetic Gray, all of the blacks in the video would work well, though a more neutral black would be my pick.

If your exterior gets a ton of sun, you might find Extra White to be too bright, and not quite warm enough (might look too cold/icy). Maybe tone it down to SW Pure White? SW Caviar is fantastic.
I was thinking of doing sea pearl on exterior and iron ore trim- i want to do a dark brown on entry door and garage door, would that look fine? If so what color brown should i do on them. Thank you

It's a great combo! Snowbound is a white that can work great for some houses, and not so great for others, so it's not usually one I recommend at first. But, it can look fantastic when the lighting conditions are right.
I live in Florida so lots of light. Have a south facing home but with a huge oak tree in front that does partially shade the house. Thoughts? Thanks in advance.
South facing homes can look great with any of the whites shown here. Depending on how much shade your tree gives, you might want to push the brightness a little higher, depending on the look you're going for. The best thing to do is get several samples of different whites, and view them on your exterior with your unique lighting conditions. View them in the morning, noon, and late afternoon, and see which one(s) looks best throughout the day. Then adjust as needed.

Those two colors will work well together. SW Snowbound is a soft, warm white, but it can take on a slight pinkish-taupe undertone is certain lighting. It’s one that needs to be thoroughly sampled before committing to it. I love Tricorn Black for accents and doors but sometimes find it can be a little too dark for trim. With ample light, it could be just fine.
I just did my exterior doors including garage doors tricorn black. The siding is Aspen white B&B vinyl. The house is south facing and has black windows. Modern farmhouse. Looks great. I didn't want a black with undertones.I wanted a true black. .

Benjamin Moore and Sherwin Williams tend to be more popular among homeowners and designers than Kelly-Moore, so that's why I usually focus on colors from those brands. Kelly-Moore has some great colors, however, so maybe I'll put together a video with some KM colors.

SW Extra White can be a little bright, and lies on the cooler end of the spectrum. So, for a house that gets a lot of sunlight, it could end up looking too bright and stark. Testing a sample of it will tell you for sure. SW Caviar is beautiful for a "black" trim color.

Good idea! If you live in an area that is often overcast, a brighter and warmer white is usually best.

Pure White and Iron Ore are a great combo. Tricorn will look good on the door, but could be a little too dark/overbearing on the front steps.

Yes, you can definitely do a white garage door, or another "bridge color" like a medium gray.

Yes, that can work well. Some good dark browns are SW Turkish Coffee, Rookwood Dark Brown, SW Van Dyke Brown, and SW Dark Clove.

Definitely satin for trim
Flat is typically best for stucco surfaces, while a satin is great for siding and trim.
